THE RESTAURANT This place is absolutely NOT WORTH IT! The food itself is good, but the waiters are extremely rude and impolite. Don’t go there, for your own good! I specifically asked for gluten free food (I’m celiac) and they brought me a regular one. I asked them to redo it and the new one had a peace of plastic inside. At the end when we asked for the bill, they gave us the wrong one, and when we pointed out all these issues, they didn’t even bother to apologize. On top of that when we finally left, they didn’t even say goodbye, as if all the problems were our fault. Extremely rude and unprofessional

The smallest schnitzel I've ever seen on a plate. The place is very nice and the service is fast and friendly. The food and the owners' insistence that a 5 cm schnitzel is perfectly suitable for the daily menu are ridiculous.

Nice place for local food. They also have lunch menu. Prices were reasonable and employees friendly.

A mixed bag. The young female waitress was very friendly. However, the older waitress got the drinks order wrong and brought the wrong beer. The soups and cordon bleu were great but the corquettes with the medallions were still frozen in the middle whixh is unacceptable.

Rooms are super small, and there no car parking. It is not a value for money and absolute caotic.

The restaurant definitely deserves 5 stars. Even if I can't judge the rooms as a restaurant guest. Food was excellent. Service very courteous and very friendly. Very delicious chanterelles with homemade bread dumplings. They were perfect. Super fluffy.

4 days I spent in Graz were wonderful. The Pension is nice and comfortable, with excellent location - convenient traffic lines, kind staff and very tasty food. The breakfast was excellent with fresh fruits, homemade jam, fantastic bakery. The room was comfy, at all.|Hope to return!

Average food for Austrian standards and poor + unfriendly service. Brought the wrong drinks and no one was available to tell. Got squash instead of juice. At the end when we said we were told other people managed to ask if they wanted/needed anything. Our 4 year old spilled a drink but food was just dumped on top of it albeit aware. No one asks if we wanted anything else or checked on us. Strange service culture in this place!

Yelp
Delicious food in a casual though touristy setting. The ambiance and menu are very traditional Austrian, but the food is great. The outside seating is perfect for people watching or getting fresh air in the summer. Service was very friendly and the food took just long enough to know it was being made fresh. The steirschnitzel, a breaded cutlet in the local area's style was delicious with a unique pumpkin seed crust and tender meat. The potatoes were up to the high Germanic standards for root vegetables. The bauernkotelett, an unbreaded cutlet with bacon, onions, and mushrooms was outstanding and super filling. Oddly the fried chicken seemed very popular as well. The beer menu wasn't huge but had some local brew which was delicious with all of the meat. A perfect spot for the Austrian food fix a bit removed from the touristy center of town, but a fairly short walk away.
