Zurich Succulent Plant Collection

We enjoyed seeing the great collection of succulents and cactuses here. The stuff was very friendly and one can even buy a small succulent or a cactus here. A nice souvenir. The collection of succulents is impressive. Definitely worth visiting. Entrance is free of charge.

Cactus and succulent lovers: this plack rocks. It's free and located by the lake in Zurich. Allow 45 minutes to really see everything. You'll see the most unusual specimens - many were blooming dury our July visit. Not much is free in Zurich, but this botanical garden is.

Amazing collection of cactus and succulents. Great effort to preserve the various exotic plants in self initiative. You must make a stop to this place and can enjoy sun and water just next to Zurich lake

Wonderful greenhouses with the largest display of Cacti and succulent I have ever seen. Also Orchids in some sections. Some of the most unusual and unique species are on display. Highly recommend and free entry! Tram 7 takes you to very close by.

This was SO cool. We stumbled upon it and it was so well maintained and super clean. I wholeheartedly recommend it if you're in the area.

WHAT A FIND! This glass, botanical building on the lake hosts a state sponsored collection of succulent plants from around the world, and it's free to visit. We absolutely loved happening upon this curious establishment in Switzerland, and delighted in a culture that offers such resources for the benefit and education of its citizens and visitors.
