I stayed here for just one night. The hostel itself is huge with plenty of space to sit and relax. Check-in was smooth, and they even have a screen where you can buy tickets for major attractions. I was able to book the Lindt Chocolate Factory tour easily for the next day, which was great since it was sold out.
The rooms are a decent size, though there’s no air conditioning, so it did get a bit warm. Beds were okay, but you have to make your own bed with the linen provided. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Overall, it has everything you'd expect from a good hostel, and the staff were friendly.
However, I wouldn’t recommend this place for solo travellers. It felt really empty while I was there,I didn’t see anyone else on my floor for about three hours, and even downstairs it felt kind of isolated. It’s also a bit far from the city center, and coming back at night felt a little scary. Even during the day, the surroundings were pretty quiet.
If you’re traveling in a group, it’s a solid choice. But if you’re alone, I’d probably look for something more social and central.
