This is a solid Korean spot with very typical Korean flavors—nothing mind-blowing, but everything tasted good and hit the spot. One big plus is that they’re open late, which makes this a great option if you’re having a late-night craving and don’t want fast food. For that alone, it’s a pretty reliable choice. That said, the service was just okay. The female server we had came across a bit cold and slightly mean, not very warm or welcoming. That said… I guess that’s kind of a thing with some Korean restaurants, so it wasn’t totally shocking—just don’t expect overly friendly service. Also worth noting: the location isn’t the safest, as it’s in a rougher part of SF. Parking is street-only, so I’d recommend coming with others and being mindful, especially at night. Overall, a good late-night Korean food option if you know what to expect and plan accordingly.

We were craving for KBBQ and found this place. No wait, and got seated immediately. Average price and typical dishes, only 3 side dishes and a small plate of shredded cabbage with spicy mayo dressing. Recommend the BBQ spicy pork. Fast service, friendly staff.

Great spot that stays open late! Food is good and the restaurant is always playing some K-Pop on the projector. Overall nice vibe. Their Kimchi Fried Rice will hit the spot for that comfort meal late at night.

Found ZZAN off of yelp and it was good for a late night option. Two of us ordered: takyoyaki $8, not very good, would avoid dolsot bibimbap $17 pork tofu soup with ramen $18, not much pork fried chicken $24 soda $2.50 Overall, flavors were good. Wish their tofu soup had more meat. Staff was friendly. Street parking only.

Nice little restaurant with quick service. Perfect for satisfying your hunger fast. The food we had was good enough for that purpose – more on the fast-food side than fine dining, but tasty if you want something quick. The boneless chicken was “okay” but a large portion, and the rest we tried was also fine. Generous portions overall.

I am visiting from NYC and I just ordered some food as minute meal through Uber Eats before I return back. I never expected this to be one of the best things I’ve ever eaten, and that’s coming from someone who frequents Ktown in NYC. I got the creamy rice cakes and cheese sticks. Absolutely the best meal I’ve had in SF. Food came so warm and tasted amazing. Extremely lucky to have tried this place right before leaving, and just goes to show how they value their quality as the food was perfect even as late as 12 AM. Didn’t even get to take pictures because the food was devoured so quickly! Must visit for sure!

Located in San Francisco’s Lower Nob Hill, ZZAN offers a mix of traditional and modern Korean dishes. Here’s what stood out during my visit: Cold Noodle Soup: The cold noodle soup is a refreshing choice, especially during warmer weather. The generous portion of noodles combined with kimchi creates a satisfying and tangy flavor. It’s a must-try for those seeking a cooling dish. Beef Soft Tofu Soup: While the cold noodle soup stole the show, the beef soft tofu soup didn’t disappoint either. The broth lacked a strong fragrance, but the flavor was decent. It’s a comforting option, although it doesn’t stand out as much as the cold noodle soup. Broth fragrance could be improved.
