Barbunia in Tel Aviv is fantastic. The service was warm and quick, and Adi made us feel like regulars the moment we sat down. The food was incredibly fresh—simple dishes done perfectly, full of flavor, and served piping hot. It’s the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit. Highly recommend.

We dined here because this place is a Tel Aviv institution, but felt that our one-time experience was more than sufficient. The dining room next to the bar where we were seated allows smoking, so beware if you are sensitive or simply a non-smoker. Service was pretty lackadaisical, even for Israel. Food was alright. No real complaints except for the portion sizes compared to the prices. There are simply mich better meals to be had in Tel Aviv and the surrounding areas.

Very informal atmosphere but it carries a lot of the hipster vibe of Tel Aviv. Food was good and not overly expensive, service was friendly but the place feels like a pita shop in a local shuk / market. It really gives a bit the impression that you are eating in the backyard of one of your friend houses. The toilets were not great with a dead cockroach just lying next to it… overall felt very Tel Avivi, good food in a round down atmosphere. I will go back!

Nice food, great fish... Rough but simpatetic service... Short concise and precise about this restaurant. Decent choice of fish and seafood. Nice starters, but simple service and... decoration. Yes... The girls may "trough" the plates to the table, yet they are helpful - seen much, much, worst than that... Yet they are helpful and the food definitely makes worth a visit... So... Decide for your self... After reading recent reviews I decide I would risk a visit... I do not regret it...

Every hour very fresh fish and seafood. Natural tastes as “once”. I prefer a whole fish on a pan, just fried. A lot of small salads “ on the house” that we both know included in the price;) The service is loosy thus only ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

I ordered a fillet of fish that was advertised as coming with a side dish, which is why I ordered it. A side was not provided and I was refused any compensation. They lie to their customers. The dish was expensive for what was provided: small piece of fish, it was quite dry, and for not being served with anything but half a lemon. Would not recommend this place at all

Very good experience : - wonderful service with a lot of advices - fresh food : you can literally see the fish on the display. They may also run out of some fishes because of that. The fishes and the sea foods are wonderful in taste and not too oily. - very good salads, free and unlimited refill - a little pricey but worth it

We had a very bad experience visiting the place. Got fish and my wife took salad. I'm making much better fish at home. Salad was ok. Also we got small dishes with various salads. The waitress didnt say anything. But at the end she told me that because we took only one main course i had to add for small dishes too. Prices for such food are very high.
