This is the best low-cost hostel that I found in Chiang Mai, and I stayed in 4 different hostels in 10 days. There are many advantages to staying here... It's the cheapest. The americano coffee hot is just 30 baht (next cheapest I found was 35 baht). The breakfast is really good and very affordable - adding 1 egg costs 10 baht (next cheapest I found was 15 baht). The scooter rentals are cheap. The staff (Zung and Gor) are super nice - it's a very chilled place. The swimming pool is definitely usable.Compared to the other hostels, no stupid rules plastered everywhere in your face. The disadvantages which I found include cleanliness (it is not cleaned well at all), the tiny lockers leave much to be desired, the mattress was not in great condition, some towels have stains, no privacy curtains on the bunkbeds. The biggest disadvantage isn't the hostels fault... At a price like this, yoymu have little control over who the other guests might be - it could be anyone. However, everyone who was there at the same time as me seemed nice. If you're on a tight budget or just want to save money, I strongly recommend ignoring the problems, accepting it for what it is, and enjoying your stay! Again, it's better than the other hostels...
