Centara Watergate Pavilion Hotel Bangkok

Stayed at Centara Watergate Pavillion Hotel and had a great experience. The rooms are big, clean, and comfortable, and the service is top-notch—special mention to the concierge team for their excellent assistance throughout the trip. I didn’t opt for the breakfast package because I wanted to try the local food, but the buffet looked very tempting and well-presented each morning. Location is fantastic. Everything is within walking distance—Big C, CentralWorld, Platinum Mall—and tons of delicious local food like Pratunam chicken rice, boat noodles, Soi 19 wanton noodles, and the night market. It’s also easy to get to other shopping areas, though do note that traffic can be heavy depending on the time you return. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Great place for shoppers and food lovers!

We stayed at Centara Watergate Pavilion Hotel and had a mixed but overall pleasant experience.||The room itself was very comfortable. The bedding and pillows were excellent — you’re given a choice of softer down-like pillows and firmer ones, which we really appreciated. The shower had strong water pressure and hot water came quickly. The room also had a generous coffee and tea setup, much better than average, and bottled water was always replenished.||The staff stood out in a positive way. The bellman was especially friendly and helpful, and when we had an issue with our first room, the front desk handled the room change quickly and professionally. They were consistently polite and tried to be helpful, which mattered to us.||That said, there were a few frustrations. Our first room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke despite being booked as non-smoking. The replacement room was fine, though it had a small bunk-bed room that would be great for families but felt like wasted space for a couple.||Room service and dining were confusing. There was no visible menu in the room, and staff initially insisted there was a QR code that didn’t seem to exist. We found it later on a shelf. When we ordered a Margarita pizza, what arrived was not what I'd consider to be a traditional Margarita -- and it came with ketchup on the side. No big deal, but could be better. Prices were reasonable, but ordering food felt unnecessarily difficult.||One important note for older guests: the bathtub design is risky. While the tub itself is large and has excellent hot water, it is surrounded by high marble walls that make getting in and especially getting out quite difficult. As someone in my 60s — and even for my much younger and athletic wife — it felt unsafe enough that I avoided using it toward the end of our stay.||Overall, Centara Watergate has comfortable rooms, excellent bedding, and genuinely kind staff, but it could improve clarity around dining, room details, and bathroom safety. With a few adjustments, it could be a much stronger experience.

My recent stay at Centara Watergate Pavilion Hotel Bangkok was very satisfying especially the warmth and friendliness from all staff at the reception, F&B outlets, porters, security and housekeeping with their ever smiling faces, politeness/courteous response whenever we approached them be it enquiries or assistance. Not forgetting the room are well upkept by daily housekeeping and greatly appreciated. Kudos to all staff for the delightful services and indeed it was a very comfortable and pleasurable stay. The hotel location is very convenient and nearby ( walking distance ) to prominent shopping malls - Pratunam Mall & Night Market, Platinum Fashion Mall, December Mall, Big C, Central World and BTS station. Highly recommended with reasonable hotel rate.

During my visit here, the staff was very helpful and friendly. I felt welcomed and the room is very clean and comfy. Staff Wanlop was very helpful as i had left my cardigan in the room after checking out and only realised a couple hours later. He managed to retrive it and was helpful in directing us on how to get to the airport later for our flight. The price for 4 nights was very budget friendly too! All and all me and my mother really enjoyed how convenient it is. The hotel is only a walking distance to both Pratunam market and Platinum mall!

We absolutely loved this hotel from start to finish. We celebrated New Year’s Eve on the rooftop, and it was truly amazing. The staff were wonderful—always smiling and welcoming—and everything from the buffet to the front desk service was exceptional. Every detail made our stay special. I would highly recommend this fantastic hotel to anyone visiting Bangkok.

I was here to pick up my tourists so no comment on the room. Personally, I received a good hospitality from the staff from the bottom til réception, appreciated it. The hôtel lobby and restroom are clean and cozy. Nice view from higher floor or lobby. The hôtel is also well places in term of those who désires to do a lot of shopping and visit some historical places. The hôtel can be easily accessed by local transports like taxi, tuktuk, BTS Skyline, or taxi-boat. However, for the traffic is sure case that very busy especially during prime time.

A great experience at Centara Waterway. Spent 4 days 3 nights here for vacation. Overall great stay, great staffs, and clean room. Stayed at 16th floor and had great sleep throughout the night. No street noise, quite good sound proofing. Maybe due to weekdays stays and no much people. There is a Starbucks kiosk at the reception floor. Downside of the hotel is that, guest rooms corridors abit dark and the reception is located at 9th floor.

Well located hotel near Pavilion mall. It is minutes walk to Central world and steps away from the night market. Lots of street food and food places around. Hotel is pretty old but we'll maintained. Everything works fine and room is spacious. Breakfast is pretty good with some changes everyday. Staff are friendly and service is good. Only drawback is the traffic outside but after all, it's the same everywhere around this area.
