I recently stayed at Watergate Pavilion Bangkok Hotel. The hotel is in a prime location, which makes it very convenient for shopping and exploring Bangkok. The property itself feels like a luxury hotel: the rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained.
The breakfast was one of the highlights of the stay. I really loved the spread, there were plenty of options.
However, the service experience was mixed. At check-in, they asked for a security deposit in cash, which was a bit inconvenient. Although we managed to arrange it, it would have been easier if card options were available.
Another issue I faced was in the lobby area. After a long and tiring day in Bangkok, I briefly lay down on the sofa to rest, but a staff member asked me not to sleep there and to remain seated upright. Felt rude.
While the property and amenities are impressive, the service could be slightly more guest-friendly to match the luxury experience.
