Myanmar Beauty Hotel 2, nestled away from the bustling downtown area, offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by lush rice fields and beautiful green scenery. The hotel provides a variety of breakfast options at their buffet, with a standout dish being the traditional Monhinga soup, prepared in authentic Taungoo style. Hotel staffs are friendly and attentive. A relaxing getaway with excellent breakfast and outstanding service!!

Stayed here a couple times since late 90's and it gets better each time I come. This successful family-owned business is now in the hand it's new generation and it keeps progressing. The original two-storied wooden buildings are now upgraded with better amenities and more comfortable. The rooms in the east side have views as far as eyes can see. And of course the breakfast is fabulous and you will dine like a king. It may not be the modern hotel but has an old charm. The service here is probably a secret to the successful hospitality business. You're surrounded with many helping hands and friendly smiles from the moment you walk in to the hotel and until you leave. There are a few things they can improve. However, you'll forgive the small needs and definitely enjoy your stay here.

The room we stayed in was a bit small, but had mosquito nets, nice terrace and good wifi. Bathroom was nice and clean. Breakfast was good - they offered a lot of different samples of local dishes, pancakes and fresh fruit. You can also order food during the day. There is also a nice garden. Location is good if you like a quiet and peaceful hotel but quite far from the center if you want to walk there.

Pluses: The breakfast is easily the highlight of this hotel, although the friendly staff is also a big plus. Rooms are clean and have good AC. Manager and owner are very friendly and speak very good English. Can arrange touristy trips around the area. Minuses: Bathrooms are not great, and water pressure can be an issue. If you don't ask, staff won't clean anything. Internet is basically non-existent, and the owner has lots of excuses to not do anything about it.

We stayed here for 3 days the hotel was clean and quirky ( loved it). The owners and staff very welcoming the breakfast was the best we'd had in Myanmar. The owners took us for walk around their garden. I learnt a lot. |We will definitely be going back.

I really like the room because they are beautiful and big. The service is not that much good but I like it. I really like the location because it's so cute and beautiful.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights and we would definitely repeat. The host was extremely attentive, as well as the staff (not all of them spoke English though). The rooms were cosy and the bed extra comfortable. The breakfast was beyond amazing!!!! And they have the coolest toilet paper holders I've ever seen! 😜 we recommend it wholeheartedly!

While on paper, this hotel looked great and its breakfasts are legendary. The catch is that when the Myanmar wedding season (to my understanding at the start of the dry season) starts it can be hell. Village weddings in Myanmar can be VERY loud affairs lasting late into the evening and starting as early as 4:15 in the morning. Because this hotel is situated on the edge of the town, it is very quiet otherwise. At least in town, the noise there would offset some or all of the noise taking place in the villages. I feel sorry for the owners because this problem seems to be out of their control.||||Otherwise, our stay was great. The hotel was even able to accommodate us with a box breakfast for our 5:30 a.m. departure.
