Amazing and huge museum. It's very peaceful on the weekdays as its so big. There's always a school visiting but it won't bother you at all. There's a huge selection of fabrics, clothes and other tools used to make silk. Very interesting and free! Great for a few hours on a rainy day.

Very impressive museum. Free entry. All displays include English. Buildings are modern contemporary in design fitting perfectly against the manicured landscaping. Learn the entire process and history of silk fashion, trade and the silk road. Catch bus 87 which is only 2 yuan.

This is a museum very worthwhile visiting, even if you are not specifically interested in silk. This museum is already unique for it's architecture and gardens, but also for the broad range of topics presented from traditional silk clothing to European fashion. The museum has a bistro/café within the museum shop with outside seating as well with a view on the beautiful garden

The "Silk Museum" it's a really interesting and fascinating place. It's hard to imagine how the silk trade has been important in the history of many countries along the centuries: the Museum gives you the chance to know it.

The region is famous for its production of silk clothing. This museum shows you how silk is made and how the clothing are made. Very interesting and good place to purchase some silk goods. Worth visiting!
