The place was very beautiful. But when booking the cab, we were not able to find the cab. After few minutes, when we found, the driver started shouting at us for being late and just left. Probably because we are not chinese. He was being racist. Terrible experience. Would not recommend China to anyone

Absolutely lovely place for a walk, West lake offers a beautiful view, and the Park are lovely aswell. I'd suggest buying a fan though, it gets very warm in all of Hangzhou during summertime.

Nice hike up to the pagoda from the north side of the city. No entrance fees and paranomic view of the west lake from the northern hills.
