The whole area keeps that old dormitory look, a bit worn-out on the outside but full of that artsy. There are plants everywhere, cute handwritten signs, and warm fairy lights that make the place feel cozy. Walking in kinda feels like stepping into a slower, more relaxed little world. Each shop here has its own personality, you’ll find handmade jewelry stores, indie coffee spots, and creative local brands. The shop owners are really friendly too; they’ll happily chat about how they started their business or their ideas about living creatively. On weekends, it gets a bit livelier. You might see street performers, people sketching on the grass, or friends taking photos together. Everyone’s just chilling, soaking up that slow living vibe. It’s not just a shopping spot, it’s a community where creativity and people naturally connect.

Its different from all the old town in Taiwan. Small area with its own quaintness. The community is calm with a laid back life style and at the same time try to strive for growth with their uniqueness art community.

Such a cute lovely place to visit in taichung. The complex has an nice old look to it with a lot of coffee and craft shop for surfing arounf

Very pretty shopping area with some cafes. There are crafts shops on tables too. We learnt that there is curation of the crafts as only handmade items are allowed to be sold. Mass produced products are not sold here. Most shops close by 6.30pm so do come early. It is not a night market.

Lovely place to visit, many push cart type stalls with handicraft and arts stuff. There are permanent shops too in the little buildings around, definitely worth a visit to spend few hours here.
