戸隠高原横倉

Wonderful old Japanese guest house. If you go there make sure to book dinner and breakfast, it is very delicious! On request, even vegetarian options (which we had and which were very plentiful and delicious) are available.

We went to Togakushi out of season and it was pretty much deserted. We wanted to do some walks. We were the only people staying at the hostel and the couple that run the place are very helpful and kind. As no restaurants were open a couple of nights we were there, and they weren't cooking the owner let us use a little mobile cooking unit to make some pasta. The first night we were able to eat at the soba noodle restaurant on the corner of the same street. Our room had a heater and was of tradition layout with futons to sleep on. There is a small onsen (bath) which was old, but very nice to have as it was so cold. The walk to the upper shrine was completely sensational, we were lucky enough to have snow that day.

Great cheap and historic hostel-ryokan hybrid located in a beautiful neighbourhood. If you're looking for a Japanese experience on a budget, this might be your thing. Keep in mind, however, you get what you pay for. Rooms are traditional futon/tatami style. The building itself is quite old and it gets pretty chilly in the night even with the (old) heater on. In a sense, it's too authentic at times. Also want to mention that the futons/blankets are pretty small (I'm 5'6/168 cm and my feet were hovering over the edge. Bath and toilets are clean and get the job done. Again, a bit chilly. I recommend dropping by the rustic cafe located just outside.

Such a lovely welcome by the hostess she was so warm and they quickly set me up in the hostel room. As a friday night I had the place to myself. A really nice feeling of staying in a very japanese hostel. Futons in the dorm room, japanese sento style wash room. Its a large building and the dinner which I paid for was delicious and very japanese. Would definitely recommend!

大人2人6歳（未就学）長野大好き千葉県人です 。戸隠スキー場宿泊でお世話になりました。 温かいおもてなしに、清潔に清掃されてホッとする部屋にコタツ！うちはコタツがないから子供が大喜びでした。お風呂とトイレ洗面は共用ですがとても清潔で、布団もふかふか、すごしやすかったです。 そしてごはんが、美味しすぎでした。季節のものをバランスよく、ほかの方が書き込み通りの幸せを感じるふろふき大根！子ども用に生玉ねぎをぬいてくださってあったり配慮がすばらしく、子どもも美味しくてもりもり食べ過ぎてました！食後のママが嬉しいルイボスティーも。 癒されゆっくりできお腹も昔ながらの住まいも体験でき幸せ家族時間を過ごせました。ありがとうございます。今度は夏たずねたいです！

高妻山登山の際、連泊させていただきました。 まず、着いた時に立派な門や茅葺き屋根の素敵な外観と雰囲気に目を奪われました。 入ってみると昔ながらの玄関や階段、お部屋がまた良い感じ。 冷房はないですが毎日冷房にさらされている身としては自然の風で涼しいとは素晴らしい！ 8月なのでお風呂上がりや寝始めは暑く感じましたがそれでも全然風が涼しい。 トイレや洗面所はリフォームされていてすごく綺麗。 WiFiもあります。 お風呂は狭いので混んでいるとどうかなとは思いますが麦飯石のお風呂でいろいろと効能があるようです。 食事も旬のものを中心に和洋でバランス良く、優しい味でいろいろな物を食べれてとても美味しかったです。 ご主人と奥様（かな？）もとても感じ良くて素晴らしい宿。 敷地内の喫茶は土日しか営業してないとのことで残念でした。コーヒーも飲んでみたいです。 また機会があればぜひ泊まりたいです。 戸隠も自然豊かで涼しいしとても良いところだったのでまた素敵な場所を発見できて充実した夏休みになりました。

旅館是很美麗的日式建築，老闆一家很親切。房間很乾淨寬敞，走道也有清雅的裝飾。早晚餐很合我口味，是我這幾天吃最飽的一餐。這裡雖然不豪華，但適合到戶隱尋古探幽的心情。

歴史ある建物ですので、音や声が響きますが、私たちの他に一組しかおらず、ゆったり過ごせました。お食事も大変丁寧に盛り付けされており、ありがたく美味しく頂きました。特に、自家製のたくあんがポリポリして美味しかったです。 また伺いたいと思います。
