歌舞伎座わらび餅本舗

Located near higashi-ginza station, this find is really a blessing. Went hunting for warabi mochi, and many places in Google maps gave incorrect information. Several shops were quoted selling it , but went to those shops and was told they do not sell it. Some stalls do sell but they only have on the same day shelf life, means I have to eat it on the same day I buy it. But this stall has the sweetest staff, although she was not fluent in English, she made a lot of effort trying to understand me and explaining to me. The best thing, the shelf life is the next day, so works perfectly for me. And most importantly it was delicious! Really recommend this stall if you are looking for warabi mochi. Verified!

The stall is inside the gift/souvenir shop at B2. The warabimochi is truly the best one that I had so far (better than the Kamakura one imo).

It’s located inside the Basement of Kabukiza Tower as part of the small market. Your best option ist to use exit A2 of higashi ginza sta. The market is very quiet and there are not many people around. The Warabimochi were the best I ever had. We ate them from here at the restaurant next door as part of a Tea set. I can only recommend you to go there youself. I added some photos of the entrance. I visited a second time and ate the soft serve cup with Warabimochi which was also delicious.

My favorite dessert I had in Japan, the perfect sweetness especially with the molasses. Soft, fresh, and local. Highly recommend.

Seriously the best warabimochi ever. Go down the escalator to the basement and turn right (as per my photo) and look for the shop which is on the right side of the 7 Eleven.

歌舞伎座の地下でソフトクリームのイートインができます。わらび餅入りが無しかを選ぶ事が出来るので、わらび餅入りを選びました。ソフトクリームはあっさりしていて重くなく、わらび餅との相性もよくてとても美味しい。隣にいらっしゃったご婦人が、銀座に来たら必ず食べにくるほど好きなソフトクリームだとおっしゃっていました。わらび餅入りで500円、700円台になりますがきんつば入りもある様です。

東京メトロ日比谷線・都営浅草線 東銀座駅3番出口直結、歌舞伎座タワー地下･木挽町広場の奥の方にあるわらび餅屋さん 以前からこちらのソフトクリームが気になっていました 2025年11月の平日にはじめて利用しました 歌舞伎の公演時間中でしたので木挽町広場は空いていました ソフトクリームは、わらび餅やモナカをトッピングした、わらび餅カップをチョイスしました 店舗内に小さなスタンドテーブルがありそこでいただくことが出来ます わらび餅はカップ底に3個、上に2個乗っています 上から黒蜜がかけられ、隈取のモナカが歌舞伎座感を醸し出します ベースのソフトクリームは、北海道の美瑛牛乳をつかっているとのこと 甘さ控えめですっきりとしており、わらび餅とも良く合い非常に美味しいです このクオリティでこの場所で500円という価格は非常にリーズナブだと思います お店の方の対応もとても丁寧で優しく心地よかったです 歌舞伎座へは年に一度しか行く用事がないのですが、来年もまた寄ってみようと思っています
