I was worn out from traveling from Taipei to Tainan to Kaohsiung and finally to Hengchun. I needed a break. My head was killing me plus I was suffering from vertigo. This always happen when I do not get enough sleep plus getting stressed from all the traveling. Wanlitong is a small fishing village outside of another walled city called Hengchun. I was there on a March 6 to 7 2025. It was not a holiday or weekend. It was quiet and peaceful. My room was wonderful. From my front window I listened to the singing birds and the sound of waves crashing onto the coral rocks in front out Casa Hotel. This hotel has a cafe downstairs called Sea Turtle Cafe. It offers freshly baked treats plus various types of coffee. A nice breakfast came with my room. For me the price was high. But I needed a quiet rest. Wanlitong gave me a chance to recover. I had a long drive after I left Casa Ostia and Sea Turtle Cafe. If you can afford it I would recommend you to stay at Casa Ostia with its fabulous view of the ocean. They offer free parking on the streets.

Beautiful place to be with really friendly staff! The room is beyond my best expectations with a really stunning view! Great library of films available to watch in the evening too. Lastly the breakfast was really great and plentiful!

A beautifully furnished bed and breakfast with a quaint little cafe. We were passing by and was looking for a cool and quiet place for a coffee and for our toddler to nap after a warm morning by the sea. The cafe is usually only open to patrons but the kind owner and staff allowed us to sit in as his guests have not arrived yet, and even offered us iced tea and warm milk for our child. Superb hospitality! We would definitely consider staying here during our next trip.

This B&B is possibly the closest to the sea along the coast of Kenting! Fabulous sea view from the room and you can enjoy your breakfast on the balcony (TIP: only available for the top room!!). The sea is just IN FRONT OF YOU, if weather allows, you will be seeing the sunset from your room.||||View the sea at different time, listen to the wave, read a book, and sip some coffee. That's how one should spend time in Kenting, isn't it? You will definitely "get lost" to here if you are looking for the sound of wave - as its Chinese name suggested!||||Note: the room is the best for couples since the ENTIRE bathroom is transparent without any curtain - I mean... both the shower and toilet area...

This is my 2nd time visiting this place because I just love it. The place is in a quiet village and facing the sea, meaning you get a unbelievable sea view and perfect sunset view fm your balcony or you bathtub. And if you love describing, scuba diving or just snorkeling like me, this is a perfect place for you. But there is always a but... If you are very sound sensitive while sleeping, this might not for you because sea is just 5 steps away. Also if you don't drive or ride a scooter, you would feel trapped because it is a small village, so there is not much you can get a bite or drink. If none of those will be a problem, you will love this place, the location, the view, the spacious and well decorated and equipped room. It's pricey but it's just so exceptional.

Great! Lovely view! Fall asleep with the sound of waves, wake up with them... A dream! Nice cosy Caffè in the lobby! Super breakfast! 100% recommendable!

Love this B&B, love the view! ||although there will be no staff after 7pm, it's just so beautiful & quiet here!!!||It is not on the Main Street or near anything, but taxi is very easily available, only wish we could have stayed longer....

Loved this place! Didn't want to leave. Beautiful beautiful views, lovely decoration. Wow. A real peace of heaven. And our best breakfast in Taiwan.
