We recently spent a night in Korea with our family, and while the check-in process wasn’t as smooth as we’ve experienced at other hotels, a kind front desk staff member guided us to our room, and we were able to enjoy the unique atmosphere that set this hotel apart. Most importantly, our 30-month-old son loved it so much that we’d love to return when we visit Korea again.
One downside was that we wanted to try in-room dining but were unable to order the meal (Bansang) we wanted due to the ingredients being unavailable. While it’s understandable that fewer guests might result in less preparation, I feel that a five-star hotel should always have the dishes on the menu readily available.
On a positive note, the check-out experience was truly memorable. The staff member noticed our son and gave him a chance to feed the fish in the pond. It might have been a small gesture, but it was a highlight for our son during the trip. Our little one is a bit shy and couldn’t thank the kind lady in person, but I’d like to express our gratitude to the female front desk staff who was working around 11:30 AM on October 15th. I regret not catching her name.
Thank you for sharing the beauty and charm of Korea with us. We hope to return soon!
