Check-in, check-out||- Check-in starts from 3pm korea time, and check-out latest by 12pm||- You can deposit your luggage at the level 1 concierge before you check-in, and after you check-out, so that you can visit other places in Seoul after and before your flight respectively||||||||Staff||- The staff were polite, helpful and able to converse in English||- I want to commend a concierge staff who noticed that I dropped my phone in the Uber on Friday, 8 November, before he closed the door. Otherwise I would have lost my phone and memories inside it!||- I also want to commend a concierge staff who helped me get back into my room on Friday, 8 November morning. I left my room for a morning gym workout. After returning from my workout, my room was not allowing me to enter with my card. He helped to change to another card which worked.||||||Location||- The hotel is conveniently located near Sinnonhyeon Station, with Gangnam just around the area||- So you can visit places in Gangnam or other parts of Seoul very conveniently using the subway or train network||- To get to and from the hotel and the airport, you can use the (1) all station train network, (2) K-Limousine bus service which stops at the airport and Novotel Ambassador Seoul Gangnam hotel, (3) Uber or other types of taxi||||||Room||- Comfortable hotel room||- Besides coping with timezone differences, I had no trouble falling asleep. You can draw the curtains close to block out light, switch off the lights in your room, and fall asleep. The rooms are fairly soundproof even with vehicles driving past the street||- There are alot of light switches in the room to customise the lighting you want - eg Main room, bathroom, entrance, night lamps (beside your bed; 1 on each side)||- Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash, body lotions, and a hair dryer are available in the bathroom for use||- Shower and face towels are available and changed daily||- Bathroom entrance towel to dry your feet is available and changed daily||- Please bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste and facial care products||- Bathroom - Standing shower, bath tub, Toto toilet bowl. The Toto toilet bowl was great as I got to sit on a warm seat, with adjustable temperature settings. The bath tub was also great at the start and end of my trip, when I had time to spare and wanted to defrost myself now that we experience cold, windy weather in Seoul (November)||- Indoor slippers are provided and the housekeeping team changes them daily||- Bathrobe is provided if you wish to use, and the housekeeping team changes them daily||- 2 bottles of water. The housekeeping team maintains 2 bottles of water in your room daily||- Winsaf kettle for boiling water you get from the tap, 2 drinking cups with coaster, 1 microwave oven||- Hangers for your clothes, with an ironing board and iron||- Laundry is available on request, and requires additional fees||- Mini-bar items (ie. items placed above your kettle and in the mini fridge) require additional fees||- Power socket - The hotel has 2-pin round and 3-pin power sockets, with USB charging sockets as well. I did not need to use my power socket adapter||- Wireless charger - There is 1 wireless charger for your phone||- TV channels - You can watch Netflix, Disney and local korean TV shows, or listen to korean songs via the Melon app||- A leisure chair with a coffee table for reading||- A chair with rollers where you can sit to work on your laptop on the table||- Room temperature - My room was cold and I was not able to adjust the temperature higher than 26 degrees celsius, which would have been great on cold days||||||Facilities||- Breakfast on the second floor - 0630-1030 (with 1000 for the last entrance). Breakfast is buffet style, with fruits (eg watermelon, grapes, orange, apple, etc), cereals, bread, ham and bacon, different types of soups (at least 4 types of soups, eg cream of mushroom soup), small traditional korean food (eg dimsum, mandu/dumpling), eggs (scrambled, hard boiled, soft boiled, plus 1 special type of egg preparation daily eg tomato egg stir fry), salads, sausages, korean dishes (eg beef stir fry, salmon stir fry, beef bulgogi, etc), coffee and tea. There were so many dishes to try, with peppermint tea (the only non-caffeinated tea available) as a great cooling tea||- Gym on the third floor - 0600-2200. The gym was closed on the first monday of every month. You have free weights (dumbbells, 1 olympic bar at the bench press), 1 smith machine, stacked weight machines, 1 pullup & dips station, 1 decline bench, treadmills, cycling and elliptical machines. The gym was not crowded during the 2 times I visited - Sunday evening and Friday morning, so I was able to complete my workout without any challenges||- Swimming pool on the third floor. I did not have the time to laze around in the pool or the pool lounge chairs. Do check them out on the third floor if you are interested||- Level 1 lobby - The lobby has a few areas for you to sit or stand as you wait for others in your group to arrive
