This Novotel is very good Novotel standard, top within this hotel brand. It is a bit older, but very well maintained. The rooms are spacious in the chosen categories, very clean, excellent adjustable AC. Hot water in shower and tub is immediately present. For many arrangements a very good gym, spa and pool is included. The entrance hall is fantastic with the Eiffel tower in the bar, I get in and feel at home. It is one of my favorite hotels around the world within my travel budget, I stayed here frequently since 2018 and I will hopefully be back. I also enjoy the excellent breakfast and the very friendly and competent people working here from reception to room service.

Out of all the Accor hotels I've stayed in Asia, US and Australia - the customer service here was the most appaling. Maybe because the staff could not be bothered to be pleasant to a brown woman staying at their hotels - from the restaurant to the front desk, all their staff had long faces and looked like they couldn't care less about how they were serving me. This is the opposite of what you'd expect from a 5 star hotel. Would not recommend.

It was disappointing to find that prior arrangements had not been communicated to the front desk. These were initially refused, with little willingness to accommodate or find a solution. There was a clear lack of flexibility and consideration for the guest experience. Returning guests also receive little to no recognition, which is surprising. The rooms are noticeably outdated. The thermostat and control panel did not function properly, which made the stay uncomfortable and required a very late room change as the only available fix. Overall, this stay did not meet the standards expected from a professional and guest-oriented hotel. That said, the location is excellent and the facilities themselves offer good potential — it’s unfortunate the service and room experience did not match.

As a 5-star hotel, there’s no valet helping at the door, one staff member was standing there but I didn’t get any luggage help either when I arrived or when I left. Also, I can only ask for 3 bottles of water tops one day, which is unheard of. The staff were also not very warm and eager to help when I raise a request. Overall, I think the service level is not up to standard. Location is good. Pool is nice.

The room is decent in size for a single occupant person. Room is clean, bed was large and comfortable, air con perfect in temperature, including a desk for workspace, coffee maker, refrigerator was also available, bathrobes, hotel slippers, amenities available. Large television with many Korean networks. I just wish the shower had shelf space for my personal items. ||There are a total of 5 elevators, 3 on one side and 2 on the other. There was something strange about the middle elevator on the three sided one. It would make stops on floors that weren’t pressed, making you want to get off one of the floors to call another elevator.||What’s great about the hotel is that it is directly connected to the subway station, shopping mall filled with restaurants, shops and movie theater. You’re right in the middle of Seoul and just minutes away from Itaewon and all the nightlife that comes with it. ||There is a fitness center which I will try out on another visit. Breakfast buffet that is something my work colleagues have experienced and I’d like to try it out as well. I was on 15F with a gorgeous view of the city skyline. A coffee shop is conveniently located downstairs, and there is also a casino connected to the hotel. Safety is really important when staying at a hotel, I’ve found it that way. A very nice hotel for my first time to Seoul.

I was disappointed with my stay at this hotel for several reasons. First, the check-in time was quite late at 3:00 PM, which felt inconvenient, especially after a long journey. For a luxury hotel, I expected a much better breakfast selection, but the options were quite limited and didn’t meet the standards I anticipated. On a positive note, the pool and gym facilities were excellent and well-maintained. The room itself was just okay—nothing special, but comfortable enough. Overall, I expected more from a hotel of this caliber.

The staff js not helpful. When I use hairdryer for only 10 seconds it stops working so I call frontal. They said it’s too hot, but I mentioned I just start to use it for 10seconds. They just said they don’t have any extra hairdryer and not going to provide any other support……. My hair is totally wet!!!!!! This price with this service attitude and poor facility. Totally not recommend
