I got a mani and a pedi here. I was in fact late, so they needed me to pick something simpler for the nails because the flowers that come up would take too long (last photo is what I originally wanted). It was kind of weird because I really wanted the original set and in the end they said they could try, but as soon as I arrived, sat down, and they started the lady doing my nails said I had to find simpler. I would have preferred to reschedule or do just the pedicure rather than to feel roped into getting something done I didn’t want done. For such a popular company, I wouldn’t think they’d need to be so desperate to fill up every time slot. But regardless, I found this other design and I told her multiple times that I wanted 4 of the nails of this new design in place of the 4 nails with the flowers that come up. Because she had told me she could do the other nails in the original set. Yet even after telling her multiple times, she proceeded to do my entire nails like the other set, which is absolutely not what I wanted. And on top of that, the line work is messy especially on the bows, my left thumb especially looks terrible. And she didn’t even do 3/4 of the nails I had actually wanted from that set - she only did the bunny one. Some of the nails just look like a blob of colors with no real proper detail. & Once again, I had clearly showed her which ones I wanted with my fingers and I had said with my words I wanted those particular 4 in place of the flowers in the original set. Overall really bummed on them because they were for my birthday and I spent a decent amount on them. Maybe she simply misunderstood me but I’m still disappointed. That same lady also kept going on her phone frequently in the middle of everything - and this is times where she absolutely could be doing something and both my hands were dry. Both poor service and quality. It would’ve been nice if she at least got up if she needed a quick break rather than laugh at her phone right next to me. Felt very unprofessional. The person who did my toenails did excellent though and I’m very happy with those. And the person at the front desk was very friendly. I doubt I would go back but I’ll appreciate my toenails as long as they last. I have very high standards, and I was expecting more from a company that has done nails for celebrities.
