"A friend once explained to me that the best way to manage hot weather is with more heat. This explains a peak-summer trek to Killer Noodle Tsujita in 90 degree weather. While testing out this theory, I ordered Killer Noodle’s signature dan dan Tokyo-style noodles at spice level three, while my companion opted for the second spiciest level. Both bowls were perfect with its chicken and pork broth, sesame, piping hot chili oil, and noodles. The test proved inconclusive though, as my dining companion continued to sweat in the West LA heat, while my forehead remained clear." - Eater Staff
