The high school seniors cruise around town and meet up at the local burger joint, Top Notch, before heading to the next kegger. Open since 1971, the drive-thru was also featured in director Brian Robbins’s football comedy/drama Varsity Blues. The restaurant served as the workplace of sassy sweetheart Jules Harbor (Amy Smart), the Southern girlfriend of protagonist Jonathan “Mox” Moxon (played by James Van Der Beek).
