"This Bucktown bar is owned by a pair of couples who have created a welcoming and intimate space with thoughtful cocktails. Truce is a breath of fresh air inside a rebuilt space along Damen Avenue. Though the mixology is impressive, with an array of sophisticated ingredients, the space sports several dive bar attributes — folks who don’t like fancy cocktails will still find it comfortable and they just might be tempted to try something new.
