Inko Nito Lands Big New Skewer Restaurant Along Busy West Third Street - Eater LA
"Bustling West Third Street just got a whole lot hotter, with the addition of fire-friendly dinner spot Inko Nito. The mellow evening space opens on one of the city’s busiest dining stretches on Saturday. Inside, Inko Nito carries somewhat the same look at the Downtown original. This Zuma group project was designed by Studio MAI to be a flagship for the company, with open views into all the grilling, plus streamlined light wooden tables and chairs. There’s a bit of lush greenery hanging around and some bold neon signage out front, but mostly this is the kind of place to hang out with too many friends and too many skewers, cocktail in hand. As for the food, LA’s newest robatayaki spot features plenty of those flame-licked protein skewers, but also swings into dishes like a Dungeness crab tartare, panko-fried chicken, and a tight collection of sides like soups and salads. A little bit of dessert touches of the dense menu, and there’s a whole other section for beer, wine, sake, and spirits. The opening lunch and dinner/drinks menus are below. Inko Nito officially opens Saturday along West Third Street, marking the company’s second location after the Arts District original. There are also plans to potentially land a more club-focused Zuma somewhere in the city soon enough, but that’s still in the works. In the meantime, expect hours from 12 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, with an extension to 11:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday night. Brunch will come down the line." - Farley Elliott
