"Coming in at a compact 150 square feet on the 30th Street corridor, this new bottle shop opened Thursday, September 16 and acts like an oasis in a neighborhood drenched in craft beer, timed to coincide with North Park’s weekly afternoon farmers market. Dedicated to small-batch gin and natural wine, the collection—assembled by spirits buyer Erin Rea alongside the Rose’s wine pros Chelsea Coleman and certified sommelier Alicia Davis—features terroir-driven gins and hard-to-find bottles such as a Japanese gin flavored with real mandarin oranges and a cashew-infused Indian gin, plus natural wines from Mediterranean-climate regions including the San Diego area, South Africa, Australia, France, and Italy. The shop offers a quarterly gin-and-tonic club priced at $75 (the first run features Ebra Gin, includes an in-person tasting with its distiller, and comes with a complimentary tote) and currently stocks drink-friendly snacks like marinated olives and nuts as well as baguettes from Secret Sister." - Candice Woo
