"Opening at 2035 Diamond Boulevard in the Veranda Center, Puesto Concord will greet its first customers on Sunday, November 11. The 7,500-square-foot indoor-outdoor space, designed by San Diego’s Paul Basile of BASILE Studio with murals by Bay Area graffiti artist Chor Boogie, seats 250 and features patio space divided from the main dining room by hydraulic windows. As at the Santa Clara location, bartenders work with a liquor carousel with kneeling shelves that present bottles without ladders. Owner Eric Adler says every new spot is “the best one yet,” and the restaurant emphasizes the space as part of a memorable experience as much as the food: expect flashy items such as filet mignon tacos with melted cheese, avocado, and pistachio serrano on blue corn tortillas from LA’s Kernel of Truth Organics, and table-side ribeye carne asada sizzled on lava rock inspired by Mexico City street-side cooking. After opening, hours will be Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m." - Caleb Pershan
