Hungry Crumbs Review - Soma - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"Thanks to the Vacant to Vibrant program, SoMa now has a cookie shop you should go out of your way to try. The takeout-only bakery serves nine-ish flavors of soft, stuffed cookies. For traditionalists, there’s chocolate chip. And for baked good nonconformists, there’s a version filled with lemon curd, another cosplaying as banana bread, and one that’s an ode to the viral knafeh chocolate bar (of which you can only order one per customer). Every hand-sized cookie teeters on being too sweet and rich, but doesn't quite get there. Still, it's a feat to finish one by yourself. We suggest ordering a box, which comes with a half dozen cookies and will set you back $35, and taking the five-minute walk to Salesforce Park to try a little of each flavor." - Patrick Wong
