"Guest: Julie Bowen “My husband used to have an office right next to Republique, and my manager used to work in that same building, so I was always in that area. I would always go for breakfast. So it was nice to go for a different meal during the day. Republique has incredible pastries, but the thing is, they run out very quickly. So we did call ahead and ask them to reserve some of their favorite pastries for us so that Julie and I could try some of them later in the day. This is a special episode because it was my very first, with Julie Bowen, who I feel incredibly comfortable with. I did not know what I was doing. I haven't gone back to listen to this episode at all because I'm afraid to hear the growing pains that I was probably having in this episode. But I have fond memories of that meal and Julie making it so easy on me. And I do remember the pastries being incredible and sharing something that we thought was gonna be a kiwi croissant because we were misunderstanding them. And it was a kouign-amann.
