Div 2: Hollywood

I do NOT think you should go anywhere else after wine and two walks but *if you are feeling it* you should go to Figaro and get one of the outdoor tables and get actually hammered or blitzed on coffee. It's french so it's good.

Los feliz is Hollywood stop acting like it's not. Do you have a bottle of wine? Be a lot cooler if you did. If you are smelly there is nowhere better to go than the Barnsdall art Park because there are flowers and a breeze and you can look at a Frank Lloyd Wright home from the outside with no fear of having to pay to go inside. Nobody wants to be in smelly gym clothes in what is technically a museum. Eat at the top under the trees, look at the outside of the house, go on a big walk to burn off the wine and noodles and watch the other people who think they're as sober as you think you are.

Boat Noodles. You want the Boat noodles. Do you know how to eat soup without it spilling everywhere? You both will find out. Either way, you want the boat noodles. Get an extra and take it home. You can eat here if you didn't sweat too much but you can also go to Barndall

You're gonna have to figure out how to get to the southern entrance via google but it's worth it. They finally updated the parking situation and the drive up is cool. Going for sunset if possible is incredible lighting both on the drive and on the walk. On days when the sun sets late you just need to get in 20 minutes before they shut the gate to have the place to yourselves. Be very nice to the security and expect to wait by a locked gate for him to come by and let you out at the end. Classic spot where if things go south at least you get a photo op.

I understand the irony of starting at Griffith to go to the Res but it's got a ton of parking and "fits a theme?" or whatever. Trails is nice and good and an improv comedian you recognize will be there. Get coffee and carpool to the Res from here.
