Dude, Zippy's is like their McDonalds, but has everything I want. I think they have a meal that's like fried chicken, fried fish, beef and Spam with rice T_T

V unassuming place, but this was really good poke too

I remember this being SUPER good. It's cafeteria style where you can get a bowl of udon + a bunch of tempuras, whatever's on display

They sell malasadas (Hawaiian donuts?). They were SO good. I loved the custard and haupia ones

This was really good, but you have to love butter and garlic lol

I think this was my fave poke of the trip - it's just a supermarket, and you buy it by weight! We got it on the way to North Shore

Probably the most touristy hike, but worth going to for the view?

Drive up to the North Shore and watch surfers (or try it yourself, I was too chicken)

More of a jungle/forest hike, super recommend! It's beautiful there.

We stayed at an Airbnb near this beach and it was awesome. Feels super quiet + private. We also did the Lanikai Pillbox Trail which is a great hike!
