Le Rock Goes Long on Midtown | The New Yorker

"Le Rock, perhaps the buzziest of a collection of buzzy new restaurants in Rockefeller Center. Its upmarket menu features items like forty-five-dollar caviar dip, five-dollar-per-ounce côte de boeuf, and three house Martinis at twenty-six dollars each. The four-thousand-square-foot dining room is part of a ravishing Art Deco building, with terrazzo floors, a bronze bar, and inlaid mahogany. The executive chef is Walker Stern, offering a menu that doesn't pander but does ramble. Notable dishes include dressed crab, bison au poivre, and a unique twist on baba au rhum." - Hannah Goldfield
