Surrounded by many patches of grass, it’s a great spot to sit and have lunch, read a book, or even walk your dog! The fountain was formally known as the Rear Admiral Samuel Francis Dupont Memorial Fountain. The fountain replaced a statue of Samuel Francis Du Pont, a prominent American naval officer."
