On the Grid : Novel

"Owner and Chef Ryan Brazeal opened Novel as a way to present simple, but elevated food to the Kansas City market. The unique venue is candle lit and clad in aged woods, making it about as cozy as you can get. It doesn’t matter what you order, you just can’t make a bad choice when everything is perfect. The celery bisque with lumpy crab is a fan favorite as well as the Duroc Pork Chop. The Crudo is pretty spectacular too…you should probably just order a bunch of stuff and come back later for what you can’t order. I recommend eating on the patio if you can. It’s lovely." - Rachel Sleeter
