On the Grid : Parliament Hill Lido

"First opened in 1938, this unheated open air pool is a popular destination for many during the summer for those who favour brick and concrete over the more natural surroundings of the ponds. But be warned, it can get very busy with long queues on those rare hot, sunny days. The pool - measuring 200 x 90 foot - is open in the mornings during the winter months but you’d have to be brave to take the plunge." - Chrissie Macdonald & Andrew Rae
