"The owners of this stall-turned-storefront do just one thing, and they have it down pat. Marinated nuggets of Spanish mackerel are breaded and deep fried, then left to drain. Customers can pick between having it with a tangle of mian (wheat noodles), mǐ fen (rice-flour vermicelli), or just the fish in soup. Only after an order has been placed is the soup — thickened with cornstarch and flavored with a squirt of black vinegar — poured over the fish, which arrives at the table perfectly plump and flaky. Open: 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily. Price: from $60 TWD ($2 USD) Directions: From here, make your way to Hai’an Road. Nicely done mackerel starchy soup. Fish is fresh, crisp light batter, then drenched in flavourful soup. Overall a nicely assembled taste profile great for breakfast. Option to accompany the soup with additional fritters. Friendly owners =)

Fried king mackerel noodle soup is my best love amongst Tainan tapas. Unlike traditional Tainan’s fried king mackerel noodle soup, this place does not taste as sweet. Price is reasonable, given king mackerel population is declining year over year like speed of high speed rail. Global warming has changed their migration pattern and killed their breeding ground - coral reefs.

真的是台南味 一早9點就來吃了 不到中午會賣光 台北真的沒有這個味也沒有這個量 要先抽號碼牌👍再等叫號 吳先生從小的好滋味沒變過 粉不會太多 也算新鮮 好好吃🤤

台南有名的小吃之一𩵚魠魚羹 從小媽媽會買土魠魚羹給我們吃 這算是我還小時的回憶了 台南有非常多的𩵚魠魚羹小吃攤 這裡靠近水萍塭公園，停車不太難 可以內用也可以外帶 我買了兩碗小的土魠魚羹 加上辣椒以及一點醋⋯風味不錯👌 你也可以單點炸𩵚魠魚喔！

湯頭一樣是南部口味勾芡稠稠狀態，但是好吃不會死甜，和麻豆市場有名的土魠魚麵比起來，麻豆的略甜，呂記的土魠魚也是現炸起鍋，炸油清澈乾淨，店員服務態度很好👍🏻，不過是外帶還是內用都要抽號碼牌！旁邊剛好是保安市場，吃飽可以逛逛！

湯頭是古早味偏甜的羹，濃郁且回味，沾著湯汁的酥脆肉塊，可以凸顯肉塊的美味，多加半斤的肉塊來加料，可以吃的過癮，可以試看看。
