This is the best restaurant in Barcelona, Spain!!!! We just ate Manager's choice and every dishes was so delicious!! Especially service was so nice and friendly!!

Probably more like 3.5, but not a 4. Quiet little place with friendly hosts, but was a bit of an odd dining experience. Only 2 tables that night (a Thursday in early July) when we were in, asked what we wanted to eat before we saw a menu, didn't get the correct starter (though I conceded the Iberian ham i had was no doubt vastly tastier than the ham croquettes I'd actually ordered). They were gracious enough to explain what many of the things on the menu were (to the point they brought out stuff on plates to show it). Felt a bit hap hazard, odd location (no views, we were actually next to a window that was covered in a mosaic type thing so couldn't see out. The food itself varied a lot - some of it was absolutely delicious, but I think that any downside on the food was more just a matter of taste. Everything was very fresh etc. Spanish/Catalan/Med food in general not my favourite. Still, nice night, a good bottle of wine and I left content. Not too pricey, but by no means cheap either. We didn't see a whole lot else to choose form around that area so I think it's probably still recommended.

I gave this place 5 out of 5 for two main reasons. First was the sangria. Possibly the best sangria I've ever had!!! Second was the owners and the wait staff. I felt like we were invited to dinner at their house. They were so accommodating and attentive and we had such a good time enjoy the culture and the food.

Awesome place, hidden and out of the way. Just a few other diners when we had dinner. Food awesome, service awesome, local wine awesome. Staff was very helpful, especially with suggesting the sea bass special for the evening. Our first time in Barcelona, first night for dinner and it set the trip off in a great way.

A hidden gem, indeed, in Les Cortes, Barcelona. Loved the presentation and taste! The lentil and chorizo hot appetizer was wonderful. Iberian ham to die for. Tomato salad with hot pepper - very tasty ! Seared tuna - wonderful too. I also had a dish with meat and white beans that was very delicious. Love the experience and would recommend this restaurant to want to try real Spanish / Catalan foods. Have fine!

Was invited to dine for lunch before FC Barcelona match. Make a reservation and go. It's worth it.

This unassuming little restaurant is a hidden gem in the Les Cortes area of Barcelona. A friend stumbled upon this place after our medical meeting at the nearby Palacio de Congres on Avenue Diagonal. He described how each dish was excellent and our observations were the same. My veal was an inch thick steak both tender and delicious. Various fish entrees were had by several of our party and all were excellent. Is it fancy? No, rather plain. It is a very short walk from the Les Cortes metro station on the green line. Yes, you can hear the motorcycles zoom by outside but for honest, excellent food at a reasonable price, I have to give it 4 stars. Considering price, it would be a 5 star.
