"At 10 Tib Lane, a three-floor Victorian beauty tucked near Albert Square, you can snuggle into each other and modern European dishes on the cosy top floor, but we love the ground-level bar for the daily happy hour from 4-6pm. The miracle of a Friday happy hour draws a wonderfully mixed crowd: you’re as likely to see young families as you are early dates and long-married couples dressed like their dogs dozing under the bar stools. The menu changes seasonally but recent favourites include the Sour Berry Negroni and the seductive Irish Coffee with a velvety blanket of cold near-zabaglione over warm salted whiskey. Came here for a belated birthday celebration last night and it was everything and more. We were so looked after from all the staff, it was honestly such a wonderful night. We ordered everything from oysters, cocktails and the best Porchetta Sunday roasts and desserts. Everything was just incredible and we are already planning a return visit. Thank you so much to everyone at 10 Tib Lane for looking after us- you've made my birthday super special!

Wasn't sure where to have lunch today, but remembered 10 Tib Lane from a visit last year. So glad we did!! A short menu which changes every few weeks. The food was delicious - Sourdough, Beignets, Pickled Mackerel followed by a shared Dairy Cow Ribeye with a side of new potatoes. When it was served we realised we hadn't ordered any greens, so the Chef rushed some through for us - great service. Finally a very good Treacle Tart. Service from all the staff was excellent but Lucia in particular stood out. We won't be leaving it so long again!

I love it here. I come all the time for food and/or drinks. Every time the staff and experience is brilliant. The cocktails are unique and inventive. They also do happy hour on the cocktails and oysters! Food is lovely and creative too. They change the menus seasonally, which means you get to try lots of different stuff each time you visit.

In with a group of six for a birthday. We were so well looked after, excellent service especially by Rebecca, informal and professional. Had pretty much the whole menu, a delish variety of oysters, mussels, veg, fish, charcuterie, cooked meats. Every dish as good as the other, great flavours, textures, colours. Cocktails downstairs in the bar to start, negronis recommended. Love the darkish lighting, adds to the atmos. Couldn’t fault anything. Really looked after us and made the birthday special. Highly recommended, will be back. Thanks

I visited 10 Tib Lane on a weekend break with my wife and it was fantastic. A charming, intimate venue, the service was great, and our roast beef dinner was both generous and delicious. The Yorkshire's and gravy were spot on. Amazing cocktails too, I can't wait to try another Toscana.

Came for happy hour oysters and cocktails. Very good quality cocktails, (oysters very small, not great) however, the minute you’re on your last sip you will be asked if you want another drink. Given it’s such a small space downstairs in the bar area, you should allow customers to enjoy their drinks leisurely. It feels very pressured and rushed. Waiting staff had very limited knowledge of the wines, which is disappointing considering the price point. Regarding the atmosphere, there were waiting staff distracted by and chatting to off duty staff members (we overheard them and realised this). There are improvements to be made, service wise.

Fabulous experience for my birthday dinner. I am still thinking about the whole experience a week later. I had two cocktails which tasted fresh and delicious. I would recommend the 'Have you ever?'. The service was great. Staff were friendly and explained the menu in a lovely way. The food was delicious. We started with some oysters and then had five plates between two. I had dessert because I really wanted to try the rhubarb and custard tart. I am glad I did. Thank you for a great evening and making it worth getting a babysitter :-)
