The Best Waterfront Dining in Palm Beach County | Eater Miami

"Part private club and part restaurant, 1000 North isn’t just famous because Michael Jordan is a part-owner. With expansive water views looking out on the Loxahatchee River and the Jupiter lighthouse, 1000 North is known for a menu as sleek and refined as its interior design. Think dishes like sea bass with clams, bacon lardons, shitake mushrooms, and miso broth or Dijon-crusted prime rib with French onion au jus, horseradish creme fraiche, and truffle salt. For those who want to pull up by boat, there’s a 350-foot dock available." - J. Miller

Tried 1000 North for a business meeting, the place is beautiful inside , the service was amazing, the food was delicious and the drinks on point. They have valet service and is well located by the water, if you early enough you can walk around and check the marina.

If you know you know. And judging by the amount of reviews, a lot of people know. We came here to sample the Flavors of South Florida menu. We were super excited to come because of the reputation and we were not disappointed. The dining room is beautiful, the views of the water are stunning, and the service wonderful. I ordered the Crab Spaghetti Alla Chitarra for my entree. It was garlicky and buttery in all the good ways. My wife had the Petite Filet Mignon and it was cooked just right with a bit of a crust and pink, but not too pink, in the middle This is a great spot for special occasions and celebrations. It’s not gonna be affordable for most to dine on the regular, but thanks to Flavors of South Florida, more can enjoy and savor the experience

B r u n c h / L u n c h / D i n n e r 🍾 I love coming to 1000 North—it’s truly one of my favorite brunch spots! Whether it’s a casual catch-up with friends or a special occasion, it’s always the perfect choice. I can honestly say I’ve never been disappointed with anything I’ve ordered here. A few of my go-to favorites: • Ahi Tuna Poke • Avocado Toast • Shrimp cocktail • Truffle fries The food is consistently delicious, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the service is always on point. I also highly recommend checking out their social hour menu—it’s not only tasty but also more affordable than most places in the area. Always a great experience!

Beautiful atmosphere, terrific service, friendly staff. We enjoyed celebrating our son's 30th birthday. Every dish was a masterpiece. Crab cakes, scallops, shrimp dishes and salads all delicious. Presentation was perfect. Highly recommend.

Google
My favorite restaurant ever!!! The wagyu filet mignon has the most amazing flavor and am so grateful for the gluten free options. Everyone is professional and friendly. The restaurant runs smoothly and the food is always nothing short of amazing. I’ve been here multiple times and have never had anything short of a great experience. Thank you!!

Google
I actually enjoyed the limited Sunday brunch menu, and Limited Sunday lunch menu… I found the food to taste average or slightly above, presentation was definitely above average, the snapper on top of a Caesar salad was very dry. No comparison to JUPITER Hills… Which I find to be five star. Brunch was delicious, the wait staff more than accommodating, atmosphere just average.

I loved my evening out. The food and service were exceptional. Ambiance was breathtaking. 1000 North is highly recommended and we will definitely return. We had French onion soup, crab cakes as appetizers then sea bass, snapper, and lobster Mac and cheese. We loved every bite.

If I could leave 10 stars I would. From the moment Megan took my call and helped booked my reservation I knew this place was something special. Steve P was in charge of our table and he was absolutely phenomenal. World class experience from beginning to end and I’m very picky when it comes to customer service. The sommelier Aleks is super knowledgeable, attentive and a master of her craft. Chef Jeff has a perfect menu and even came out in person to shave a white truffle on my wife’s plate and wish her a happy birthday. Best restaurant I’ve been to outside of NYC and I’m going back to when NYC was actually a respectable city. Worth every penny! I wish I could dine here every night.

Yelp
I had an outstanding experience at 1000 North in Jupiter, thanks in large part to the exceptional service provided by Jorge, the sommelier. His knowledge, professionalism, and passion for wine truly elevated our evening. Our waitress, Cynthia, was equally amazing. She was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed from start to finish. Her coordination with the rest of the team ensured everything flowed perfectly throughout our meal. The food was also outstanding. Beautifully prepared, flavorful, and presented with great care. Every course was memorable. If you're dining at 1000 North, you'll be in excellent hands with Jorge and Cynthia They made our night unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Yelp
I would give them 10 if I could. Shout out to the management team here, because they have set the standards of what all others should emulate. I have been here at least a half dozen times but never truly recognized how unparalleled they are. Service, from the hostess to the waitstaff, outstanding. The atmosphere speaks for itself, something for everyone, whether you enjoy dining at the bar, sitting down in their main room, or snagging a table outdoors along the waterfront. Quality of food: exceptional. This visit we enjoyed the Hamachi Tiradito, one of my staple favorites in Japanese restaurants, prepared in an untraditional flare, and by far the best version I've ever tasted! Dover sole, fresh, light grill, delish! But the Short Rib Tortelloni, just wow. Tender, succulent, and just enough pasta to not make me feel stuffed. Excellent, and highly recommend, although for a man with a bigger appetite, you might want to choose this as a shared appetizer dish. Thank you to our server, Paige, for the birthday treat. You're a delight. Highly, highly recommend. I may have to be more discerning in restaurant reviews going forward. THIS is what a five-star restaurant is. Most others drop the ball one way or the other.

Yelp
I've been to 1000 North once before for an anniversary dinner and loved it but never got around to leaving a review. This time we went for Thanksgiving, and it was perfect. They seated us right away the servers were on top of it. Though a bit loud because of the holiday, it was still very upscale and classy. The food was fabulous. I got the crab cake and Thanksgiving classic dinner special. The special came with Turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, veggies, collard greens, and mashed potatoes. My mother in-law got the same as I did, and my husband got the beef short rib Bourgogne special. We finished our meal off with the pumpkin tres leches and the s'mores bubble waffle, which were both rich and excellent. While you can't get all of these options on a regular day, I would recommend 1000 north for any special occasion or holiday.

Yelp
Perfect spot for a fun date night!! Service is really fun and friendly, lots of light in the restaurant with several seating options (inside and outside, tables and bar seating), and a solid selection of food!! We ordered a bottle of Malbec- and I'd like to point out the sommelier was fantastic. We told him what we liked for red wine, he brought over several tastings, including one he wanted us to try (a blind tasting), and we ended up picking what he had suggested to start with. He was very patient with us and helped out find the perfect wine for our meal, I really appreciated him. For dinner we ordered the bourbon & hay roasted oysters, wedge salad, mashed potatoes, and the filet mignon Oscar style (with bearnaise sauce and crab). The flavor of the oysters wasn't my favorite (too smoky for me), but I enjoyed the texture of the baked oysters (I don't eat them raw) - my partner loved the flavor though, and said they're definitely worth a try! The mashed potatoes were buttery and creamy (some of the best I've ever had), and the filet was tender and juicy. The lava cake they surprised us with to celebrate my partner's birthday was delicious- perfectly cooked with hot lava in the center once the cake was cut into! Chocolate paired perfectly with the scoop of coffee ice cream. I really enjoy the food here, the ambiance, and the service, and would definitely return!!

Cayla K.

Yelp
First time trying this restaurant. We came to celebrate my friend getting a promotion. The service was on excellent, everyone was so nice and helpful. We got the steak tartare and it was worth every penny! I did a filet mignon 8 ounce. Very good. Would love to come back and try more. Definitely a pricey place though, so be ready to spend some money!

Yelp
I had my anniversary dinner here and the service and food were both incredible. We started off with the shrimp cocktail which came with 5 jumbo shrimp which was served on ice with sauce Louie (SO GOOD) and cocktail sauce. For entres we had filet mignon topped with a blue cheese crust (one of the best filets I've had). The sides were shareable so we got the Yukon gold potato purée and the creamed corn brûlée. Both sides were very tasty. You could definitely get away with sharing one side but we wanted to try both. They kindly brought us a complementary brownie for our anniversary which was a nice touch! I would definitely recommend 1000 North for a nice night out.

Yelp
Go try this place before they get their Michelin star and you can't get a reservation. There are literally not words for how great and how fun this restaurant is. Joe was the best server and did such a great job taking care of us. It was my birthday and he went out of his way to make it so special. The food was incredible- the wagyu steak was the best thing I have ever tasted. The drinks were phenomenal and the ambience was excellent. It's a large venue with plenty of seating but what I personally appreciated was the sound control. The place was full but I could still have great conversation with everyone at the table. I was so impressed and cannot wait to come back.

Kylie L.

Yelp
Came here for our 3rd anniversary dinner and left pretty disappointed. For what they charge for the food, it should have been excellent. Some of the nicest restaurants in the country don't charge $80 for an ok 8oz filet mignon. Seafood tower was average. Sides were undercooked and the service was weird. Never at a "fine dining" restaurant have we been so aggressively upsold. Every time the waiter to the table he pressured us to buy more drinks. After we said no repeatedly, he literally rolled his eyes at me not wanting to order an espresso martini for dessert after I'd already had two cocktails. We also ordered a crème brûlée for dessert - we are totally not ones to ask for free stuff ever as we think it's tacky, but if you spend an anniversary at a fine dining restaurant, every experience we've had they usually comp a dessert or a drink. This place brought over a soggy crouton sized piece of tres leches cake with a couple berries. Again, we don't expect free/comped items at restaurants but every anniversary we've gone to super nice restaurants (halls chophouse in Charleston, steak 44 in Scottsdale etc.) and they've done something nice like that for celebrating at their establishment. Service was weird and uncomfortable, food was average, drinks were decent but not worth $25/cocktail in FL. Don't waste your time, just go to Palm beach to you want fine dining with top tier service and food

Yelp
Went here for my birthday dinner and it did not disappoint. The ambiance is perfect for a date night or group setting. Many couples just like us were enjoying a date night. Service was great as they had multiple waiters checking in. They started us with bread and took our drink orders. My boyfriend found his new favorite drink in their baked manhattan. We started with the ahi tuna poke and split the crab cake and steak for dinner. They even brought me a birthday celebration dessert.

Yelp
This place is absolutely phenomenal and shoutout to Beckham for the great service! This is an upscale spot and they know what they are doing! The food is incredible and so is the service and the ambiance. Even the bathrooms are really nice. Everyday from 5-7 if you sit at the bar they have discounted bar bites so I highly recommend doing that and getting the burger for $17 and adding bacon for $3 so you're getting an upscale burger for $20. Great deal! Prawn cocktail is also delicious and comes with 6 prawns for $18. Checkout all the pictures I posted in my review and I highly recommend this place. I will be coming back!

Yelp
We had a reservation, pulled up to valet, walked into the beautiful restaurant and were seated immediately by a friendly host. The restaurant is gorgeous- , set right on the water, lots of beautiful boats and scenery. Our waitress was very nice, professional, and so friendly. And- I should've taken pictures- I thought I did, but I did not. Definitely picture worthy but unfortunately I didn't take any... I started out with the tomato bisque- only had one size - a bowl, so I split it. It was very tasty, really good flavor. They brought out some amazing rolls to start with - and, dipped in the bisque was delicious!!! I had the tuna roll, my husband and another friend had the burger, and our fourth guest had the quiche. The quiche looked amazing, and I kinda had food envy. My tuna roll was good, but there wasn't much tuna in it. The burgers were delicious as well as the quiche. The scenery was great. The environment was great. All of our servers were amazing, and the food was really good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
I took my wife to 1000 North in Jupiter to celebrate a birthday recently. This was our first time to this restaurant, and we dined on the Terrace overlooking the water with the Jupiter Lighthouse in the distance. Our server was Carolyn, and she was so accommodating and helpful. All of the staff that we interacted with were efficient and friendly. Dinner was delicious and a special seasonal drink from the bar was excellent. Carolyn made the occasion even more special.

Yelp
I was here for a rehearsal dinner before a family wedding and it was overall a wonderful experience. Ambiance was nice - although very hot outside, they brought out multiple AC units situated around our group to ensure we were comfortable. Food was tasty - I got the yellow tail snapper, Brussel sprouts, spinach and Ceasar salad (the Ceasar salad had Mexican style corn which I never had before - yum!). And the service was attentive. We had a wonderful evening with the family and I'm sure we will all be back.

Yelp
1000 North is upscale restaurant in Jupiter that offers a refined dining experience featuring expertly prepared, high-quality dishes in a beautiful, elegant setting. While the menu may not be groundbreaking, the focus on simple, fresh ingredients results in delicious, satisfying meals. The restaurant also boasts an impressive selection of beverages, seafood, and meats. However, the premium pricing means this is likely best suited for special occasion dining. Overall, it's a venue worth checking out for those seeking a sophisticated night out. It can be on the more expensive side, There is valet parking available.
google avatar

Kurt L.

Yelp
Was just here for dinner yesterday. In the restaurant's efforts to make the salad extravagant, they missed the basic elements to what makes a good wedge salad. The crab in the "lump crab artichoke" was not fresh. I'm not really sure why this is a good dish idea to begin with. The drinks were good. The entertainment, out in the patio, was great. The food is not desirable. I keep talking myself out of just ordering a hamburger for some reason.

Yelp
Birthday Review My first visit to 1000 North did not disappoint! First of all, I was celebrating my 44th on this visit and the food rose to the occasion! The view of the Jupiter Lighthouse that we took in at entrance was gorgeous (especially at sunset when we arrived). We were welcomed by the hostesses immediately and seated at our reserved table right away. (If I had to tick off one thing it would be that our table was in the middle of the dining floor. But the view was great from our table--of the waterfront and of the open kitchen. ‍ Our server was just fine. Nothing spectacular. But the service team truly shined! The runners, the floor manager, and other support staff were pleasant, professional and attentive. Water was never low, dishes were cleared in a timely manner, and left overs were bagged up right away. I must say I thought Texas Roadhouse was the bread champion of all dining establishments. But 1000 North took that title on my birthday! The bread had butter brushed on top, course salt on top, and truffle butter for spreading! Ohhh my gosh! So good! Just mind blowing! We ordered a wedge to split--glad I didn't change my mind because I was almost about to--that dang thang was a special kinda delicious!! Pancetta, pickled onions; the nuances were beautiful additions to the traditional wedge. Entrees were 1. Colorado Lamb Chops with a pistachio and goat cheese crust and a cherry based sauce underneath. 2. Ribeye with traditional bordelaise sauce. Sides were crispy Brussels sprouts and a spicy street corn dish that I don't recall the name of. (See photos) We opted out of desert because we had dessert at home! I'm pretty sure I would have enjoyed one of the dessert selections but, none of them really jumped out at me. (We'll see next time!) Tips: dress nice, ask for where you wanna be seated ( they have outside seating, inside bar seating with live music, and dining room seating), and come during sunset for the spectacular view! Another review giving it to you straight no chaser! Enjoy!

Yelp
First time here. After the fantastic meal we enjoyed, I wish I lived closer. The place is great. Enjoyed the atmosphere, nice, modern, not stuffy. Service from Diane F was excellent. Menu only an entrée portion of Crab Cakes (2), so shared an order and they split it very nicely in the kitchen. Loved the Crab Cake and followed with Rack of Lamb, perfect. Wines by the glass were nice, nice wine glasses too. As another recent post stated, the Rolls they serve are really terrible. Agree with the sentiment that it doesn't fit in with the overall amazing quality and execution of every other dish we enjoyed. Certainly an easy fix. Perhaps a playground for the wealthy, but accessible to all and very welcoming. Love it here! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Yelp
Fun sometimes it's just fun to go get a cup of coffee and a fantastic desert, with a great view of the inter coastal in the evening, you can't beat the great service and lovely food at 1000 north whether dinner or just a simple desert .

Yelp
Great spot for date night and to catch the sunset! The service was impeccable and the restaurant ambiance in the bar area was superb.
google avatar

Amanda A.

Yelp
Great happy hour. During high season I suggest going early or you may not find a spot to even order. There is indoor and outdoor bars for happy hour. The food was amazing, drinks were made just right. Service was friendly and fast. The endless summer drink was my favorite.
google avatar

Fareena T.

Yelp
Had a nice experience at 1000 N. in Jupiter. The service was excellent--attentive and professional, which made the visit enjoyable. The food was good, though I was hoping for a bit more variety on the menu. Overall, it's a lovely spot, but a broader selection would make it even better!
google avatar

Lori L.

Yelp
Absolutely lovely place to enjoy lunch with friends. Welcoming and friendly environment with delicious food. We did spinach dip, salmon poke, the hot dog and salad with garlic shrimp. Excellent all around. Great service, a bit on the pricey side but a memorable meal
google avatar

Nicole K.

Yelp
Exceeded my expectations! Wonderful service, beautiful views and delicious steak! We both got the pre-fix - creamy whipped mashed potatoes, filet cooked perfectly and my favorite were the Brussel sprouts!
google avatar

Cristina P.

Yelp
Run don't walk!! You do not want to miss the Summer Social Hour at 1000 North! From 5 pm to 7 pm daily, indulge in $12 signature cocktails and specials on wine/beer. Make sure to treat yourself to an array of mixed appetizers priced between $10 to $16. My recommendation is the Chicken Lollipops with an irresistible Asian glaze paired with creamy blue cheese--a mouthwatering combination! For those seeking a burst of flavor, the Wagyu slider topped with chimichurri, caramelized onions, and melty cheese, was delicious. To finish off your meal, make sure to to order the Espresso Martini (also on happy hour.) This is the perfect spot for an inter coastal upscale experience at an affordable price! I cannot wait to go back and try dinner!

Yelp
Recently returned to this place for the 2nd time. First time I was not impressed. This time was much better and we had a better experience.

Yelp
It seems a short while ago that we once dined at this location prior to the restaurant One Thousand North (1000 North) ever existed. 1000 North off U.S. Highway 1 in Jupiter, is a classy waterfront restaurant featuring a Contemporary American menu highlighting seafood and steaks. The restaurant is located along the Loxahatchee River where one can dine from the terrace with magnificent views. Their dining room is impressive with rounded wooden beams, high ceiling, along with a looming glass wine wall. The second floor of the restaurant is a members-only club with exclusive access to floor lounge and amenities. Their chef has passionate cooking skills and knowledge that is easily noticeable when dining at 1000 North. The creative dishes and presentations are over the top. We were told to order the rock shrimp & lobster risotto prior to visiting the restaurant, but we forgot while enjoying the views and cocktails Instead we had steak, oysters' turbo fish and tuna which were all delicious. Highly recommend the Carolina BBQ #1 Ahi Tuna as an entrée. The overall dining experience was incredible, the staff was knowledgeable and friendly, which made the evening perfect.

Yelp
We had a great dinner the food was wonderful as was the service. The view was incredible. We will certainly go back and I will remember the step down out of the booth.

Yelp
I always heard about this restaurant and finally decided to go for dinner. This place is perfect for birthday dinners, anniversaries, and date night. The tone of this place intimate and by the water. Free valet service is offered as well. The menu had a good variety to choose from. All cocktails are $20 flat, mine was pretty strong. The sides are pretty pricey but they are family size portions. The Brussel sprouts and creamed corn brûlée was really good. My friend had the crab cake for her entree and she said it was amazing. I had the small plate, wagyu beef skewers as my entree since I wasn't extremely hungry. The customer service was great. Our waitress did an awesome job at explaining the menu options and giving us recommendations. I can't wait to return in the day time for lunch!
google avatar

Diane R.

Yelp
Went as 1st timers, really pretty place! Server, Nicole did a great job!! Thank you Nicole!! We had the price fix; I started with their ceasar--honestly the pics on line don't do it justice it was yummy, fresh, the corn bread crispy, the crumbs really made it. The Parker rolls were over the edge delicious!! Soft, pillowy rolls from heaven!! I had the yellowtail which was quite good, which also came with spinach, cauliflower, pomegranate seeds, but both of us that hd it thought there was way too much oil. The fries were incredible best ever!! We finished with crème brûlée which was one of the best I've ever had; another had the raspberry sorbet which was soo good, the mini pavlova was nice, both fresh fruit garnished. The place has good acoustics for conversation, the aisles were quite small, hard to traverse. I look forward to coming back!! O yes had a signature cocktail, Havana, the guava was unique, very nice drink. Pricing is high, cocktail was $20. Could be scenic once bridge construction completed. Gotta come back!!

Yelp
Amazing happy hour 5-7 daily! Bartenders are great and the view is beautiful! Absolutely love this place. The food is delicious love the tuna bites & steak.
google avatar

Yelp
Great evening with family that lives in the area. The good: seafood tower, amazing steaks and sides (potatoes and Brussels). Cocktails were inventive and strong. Finished the night on the members terrace with espresso martinis that went down very easily by that point! The not so good: expensive. We did have a fairly spendy bottle of wine that made it even more so. Our server did a good job generally but seemed to insert himself in every conversation and could be a. It more unobtrusively attentive. We are used to nice Texas date nights, but Palm Beach is on a whole new level with well dressed, well off patrons. Loved the buzzy waterside location too.
google avatar

Mike P.

Yelp
OMG - first time here last week, met friends here for dinner. Right on the water, over the top service and food. Oysters were terrific, steaks very good - and pleanty of drink options. Whatelse do you need? Hopefully will be back - not cheap, but you have to know that before going in.

Yelp
This is definitely top notch. We came here to celebrate a birthday. The food was absolutely delicious, service was on point, and the restaurant itself was gorgeous. The only thing that could've made it better was being able to sit and take in the scenery but Mother Nature had other plans. We will definitely be returning here.
google avatar

Gracie R.

Yelp
We cannot thank Anthony our server enough for making my birthday dinner a memorable one! He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, made us feel at home and checked up on our table to make sure we were ok. Everyone was extremely warm and friendly!! The ambiance is perfect for a date night ,birthday or anniversary. The seafood tower we ordered was amazing! I absolutely love the detail and thought behind each dish that we ordered! A lot of people complain about the price but the quality of ingredients cannot be beat!

Mark D.

Yelp
Went with friends and fantastic tuna and steaks. Very busy and nice vibe and outside bar area too. Pricey but worth it.

Yelp
We came here to meet my wives friends for a brunch after I had worked. When we got here, apparently her friend was star struck because Rory McIlroy was here the famous golfer. Me, I could care less I played real sports. We sat down, and this place was a let's say above my pay grade. The place is nice. But damn for what i see on the menu, help a brother out. We got bread which was delicious. The butter had a little sweetness to it which was a nice surprise. We ordered a burger which was 26 with fish tacos. We also got Brussel sprouts and fries. The hamburger was nothing to write home about. The fries were good. 26 dollars more like 8 dollars. Fish tacos were good. Fish was ahi tuna. Brussel sprouts which usually I can't stand were Amazing. 1 drink and. 2 meals 85 dollars before tip. That's a bit ridiculous. Probably wouldn't come back.

Yelp
Excellent food wine and service. I have visited 3 times and each visit has been spectacular.

Yelp
Went there for my birthday last year with my daughter the service was impeccable. The view was nice. The food was subpar and overpriced. Also felt it had a snotty atmosphere.
google avatar

Jeff N.

Yelp
We came here for pre-dinner drinks for my birthday, and we enjoyed our experience at both the outdoor and indoor bars. The bar staff was reasonable and accommodating, serving various cocktails we enjoyed. I had a refreshing blueberry cocktail, while the Smokey Paloma was tasty, savory, and fruity. The rosé was a happy hour special that I enjoyed as well. While we didn't eat here for dinner, the dining areas appear regal and stylish in design, making for a pleasant experience. We'll have to remember that next time.
google avatar

Leslie K.

Yelp
Food was great, service great and bar and restaurant ambience well done. Stone crab and steaks was our choices for 4 and everything was done to perfection. Their reservation protocol is interesting,, just call 2 weeks out. I liked that style
google avatar

Greg B.

Yelp
Great setting and ambiance, food, and staff. Pricey but worth the experience. We had the petite filet with brussel sprouts. Some of the best brussel sprouts I've ever had! It was my birthday and they brought out a fantastic mousse and vanilla bean ice cream on the house. Would certainly come back here!
google avatar

Christina H.

Yelp
The husband and I are big foodies ... as transplants from New Orleans, we are constantly in search of the next up and coming eateries as well as supporting the local mainstays. First time here and it was beautiful walking in, but we were a little off put with the lack of engagement with the host staff. Very little eye contact. The folks in the front of the house are the VP's of first impressions and they could use a little education on it. Once we were seated, we had a great experience with Darcy, our waitress. She made great recommendations and our favorite was probably the she crab soup! A bit pricey for the quality of food and the initial experience when we walked in, but Darcy and the staff supporting her made up for it.

Yelp
Hats off to this restaurant for going above, and beyond in both food and service. I've been wanting to try this restaurant, but was waiting for a special occasion. Friendly staff classy atmosphere and creative food and cocktail menu The tuna steak was outstanding, and cooked to perfection. Quite possibly the best piece of fish of my life. It is definitely worth it to make the drive from anywhere in South Florida.

MaKenzie K.

Yelp
The most delicious food of our entire trip to Jupiter! The crab spaghetti and the artichokes topped with crab (not pictured) were both absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was lively, all their cocktails were delicious, and our server was great. Definitely going to be coming back!

Yelp
Have always had great meals here and especially enjoyed the Wagyu beef. The service is very good and at no time was it suggested we end our time. Did I say the house Merlot is excellent? It is! We especially enjoy seating along the windows when it is available.

Yelp
We came to 1000 North with a party of 6 to celebrate a birthday. The obviously very expensive modern interior design that you see upon entering was very impressive. We chose the outdoor seating to take advantage of the views made available by its waterfront location, although understandably the location of the larger tables did not have the best views. The menu selections we ordered included the grilled grouper, Carolina BBQ Ahi tuna, and scallops, and everyone raved about the quality of their dinners. 1000 North is definitely on the pricy side, but the food exceeded our expectations. Unfortunately, when the dinners were brought to the table, only 5 plates arrived - the server did put in one of the orders. We were faced with the difficult decision - do we wait or start eating. My brother insisted that we all start eating while he waited at least 15 minutes for his dinner to arrive. We were all very upset, but we ordered another bottle of wine which seemed to help lighten the mood. As bad as this situation was, I must complement the manager who explained what happened, apologized profusely, assured us he was expediting the missing dinner, and comped my brother's dinner as well as deserts for the entire table, which was the appropriate gesture. By the end of the night we had almost forgotten about the service issue, and we all enjoyed our experience at 1000 North!

Yelp
We just moved to Jupiter a year ago from CT. This is one of our favorite special occasion experiences and spots. Tonight was a date night that was long overdue. We picked a night that a member was hosting a 16th Birthday for their daughter. Much to our chagrin the party could not have been any louder and obnoxious if they tried. They felt as if they owned the restaurant. I do wish I pulled up a chair at their table to enjoy the food they had ordered since we were part of their party from across the room. My wife and I were on our main course and after hearing the "f-bomb" for the 6th time, listening to stories of their daughter, their family and aunts and uncles, on top of the party whistles the felt the need to blow as if it were New Years Eve with Dick Clark, we had about had enough. Our lovely waitress Cynthia could tell we were just about to hit the mayday button and she looked at us and said oh my god, I am embarrassed and I feel so sorry, I can't believe what is going on. She brought over the manager Fernando and the both of them could not have been more accommodative; he moved us to a part of the restaurant that was closed off and ready for tomorrows seating and provided us with new drinks and desert as we already finished our main course. They picked up our tab and went above and beyond to make sure that we knew they were appalled and embarrassed about the experience we had. Thank you to Fernando, Cynthia and the rest of the staff that came up to apologize for the uncouth behavior we experienced from a larger party tonight. You were very professional and made sure to put your clients first. This is not normal in FL, so thank you for your care and concern. As always the food was amazing and the service was over the top.

Yelp
We were shocked and disappointed by an experience that revealed how racialized biases can manifest even in spaces meant for celebration. Let me explain. For New Year's, my family and I went out for a special dinner. The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere seemed welcoming. After asking our server if we could dance--and being told yes--my South Asian husband took our aunt to the dance floor. Moments later, they were stopped and publicly told they weren't allowed to dance. It was humiliating and made my husband, for the first time since moving here, feel unwelcome. When we confronted the staff, they apologized, claiming it was a misunderstanding and saying they thought my husband and aunt were from the bar. While we understand this is South Florida, a place that can feel conservative and old-school at times, that excuse reflects a bias that ruined what should have been a joyful and special night for us. These "mistakes" are never isolated; they're part of the everyday ways people are excluded or made to feel out of place. No one should have to fight to prove they belong in a space where they came to celebrate.

Yelp
First thing to consider is, when the restaurant is as expensive as this, the review naturally reflects the high expectations. Before getting into the details the experience was not a bad one just had higher hopes given the price. The location itself was beautiful. The building was well-maintained and well lit. The formal dining area was separated from the bar keeping the noisy bar crowd away from the dinner crowd. The views as you pull up are also quite spectacular though at night I'm sure we only got to see half of the detail of the marina. Entering the restaurant, we were greeted at the host stand which is also nicely decorated. Valet is also offered and is complementary which is a nice touch. We did run into a small issue with regards to seating as my boyfriend was requiring wheelchair access. Although we called ahead and asked the staff if that would be a problem, after being told we would be accommodated it actually turned out to be a slightly more complicated situation than we had hoped. That being said, they seated us promptly and gave us a larger table by the bar rather than put us in the dining room where he could have sat at a table in his wheelchair. The bar area was A little noisier than hoped with background live music playing. We could however have a conversation at our table without needing to raise her voices much. Our server, Joe, was very attentive and quite honestly one of the better servers we had the pleasure of meeting in quite some time. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us choose drinks given that we are not normally people to order alcohol at a restaurant. The food itself was mostly great. My boyfriend had the halibut which he enjoyed thoroughly and ate the complete serving. The broccolini itself was on the harder side but it was seasoned very well. My salmon however was significantly undercooked in the middle which is likely caused by the fact that they give you a very thick portion. The flavors were very good but the raw center was slimy and not to my liking. In addition, the tomatoes that come with The meal as well as the cornbread were also very tasty. We also ordered the truffle fries as an appetizer since it seems to be one of the more recommended items by other reviewer's. Quite honestly, they are regular french fries that were heavily seasoned with truffle oil which in general tasted more like vegetable oil with mild truffle flavoring. Not exactly decadent given the $18 price tag. Overall, a pretty good experience that in reality only lost one star because of the high price tag which carries with itself expectations of chefs knowing how to cook salmon properly or at the very least slicing the fillet thinner in order to ensure a more uniform preparation. This is not a bad place if you want to have a fancy night out but if you are going for the food quality, much cheaper places in the area have provided significantly more delicious options. However, the atmosphere and the drinks would be reason to return to this place without hesitation.
