This was the 2nd time I visited, I had an amazing experience the first time- I had to go back, took my daughter, which is really picky. We got each got 2 different entrée and love it all. The staff as always was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Thank you for the service, cleanliness and amazing atmosphere. I would also like to add, they have the full bar all day. So have a tequila or mimosa with your breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner.

Google
First time here! Food was great! I got the waffle, eggs, and turkey sausage. The guava jam on the side was amazing! The vibe was great too! Our waitress was awesome! Very friendly and attentive! Will definitely go back!

Google
The real deal. Kudos to whomever created this menu!!! The various classic flavors along with the presentation, outstanding!!

Google
This an absolute must try and hidden gem. First time today for brunch and I’m so glad I went. The food was well platted and the food was delicious. I created my own omelette with meat, cheese, some kind of sauce on top and breakfast potatoes. Those potatoes were the best I have ever had. So crispy and cooked to perfection. They have breakfast, lunch, alcoholic drinks and non alcoholic drinks. I will definitely be back over and over again.

101 Kitchen is a must-visit! The blend of Hispanic and American cuisine is done to perfection, with every dish bursting with flavor. The taste and quality truly set it apart as one of the top dining spots in the Knightdale area. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and quick. Whether you’re looking for bold flavors or a welcoming atmosphere, 101 Kitchen delivers it all. Highly recommend!

Google
Would highly recommend !! Especially if you want a little taste of home 🏝️ as an Orlando girly, this hidden gem is a great spot to be at !! PLEASE COME 💚💚 you won’t regret it !!

Some friends and I visited 101 for brunch last Saturday before a festival. We found it by chance but were very pleased! We ordered some mimosas and breakfast, and everything was tasty and came out in a timely manner. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable on the menu also! I will definitely be back to visit!

Google
This food was so good. Our server was great and kept the drinks coming. The portions are great for the price and everything is fresh and flavorful. This was my family’s first time eating here and we can’t wait to go back real soon.

Yelp
We've enjoyed going to 101 Kitchen. It has a great vibe and great music. My go-to lunch/dinner item is the 101 burger. My husband loves the Argentine Churrasco, it comes with a beautiful salad. The kiddo gets chicken tenders and French fries- more delicious items. There is a bar where you can enjoy a good drink menu. It looks like there's a set up for live music. Definitely a great place to bring friends/family.

Yelp
Environment: Located in the suburbs Cleanliness: 2 of 5 stars; Leadership/Management should ensure the restaurant is cleaned thoroughly at close of business as well as before the start of business each day; I needed to use the restroom at the end of our visit but thought about how the restaurant was presented upon entry and waited until I got home! The Welcome mat and surrounding floor area where we were seated had scattered crumbs/debri all around them! You shouldn't "judge a book by it's cover," so instead of leaving, I sat down and gave the food a try! Maybe it was an off-day, however first impressions are everything to me and the 101 Kitchen didn't come through with me for presentation yesterday! Food: Very tasty and plentiful; yet it was something about that steak that didn't taste quite like steak or maybe it was the fact that the Steak Exquisite Meal came with flank steak which tasted like a cross between sirloin, ribeye and something undecided! The (2) steaks came on a bed of fried potatoes with an egg for about $30! I'm one and done with this meal! My wife had pork belly bowl in which she didn't like; she sent it back to the kitchen and opted into a chicken and blueberry waffle plate for about $20! The chicken was thick and flavorful as well as the delectable Belgian waffle! We each had (1) glass pineapple juice($4/glass)! We spent $65 total with a tip! They have a full-service bar which might get my patronage later on this year because once again, they have exceptional service! Service: We received very prompt fast service and we're served our food/drink within 15-20 minutes of being seated!

Yelp
This place was great! The vibes are nice, with tropical music, nice furniture, and decorations. Our waitress was kind and attentive; I ordered some birria tacos which I definitely enjoyed and would recommend! We also had dessert, tres leches and vanilla flan; both were sweet enough but not in excess. Definitely stop by if you're in the area!

Yelp
Googled a quick spot I could drop in to get me a quick lunch while I was in the area and 202 Kitchen came up. The restaurant is easily accessible with plenty of free packing. Upon entry there was a nice Spanish vibe going on with the music. Esthetically, it was very pleasing and nicely set up and decorated. I was greeted and seated promptly. Drinks upon sitting. Looked at the menu and decided to try the grits. The shrimp were succulent and the grits had a nice kick. The only thing I would have wanted added would be cheese. Overall my experience and the food were amazing. It's definitely worth the stop. PS....They serve breakfast, brunch lunch, & dinner all day.

Yelp
Melody was a wonderful host/server. Food was delicious and the decorations were so cute. Would recommend.

Yelp
We came here for lunch, so it wasn't crowded in this spacious, pretty restaurant. Great service and excellent food. I loved my Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. The fries were especially delicious with a unique texture. Wasn't sure if that means twice fried but nevertheless really made this meal. Lots of parking. Would come back for dinner to check out the evening vibe.

Yelp
I saw this restaurant on social media. I had to try it. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. The table we were sat at had dishes on it but the waitress said it was clean. I moved the condiments and my fingers got syrup on them. The table was still sticky. Obviously it was not clean. The waitress wiped it and offered another table. We said it was okay. We ordered our food. I ordered the peaches & waffle. The menu said candied peaches, cinnamon sugar something, I believe it was pecans, whip cream & waffle. Nope. I got canned peaches on top of a waffle. The waffle itself was good. Another ordered grits and they looked old, like mashed potatoes. Very clumpy. Another person ordered the chicken Parmesan sandwich. Her bread was soggy and chicken was slightly salty. The home fries were good.

Yelp
Enjoyed a chicken parm sub for lunch. The place was nearly empty so was surprised how long it took to cook. Menu was extensive. Liked that we had table service and were not rushed to finish.

Yelp
I love the vibe as soon as you walk in. The place is decorated very chic. You can take a nice picture with their decor as the background. I LOVED the food. It was hot and flavored well. The portion sizes are great and shareable if you aren't a heavy eater. The service was great and they have great jelly! I definitely recommend coming here. The price is worth the value and you will enjoy this. I came from out of town and would definitely want to come back if I'm in the area again.

Yelp
101 kitchen is delicious! I love the Latin fusion food. They have such a large menu I know everyone will find something they want to eat. From breakfast items like French toast to chilaquiles! From chicken tenders to salmon salad! Something for everyone of all ages! I got the chilaquiles but they used verde sauce and the fried pork belly. They fried pork belly softens in the sauce. So if you're like me and like it crispy ask them to put it on top or on the side. The portions are great. The staff and owner were wonderful. I love the decor of the place and there is a nice back drop for pictures.

Yelp
The food at this restaurant is great and reasonably priced. The bar service is slow there's always a wait when it's a full house. The restaurant host several events here a month allowing for great experiences for their customers. I just wish the bar service was better. I'd recommend you go on one of the non event nights first to truly experience the venue before going on a busy night. The salmon salad is great and fries too

Yelp
While in the Raleigh area for the weekend, we were looking for a good place to eat and found 101 Kitchen which seemed to be a local favorite. Thankfully, we were able to be seated right away since we were starving. I absolutely loved the decor at this restaurant. It was set up beautifully with all the different mirrors on the wall and the super cute flower backdrop area. Our waitress came over right away once we were seated and described the food as Latin-inspired which made me very excited. After looking over the menu it was hard to decide on what to eat since they serve Brunch all day and serve Lunch until 9pm but I decided on Kevin's Grilled Chicken Sandwich, which was a grilled chicken sandwich with bacon jam (yes, bacon jam), cheese and veggies on a ciabatta roll. The sandwich was absolutely amazing!!! The chicken was moist and flavorful, the bacon jam was delicious and the ciabatta roll was super soft. I highly recommend this restaurant for those either in the Raleigh area or planning to visit. I loved the different food items on the menu and they even have live music on certain nights. The staff was very friendly as well. Definitely check them out if you can!

Yelp
The ambiance is simple, but nice, the server, however, was delightful. She was very helpful and gracious. I went with two other people, and we all raved over our food. I had the best avocado toast and it was the simplest thing on the menu. It had a smoky flavor with lots of greens and a perfect balsamic glaze. I tried my sister's garlic shrimp omelet and it was fantastic! The seasoning was just right and not over cooked. I would recommend Kitchen 101 for breakfast for any one in the area!

Yelp
I called ahead the day before for a reservation. I arrived and it wasn't busy. The restaurant has a nice mirror decor throughout. The restaurant is well-lit and has comfortable seating. I wasn't welcomed upon entrance. I didn't see a host station. I saw my party already seated and I joined the table. I ordered the whiskey sour and the Eggcellent Pork Bowl. The cocktail was decent. There was puréed orange of some sort in it that I wasn't in love with. The orange bits made it difficult to drink because it kept getting stuck in the straw. The menu referenced the Eggcellent Pork Bowl came with crispy tortillas, with zesty salsa verde, topped with savory 101 pork belly, queso fresco, sour cream, garlic aioli, white onion, cilantro, and crowned with a perfectly fried egg. Very sauce heavy with very little pork belly. May as well not even mention 101 pork belly for the dish. For this to be a signature dish I expected better. What little pork belly was provided in this dish was all fatty meat. A disappointment for me. I love pork belly. A stretch from being the breakfast fiesta described on the menu. It arrived at the table cold and the chips were dissolving into the dish. There was a good flavor but overall I left unsatisfied. I did not enjoy this. The chips should be served on the side. Customer service was average. Nothing here to write home about. I don't know when I will return.

Yelp
I recommend this restaurant. I think it needs more attention. It's delicious. The food is very attractive. Atmosphere is lovely.

Yelp
Service is better but food is worse! Ordered the same thing but got pancakes and bacon! The eggs taste powered and have no seasoning! Pancakes are wayyyyy to sweet my child who loves pancakes couldn't barley eat them! Bacon is way under cooked! Don't think it's going to get any better so I won't be back!

Yelp
101 kitchen opened approximately 3 months ago in Knightdale. The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza with multiple other business that share the parking lot. The restaurant is spacious with tables & booths inside. We were greeted once we entered. Our server was friendly & helpful. Currently breakfast, brunch, and drink menu items are offered. We were advised that the restaurant would be expanding their hours and menu soon. Complimentary bread was given to us prior to getting our meals. My friend ordered the shrimp and grits and enjoyed it. An adequate portion size was provided. I got the chicken biscuit with potatoes. My food was served hot and was seasoned well. Two biscuits with multiple large pieces of chicken were provided. I had enough food for leftovers later. The dish is supposed to be topped with spicy honey but I opted to get the honey on the side. It was unique and tasted good. My only issue with my dish was that the bottom of one of my biscuits was over cooked. I was impressed with the food and service at 101 kitchen. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
So many delicious sounding and looking options in the menu. My friend and I will be back because we want to try more menu items. Service was good, ambiance was low key.

Yelp
The food is always amazing! I love the ambiance this place always has. The light fixtures, the mirrors, all of it is so cute and makes the meal more enjoyable.

Yelp
Previous reviews are what brought us in this past Sunday morning for breakfast. We showed up pretty early to beat the crowds (half hour after they opened) and we definitely beat them. There were only two other tables before us. One with one Gentleman, and another with Grandparents and a child. Plus there's a bar where another Guy was being served. Despite the place being almost empty it took the hostess a minute of contemplation regarding where to put us. First impressions (which continued) were they were not ready for customers and there was no manager present. We ordered drinks: coffee for Husband, unsweetened ice tea for me. No water was offered or brought. The menu has a nice selection of brunch and lunch items. All very enticing. We ordered and waited. We couldn't help but notice that the table of three next to us was a bit agitated. The Man had gotten his meal. Then the child was brought a waffle but it was missing some items including ice cream that they had ordered. They fixed that, brought it back and some time after the woman received her meal. Thankfully our meals came out together and looked beautiful (see pics). I've never seen bacon roses before. Nice finishing touches. My waffle had a slight cinnamon flavor and was delicious. Fantastic fresh fruit with it. Turkey sausage very good. My only problem was my poached eggs were RAW. Would have been an easy fix, but it was forever before we saw a Server again and I didn't care to even ask at that point. Was more concerned to try to get some butter for Husband for his biscuits. Do know that if you order poached eggs, they come Benedict style, with hollandaise sauce and prosciutto. Nice touches unless you wanted them plain. Husband's eggs and bacon were terrific. He wasn't a huge fan of the biscuits, even after he finally got butter, saying they didn't taste fresh. I realize I sound like I'm complaining, but we would definitely go back. There's a whole lot of potential here with some outstanding items. Hopefully they can tweak service a bit so that if something is wrong it can get fixed a lot faster.

Yelp
The ambiance inside is charming, with a chic interior complemented by an Instagram-worthy photo wall. The breakfast, brunch, and lunch menu offer an array of Spanish influenced options. The waffles were exceptional. We opted to add the fried chicken and they drizzled it with hot honey, so good! The food was top-notch, the service fell a bit short of expectations. We found ourselves waiting longer than anticipated for our orders to arrive, which put a slight damper on an otherwise enjoyable experience. However, the staff was super friendly so it could have very well been a kitchen issue. One highlight worth mentioning is the full bar and creative drink menu. Overall, 101 kitchen is worth it, Just be prepared to exercise a bit of patience when it comes to service.

Yelp
Wait staff is attentive. While I've only tried 1 entree so far, it was flavorful. All day brunch (daily) with a promising menu and an assortment of craft beers and liquor. Decent sized dining room and very convenient location. Latin inspired home cooking. Give them a try.

Kimberly P.

Yelp
We ordered breakfast online. The omelets did not come with any of the ingredients we selected. The online time specified for pick up was not accurate. We had to wait an additional 20 mins upon arrival. We sent feedback promptly about the discrepancy, and never received a response. The mix green salad presentation was appealing, that came with the breakfast.
google avatar

Halema A.

Yelp
Pros: The wait staff was very friendly and attentive Cons: Food was overcooked which made it dry and not juicy at all. The price was a bit high for the dry food. They play good music but it is a bit loud, in my opinion. If you pay by card, you pay a bit more than if you pay with cash. We only ate half and took the leftovers home to chop up and give the meat to our dogs. We will not return.

Yelp
My son and I went back and just like before the quality of the food was good, the staff was pleasant and it is a very relaxing and non-rushed experience. Which makes for a great dining experience. The Frittata was good, but I preferred the Omelette from my first visit. My son got the Arepa's he was thinking it would be eaten more like the restaurant Guasaca (stuffed) so he commented that these big chunks of sausage that had to be cut with the arepa while good he did not enjoy the way if had to be eaten. The one thing we both disliked was the avocado chicken it was overwhelmed with a lemon favor and was the only disappointing thing I've tasted here so far.

Melisia W.

Yelp
Food good. Service is horrible. Staff is lacking common sense. one waitress smelled the drink to determine what type it was. Did not know the different types of eggs. No system in place for getting out orders. Please call Gordon Ramsey for some help on getting this place together on the service side. Need help in this area. great food, terrible service!

Yelp
I had to run to Knightdale this morning and since I have nowhere in Zebulon for a good breakfast, after I concluded my business, I set out for IHOP. When I got there, it was total chaos, and my tummy and my nerves said I did not want to wait for what amounts to a trough feed. So I searched breakfast/brunch locations in Knightdale and found my way to 101 Kitchen, only opened since late October. It's a metropolitan, yet warm and friendly atmosphere, clean and somewhat cozy, with a Latino touch. The food, although priced a half-a-notch higher than the average east Wake eatery, is phenomenal! 101 Kitchen is an excellent brunch place with fluffy and flavorful scrambled eggs, crisp bacon and delectable waffles with sugar-free syrup, of course. I saw a couple of tempting dishes come from the kitchen. By the way, I watched as my orange juice was fresh squeezed! When has that happened lately? All the servers are skilled, pleasant and attentive, and mine, Katlyn, was superb. For brunch, lunch or dinner, 101 Kitchen definitely ought to be on your menu!

Yelp
The food was fantastic and the service was great. We really like the variety on the menu.

Yelp
Great service and comfortable space. Excellent rich hot coffee. Eggs and breakfast potatoes were really good. I did not read the description of the burger well enough. Way too much American cheese and other toppings on it for me. I did get this for the fried egg but it was a was mostly hard yolk so it did not give it the saucy richness a runny yolk does on a burger. Overall good experience, I will stick to the breakfast items next lime.

Yelp
First time at this cute place. The food was different in a good way. Service was ok. I did not gave cocktails but the Barbara's had a nice vibe. Will visit again.

Ginny P.

Yelp
Let's start with the new owner! She wouldn't listen to the customers when they were trying to tell her how horrible the service was. She immediately started yelling and told us to leave. The first table we were seated at was dirty, we asked to be moved. We requested silverware three times or more. There were no refills on water or coffee. No one including the owner asked how's everything or is everything okay. One of us didn't get food until the others were finished because the order wasn't put in. We watched as they rushed and tried to get the order to the table, which was never completed! This new owner doesn't have a clue on how to run a restaurant. Very poor service and I would not recommend it!

Shakeria M.

Yelp
Perfect place for a brunch with friends!! Drinks and food are good! Aesthetically pleasing decor as well!!

Nita C.

Yelp
Some friends and I attended this restaurant and the service was absolutely horrible. We were first seated at a dirty table but we didn't let that disturb us. The service continuously grew worse. We had to keep asking for silverware. My friend asked for a refill on coffee at least three times. We asked our waitress about some of the food items on the menu and she didn't know what the menu items were, we had to ask her for another waitress to explain some of the menu items. We never received any refills on our drinks. I placed my order late because I was undecided. My friends were finishing up with their meals, so I asked about my meal only to find out that my order was never put in for the cooks to prepare. When I finally received my food, it wasn't what I ordered. I was done at that point. I must add that the restaurant was not busy at all nor short of staff. Not one time did anyone apologize for the terrible service or asked what they could do to make it right. During our time of dining, there may have been three other tables being served. We asked for the manager & we were told there was no manager there and no one was left in charge. Only to find out later that the lady we were talking to was the manager {she lied}. The owner came in and over to our table without an introduction of who she was {we later found out she was the owner}. The owner was totally rude, dismissive, unprofessional & totally disrespectful. I will never step foot in this restaurant again and if anyone ask me about this establishment. I will inform them of our experience HORRIBLE!!!

Yelp
Working in the area with a local, who thought we should try it. Looking at the menu, feeling like it was rather limited, I figured out the system and ordered Eggs, Benedict style, with Bacon and a biscuit. ALMOST too pretty to eat. It was so good. Almost as good as the cheese sauce on my co-workers meal. Fruit was good, Coffee not bad. Music was a bit too loud, otherwise great.
google avatar

Lew W.

Yelp
Food was delicious, I had the shrimp and grits, which was absolutely phenomenal. I love the way they set it up. I love the special thing that they do to make it their own version of it. I would highly recommend this restaurant and encourage someone else to try the shrimp and grits course I'm sure other things are just good but that's what I had and it was good.
google avatar

NORMA F.

Yelp
Came here for Saturday brunch and loved the food! I got the Mountain Retreat bowl, and he got the stewed chicken. Everything was amazing. We're definitely coming back!

Shawn R.

Yelp
Service was so so. Ordered Kevin's juicy grilled chicken sandwich. The chicken breast was paper thin. I've seen better from a fast food joint. They didn't seem to care that I was unhappy.
google avatar

James B.

Yelp
Staff was very friendly, food was excellent! I definitely would recommend this spot for brunch. Comfortable seating, and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Yelp
I came here because it was raining really hard after getting my nails done next door. I was a little nervous because there were only a few people inside. I was greeted right away. There's not a lot on the menu and I'm not a huge breakfast person so I went with the sandwich. It had ham and fried pork belly on it. It was DELICIOUS!!!! Everything was seasoned so well!!! I could only eat half of it but I could not wait to eat the other half. The inside was nice and clean and I am excited to try more options from their menu.
google avatar

Caroline L.

Yelp
Very low-key and great place to have brunch! My sorority sis and I meet here often and I've never had a negative experience! Coffee is great. My eggs and steaks were cooked to perfection.
google avatar

Bob B.

Yelp
Food was not good.My steak tasted of salt and vinegar Flavor was dislike-able. Service was very good and friendly. We will not return

Lauren M.

Yelp
Great food and wonderful service! Definitely recommend for families - we came with kids and everyone enjoyed it!
google avatar

Mark S.

Yelp
I got the salmon and mixed greens. Very nice. The salmon cooked and seasoned just right. Staff was lovely. But ... there was a dirty rag smell when I walked in the door. I almost didn't go in. I didn't smell it by the tables and the place looked clean, but please do something about that smell

William P.

Yelp
For one apparently they only have two menus to the whole restaurant even though there were menus on all the other tables. Then ordered our food, waited an hour just for them to come out and tell us they don't know when they will get our order out to us. Should have told us at the door before wasting an hour on this place. Definitely do not recommend and I didn't even get to try the food, but the tea sucked!

Adebimpe A.

Yelp
I visited this restaurant today with my husband and 3yrd toddler. We got the breakfast combo with the waffles, scrambled, turkey and link sausages with a side of their potatoes and Mt toddler got the tenders and fries...everything was very delicious, very well seasoned, very fresh and great portions. The ambiance of the place was very nice and the servers were very nice! We will definitely be back!

Jane D.

Yelp
The food was amazing and the service was so good! We got a free mimosa w our meal. The servers were super sweet too (:

Rebecca P.

Yelp
Food was amazing I got the omelet with garlic Cameron's (shrimp). Best food I've had in a long time. Sweet waitress, but slow service...like really slow. Would definitely go back because food was perfect and I had a great time, fortunately we were not in a rush.

Yelp
Food was delicious, I had the beef stew, my husband had the Churassco Steak. Everything was very fresh. Our waitress, Brianna, was very attentive. Cute interior, overall great experience.

Yelp
The Miami Cuban is incredible!!! Authentic Middle of the night Miami Cuban Sandwich. "Media Noche"!!!!
