Google
Delectable parathas and a good variety of pickles. Each paratha is served with a side of curry, raita, and butter. The ambience could use an upgrade but the food was good 👍🏾 We tried the paneer makhani paratha, their sweet parathas menu looked really interesting too!

Google
We tried the 101 Paratha in Irving location. The experience and food disappointing. I would not recommend this place. The ceiling was leaking water from one side of our table, and also the entire row of tables on that side. It was not a big leak, but definitely dripping some water. Not sure if it was clean or dirty. By the time we and others seated noticed it, we had already ordered the food. Service was not up to mark. The server left the paratha on the water dripping side of the table. We ordered two (fan fav) parathas, the Amritsari Aloo Paratha and Chicken Tikka Paratha. The food is below average. The parathas are not up to mark. Both of it very salty. The side of Chole was also very salty, and side of Chicken dhaba was not available and substituted with chicken tikka curry, which was also below average. The raita was good. Achar bar is average. I expected more in taste and flavor, but was disappointed.

Mostly I.

Google
Felt like the parathas were not cooked properly. We bought a paneer paratha and a chicken paratha, both tasted bad. We also had to wait a long time to get our order brought to our table. Not going back again here to eat here.

Google
Disappointing first visit to 101 | Paratha. The “please wait to be seated” sign was pointless, staff barely acknowledged us, and service felt indifferent from start to finish. We ordered two veg thalis and one non-veg thali. The food was basic, and the chicken curry was served cold. No one checked on us, and we had to go to the front to pay while staff stood around chatting. To top it off, they handed us the card machine with a 15% tip already selected. Won’t be back.

Google
I recently visited 101 Paratha and absolutely loved the food! The parathas were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We tried paneer paratha, egg bhurji paratha, aloo paratha, and even the Nutella paratha — every single one was delicious in its own way 😍 They also have an aachar bar with so many types of pickles, which made the experience even more fun and authentic. The chai was amazing too — I loved it so much I actually had two cups! Service was good, portions were generous, and the vibe felt very homely. Definitely a must-try spot if you love Indian comfort food. I’ll be back again soon! 🙌✨

Google
Food 4 Star (thin Parathas) Service 2 Star (Team requires proper training) Great concept for so many choices for Paratha. For me two most essential things with paratha are, Yogurt and Butter! If you are going to run out or pretend that you ran out and not touch the reserved yogurt for the takeouts, you are going to make someone upset. Then later on yogurt is served from the reserved. It’s simple, don’t say NO to a diner. Tip: **Salt is not Flavor, work on flavors **Train staff to be more courteous

Google
Paratha House is definitely unique with their concept of serving 101 different types of parathas along with your choice of sides and six varieties of achaar to pair with. We tried the Amritsari Aloo Paratha and the Chili Paneer Pizza-style Paratha. The Amritsari paratha was tasty and filling, though it lacked salt. The Chili Paneer Pizza-style paratha, however, was disappointing—it felt bland, and the flavors just didn’t come together well. For sides, we ordered Dal Makhni and Chole. The dal makhni arrived cold and didn’t have much flavor, while the chole were just average. The achaar selection was probably the highlight—you can pick whichever you like, which adds a nice touch. As for the atmosphere, the restaurant was quite noisy and the service wasn’t up to the mark. Ambiance was just okay. Overall, it’s worth trying once for the novelty of 101 parathas, but I wouldn’t call it a must-visit spot.

Google
We had a great time here for our Saturday lunch. All of the parathas were delicious and freshly made. We especially loved the Kalakand Paratha. The vibes were also very cozy and colorful.

Yelp
I'm gonna be honest. The place can be really hit if they make slight changes. Don't cut the parantha- it's not a pizza. also use fresh ingredients, you don't have to sell 101 paranthas, only 10 can do the magic if they are fresh. Service was fast and much professional. We tried alloo, paneer. Alloo was excellent, paneer was not fresh. Also the oil used for curries is not of good quality, as the next day a thick layer came on it. It's a casual arrangement, perfect for families and bigger groups.

Yelp
I'm a fan of the classic plain, aloo, and paneer parathas, so discovering a menu boasting 101 varieties was an exciting surprise! The parathas here are massive--far from the typical size--and are served pizza-style, cut into slices. It's a unique presentation that adds to the fun. There is an accompanying achar bar, offering a variety of pickles, along with sides like raita and another complementary dish to enhance the flavors. I highly recommend coming with a group or opting for the buffet to sample a variety, as even one paratha is generous enough to feed two to three people. We tried #6, the classic aloo paratha, and #29, the paneer makhani paratha--both were delicious! The daal makhani was rich and flavorful, though I found the amritsari pindi chole a bit on the salty side. If I lived closer, this would undoubtedly be a regular spot for me. The variety, quality, and portion sizes make it a must-visit for paratha lovers.

Yelp
This is a place dedicated to Indian stuffed breads (paratha) of all kinds, 101 to be precise. The ambience is cool but casual, the stuffed bread of your choice is served with butter, yogurt, one side (lentil gravy/ cheakpeas gravy/ spinach gravy) and Indian pickle (mango pickled in oil). Paratha is traditional Indian bread, mostly from north India and eaten during breakfast or midday snack, pretty much any time of the day. They also have great shakes (mango lassi/ traditional lassi (yogurt drink). The parathas can be vegetarian (filled with potato, onion, green peas, qualiflower, daikon radishes, ...) in non vegetarian options they have chicken, lamb, eggs ...

Yelp
Took to go orders from 101 paratha before our flight from dfw. Ordered 2 parathas - a potato and cheese paratha for the kid and butter chicken paratha for the adults. The paratha come with a side of chole/daal makhani. The size is humongous, easily sufficient for 2-3 adults. The paratha for kids was good. Was mild as requested and good for a plain potato and cheese paratha. The butter chicken paratha however tasted nothing like butter chicken. It was basically mince chicken stuffed in a paratha. And it was very dry. Wasn't pleased about it. We had the chole as a side which was good.
google avatar

Merlyn M.

Yelp
The parathas itself are pretty decent, just know that it's almost a medium pizza size and not an individual size. So it's definitely shareable between two people. Also I prefer the paratha to be more blended with the dough instead of it being a filling giving it more of a quesadilla feel. The one plus point is that it comes with a side and raita which I can appreciate. The daal makhani and chicken curry side was good, I personally was not a fan of the chole. The service and ambiance is warm and cozy. I really liked their Achar Bar serving a variety of pickle which definitely is a good match when eating parathas!

Aman F.

Yelp
Disappointing: Egg paratha, but the paratha seemed baked it was so dry and the egg burjee was dry too. Strange, since I expected so much more from a place which specialises in parathas. However, service was prompt and pleasant.

Yelp
Definitely a must place to try if you are in Irving! It was so hard to pick which ones to try and all the names are so clever - especially if you are into Bollywood since some were old movie references. We picked up three different kinds but the decor was pretty cute and the service for pick up was good. Out of the three, the almond chicken was pretty spicy so if you have a low tolerance, it would be hard to eat even with yogurt. The aloo and Gobi were in the vegetarian category and they were not that spicy. Captions in the pictures! I would definitely go back and to try their sister restaurant India 101.

Yelp
My first experience of paratha was in Singapore which I loved so the idea of 101 Paratha sounded so intriguing to me. While the paratha style was different, I had a very pleasant experience overall. I got a vegetarian aloo ghobi paratha and it was overall really tasty with a nice yogurt dip. All their parathas do come with a side (I got daal) and there are also self serve pickled veggies available. The interior was very clean and aesthetically pleasant. Service was alright. Overall I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you love Indian style parathas. I do not think this would appeal to a wider audience though, so just be aware!

Yelp
Parathas were amazing!! You do need to dip it in something, as it's dry but that's how you should eat it. Each paratha comes with your choice of side (paneer, chola, daal, chicken). We got our plates relatively quick bc there wasn't too much of a crowd, but once it started picking up, we wanted to order dessert, but we were told it would be a 20 minute wait so we didn't get it. Not a huge deal, especially if you put in your order while you're eating your dinner.

Yelp
Definitely a must on the weekends if you want try different parathas. A huge section of vegetarian parathas available along with chicken paratha & also sweet kalakand paratha. Taste was really good. Paratha buffet @ 101 paratha is the first & only one in North America. We enjoyed every bit of it! Staff was very friendly & well maintained joint! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

Yelp
I always want to support our community. This is a spot right near India 101 and I'm not sure if same owners but paratha sounded good to my parents so we came by to pick up some for dinner. Right next door is rumali and I wanted rumali roti. For paratha we decided on keema methi which I asked for the daba chicken. The lady taking the order said there's an up charge of $2 so it's better to get the pindi chole which is 8 oz of chole. The side order of 8 oz is 8.99. So I decided pindi. My parents got gobi with pindi chole. When it came out it was in small 4 oz containers so we were surprised. The staff kept insisting it was 8 oz and we just couldn't agree on that. They weren't filled fully either. They ended up giving us another container. When I got home I had to measure because it was driving me crazy, I filled 1/2 a cup and had 2 tablespoons leftover so definitely not 8 ounces. As a reminder - this place does close mid day so make sure you check the timings before heading their way to try out the food. Now to the good stuff. The keema methi parantha was spicy but keema was dry. The gobi parantha was perfect just like my mom makes it! The parantha comes with achar and raitha and butter. Overall I would love to get a good quantity for what I'm paying for. May or may not come back but a good spot to try once.

Yelp
I've been admittedly skeptical about the DFW food scene, but that was before I knew the desi food options in Irving are perhaps better than what you can find in NYC. On a foggy cold night, despite being groggy from an early flight, I felt compelled to make a pit stop to try one of their namesake 101 paratha varieties. I was reminiscing about my favorite Kulcha stand in Sarojini Nagar, so I had to go for the amritsari aloo paratha on this particular night. It was a bit challenging to eat given how thick it was, but the flavors were very good, and I alternated between bites with makhan or dahi. All that being said, I think the star of the show might be their achaar bar! What more could you want than 8 varieties of achaar to enhance the flavors of your parantha.
google avatar

Yelp
The food was nice, side has great spice (not too hot). Service extremely friendly and helpful. They really wanted to get my order perfect. Will definitely be back!!

Yelp
Have you ever been to a restaurant and wondered, what's the meaning behind the name?? Welcome to 101 Paratha, where the name couldn't be any more obvious. They literally have 101 different types of Paratha!! Mind-boggling!!! I was curious to try out this place and check the exhaustive offering, so I did one weekend afternoon with a few friends. They had lunch buffet available so we capitalized on it (we couldn't possibly try out every single item amongst the 3 of us, duh!). I was a little skeptic, at first, about the 101 different parathas, but one look at the menu quickly shut those doubts to bed. There were some parathas that I hadn't heard of and some I didn't think would be possible to make. The buffet had about 15 or more different paratha options and we tried to get a piece of each. Obviously, there were some that we enjoyed more than the others. They have both vegetarian and non vegetarian options along with drinks; mango lassi and masala chai were our choices. The parathas were warm and tasty, the drinks were fantastic especially the mango lassi which was refreshing. The ambiance was contemporary and the place is big enough to accommodate big parties. Although the buffet was good, it was pretty expensive. You do get to try a variety of different parathas but those fill you up very quickly and you might not get the chance to try them all. However, I'd argue that it's worth the money given the sheer quantity and quality of this restaurant. There's something for everyone to try out and is suitable for family, friends and colleagues.

Yelp
Great food, the quality of food, options were just amazing. Such a unique restaurant option.

Yelp
Firstly, wow! 101 parathas! You gotta be kidding me! I came with my friends here and definitely didn't get disappointed! I'm fan of their Gobi paratha - tastes just right! I somewhat don't enjoy their chole as much but daal makhani is really tasty! You can also enjoy their variety of pickles in the restaurant! For the size of the paratha, the price seems a little high but I guess you get a good portion of side as well to compensate for the price! Overall, had a great experience! Love the vibe too!
google avatar

Sadiq S.

Yelp
The menu is a creative addition to a world of paratha's! Takes me to my childhood when Ammi made ajwain paratha to help heal my stomach upset and creatively the menu has it as "Nani ka nuskha" ! Hats off to the 101 paratha team. The paratha we tried #71 on menu is very tasty and the accompaniments are very delicious and compliment the paratha. A good choice for kids and also to treat yourself. Ordered a pickup but when visited the restaurant the ambiance is cozy, corner cafe vibe with a friendly staff. The buffet provides you an opportunity to enjoy variety and make your taste buds aligned to what you may like. kudos to the restaurant owner and staff for a very creative selection and mouthwatering experience and culinary plus enthusiastic experience in ordering the paratha!

Yelp
Quite a change from usual fare served by most of the Indian restaurants in Dallas. We ordered 2 parathas and both were good. Not so crowded on weekends and ample parking... Folks looking for fiery fare should go somewhere else, if you still choose to stick around there are 2 - 3 parathas to try from...

Priyanka M.

Yelp
The food is always delicious. It's clean and the staff is always prompt. The Dal makhani is better than many high end restaurants.
google avatar

Manpreet M.

Yelp
Service was very good - parantahs were very good but for the stuffed kulchas -there was a lot of Maida and little undercooked

Varun D.

Yelp
Best place to have paranthas. Deliciously made and variety that you get here is so amazing! The sides that you get only make the food great and service is good too.
google avatar

Shreya C.

Yelp
It's a buffet concept where they have 6-7 varieties of parantha in the buffet along with dal, chhole, rice, some sort of chicken, salad, pickle and raita. Most of the parantha's in the buffet today were just so so. They had aalo, mooli, gobi, chana, paneer, chicken paranthas today. Apart from the masaledaar aalo parantha, everything was just okay. The dal makhani was good. All in all, skip it.
google avatar

Jaimi P.

Yelp
Amazing food, great service Loved the freshly made parathas that came with raita, butter and side gravy. They also have achar bar Service was great. Highly recommended
google avatar

Kari B.

Yelp
Amazing food! We had really good tandoori parathas along with some delicious biriyani and butter chicken. So many good parathas to try. A must go to
google avatar

Luna G.

Yelp
Beyond expensive for what they give you. Paratha was dry. Said it was filled with vegetables but really was a flat tortilla. Ordered a sweet one and all it had was condensed milk and was rough to chew. Paid almost $38 for and regret it. Never agsin
google avatar

Sukrit P.

Yelp
Growing up in India, I used to love having paranthas on weekend mornings! The weekend parantha buffet at 101 Parantha brings back those same memories for me. Paranthas are delicious, the white butter tastes just like back home and the achar bar is very cool addition to it all. A must try imo!
google avatar

Priyanka M.

Yelp
We went for the weekend parantha buffet. The spread was really good with an assortment of various kinds of paranthas, sides, white butter, green chilies, raita and the achar bar. For the beverages there was mango lassi, buttermilk, nimbu paani, tea and coffee. The hot paranthas and sides (dal, chole, chicken curry) are delicious and reminded me of Delhi! The kalakand parantha for dessert was also really good too. Highly recommend this place for a weekend brunch.
google avatar

Charise R.

Yelp
Thought this was an excellent place until I placed a to go order and my food was trashed because it was made too early. When I called the manager told me he would not remake the food or refund my money. When my friend when to get my food the restaurant representative tried to take it out the trash to give it to her. I called the supervisor and showed proof of the bank draft and she refunded my money.
google avatar

Tonny S.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing experience, the food was great but the service was even better Aishwarya was our server and she just is so super kind and went above and beyond to assist. Wow experience all the way around, but seriously she was great and the food was fantastic. They had this cute section in the corner with a bunch of achar(pickle) try the lime one it was our family favorite. Thanks again Aishwarya!!

Yelp
First time here at 101 Paratha and this place was so good! The girls up front was welcoming had a smile and also invited me to look at their foods. They had varieties of naan type of breads, sweet savory, spicy plan and several Indian dishes to go with. The service was good and atmosphere was nice too with the umbrellas. I would recommend to give this place a try. Oh and price was very reasonable.

Liem H.

Yelp
I enjoy indian cusine from the masala curries, biryani, and naan. I recently tried paratha, which is a layered croissant version of Indian naan bread. So when I saw that there was a shop specializing in parath!, I was super excited. Disappointingly, the restaurant was less than average. Pros: Clean and nice area of irving Nice and friendky hostess Wasn't crowded with only one other couple. Sides include some curry dipping sauce with good spice level.. Cons: Paratha was not fluffy. Texture was like pizza dough. Which is ok, if you want Naan bread, but the paratha I have enjoyed is indian Croissant heaven. Too many options to choose, made me dizzy. Service slow, only one other party, but my to go order took over 20 mins. I asked for a sample of the paratha bed after l already placed my order. They decline. If the paratha was tasty, i was ready to buy morebtov tkae home. ... I may try again when I see more reviews.

Neil R.

Yelp
If you are Dallas done go without trying this paratha. Absolutely amazing. Will not disappoint.

Yelp
Really good variety of paratha for a decent price! The wheat dough is super fresh and buttery and flakey. Service is really good as well!

Yelp
A solid three and half stars for my in-person dining experience here. We went on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was moderately crowded. Two harried servers seemed to be doing all the service and they were very busy. We were seated at a small table for two and it took a bit of time to be able to place our orders. Our food came quickly though and was tasty. I ordered a 12 inch chicken achari stuffed paratha and my partner got the lamb stuffed one. We also got a side of chicken curry. We got raita and dal makhni as complimentary sides, and some pickles from the achar bar. The parathas were decent, though I liked the lamb option better...the chicken stuffing was too dry. The plates we were served on were very flimsy and my partner's plate started disintegrating half way though the meal! We were also given flimsy plastic silverware and plastic water glasses. Though the food was fine, the whole experience was chaotic and uncomfortable. I will get takeout from here next time and enjoy the food at home! Also, the buffet is only for lunch, not dinner.

Jaspreet S.

Yelp
Food: aloo pyaz parantha very good taste Service: good Location: easy parking Nice restaurant
google avatar

Shreyas P.

Yelp
This paratha restaurant is a great idea that's also well executed. We had an aloo achari paratha, a paneer hari mirch paratha, and mango lassis, all of which we enjoyed. Service is fast and friendly too.
google avatar

Diksha A.

Yelp
I would say concept is nice . There are not many places where you will get paranthas. They have a lot of variety. It Takes 30-35 minutes to make(for our dine in we had to wait 50 minutes for the 1st paratha to come. We ordered 3 parathas.mooli, paneer and aaloo with sprouts . ALL the 3 paranthas tasted almost the same!!! Paranthas are served with butter. Aachar and raita(2oz each other i think) Sitting tables : a few indoor and mostly outdoor. Taste 3.5/5 Sitting area : 3/5 Service: 3/5 ( low rating just because of the wait time)

Yelp
Me and my husband are obsessed trying foods he found out about Indian cuisine, so when he mentioned to me that he had found an amazing spot, AND it was a buffet, I just had to check it out for myself! The place itself is beautiful. The decorative style is almost like that of royalty, very clean, very classy; I loved the look of the place. We went for the dinner buffet on a Friday, and there was no much crowd. The wait wasn't very long at all. They have a cool selfie screen in the waiting area, and you can even send yourself the picture if you'd like. So yeah, that's pretty awesome (my husband did it). Now the food... goodness gracious. The food is fantastic! The variety of food here is great. Though the day we went it was more chicken than any other meat, they had numerous styles of it. Also plenty of vegetarian choices for meatless indulgers. I will say this, if spicy is not your thing, be leery most of the items here will not be spicy. They do have descriptions that explain spice level, but if you are a spicy lover like me then this is only the place to try the food for spice, it might not be your cup of tea; Not to say they don't have items that are not spicy, but while paying for a buffet, you will want to be able to enjoy what all it has to offer, or at least a large portion of it. Few items that are not good to have according to my opinion is fruit custard, dosa was cool by the time I served it into my plate the according to me the tiffin section was not good their malai kofta in vegetarian was amazing It is a little pricey at about roughly $25 a person, but I see that as a very fair price for what you are indulging in. They do many kinds of sweet and savory foods, all executed well. I like to get just a couple of bites of several items so that I can try more of the options before getting my fill. Finally, when you pay for your meal, there are little packs of mouth fresheners when you leave. Get one. It's some sort of candied spices. Yes, you read right. It's not your ordinary mouth freshener, but it is an experience in itself. They do it all well here. Try it. Treat yourself to something tasty!

Yelp
Horrible experience! Stay out of here after 9:00 pm entering. Restaurant attendants want their customers to complete their orders while waiting for tables to be cleaned up. The restaurant kitchen close sharp by 9:30 pm, and for us, they asked a least 7-8 times while we were deciding on the order for our seven members, including three kids. We decided to come out of that place and went next door. Management should handle this situation by stopping entering people after 9:00 pm.

Yelp
Food tasted superb. Well behaved server. 1 paratha was enough for 2 of us. Definitely visit again!
google avatar

Kunjar B.

Yelp
Most of the vegetarian items like Aloo Paratha and innovative variations like Aloo Bikaneri were great. Gulab Jamun Paratha was also pretty good. Kalakand Paratha was a bit underwhelming. Service can be a bit too slow during busy times. The restaurant is well appointed and the wall art has been carefully curated.

Yelp
The meal was different from what I expected. The staff were nice and explained the menu and the acchar was pretty cool!

Joe C.

Yelp
HORRIBLE FOOD and the service is even worse. Went because a friend recommended it....completely baffled. Also the place felt very unhygienic and dirty.

ashutosh v.

Yelp
Pretty good parathas . Not oily or heavy, great taste and right sized. Good variety of tasty Pickles. The sides were of decent proportion as well . One of the parathas was very low on salt , the server immediately took that back and got us a new one . No questions asked only an apology provided. This shows they care for their customers . Will definitely be going back .

Prathiba P.

Yelp
Ok I have been a long time costumer Like 80 parathas and counting Well stop counting I raved about The place and 4 of my friends drove down from Allen McKinney and frisco The Parathas were delicious and the service was fine Until i had almost an entire Parata left and wanted to a 'box' to take it to go . I was given 2 styrofoam boxes ( which I avoid and the Paratas were getting messed up as they are sliced ) asked for a cardboard box in which their paratas are always delivered or to go in . The server told me sorry we have a count for the boxes can't give you !!!! Seriously you lost a customer for life over a cardboard pizza box . Food wise I would give 4 stars but for this service 1 star that too not the server but the 'policy 'because its not letting me not choose zero . They reluctantly brought a cardboard box out once they heard me talk to my friends about how I wasn't coming back ever or ordering delivery , by then I had already packed it in styrofoam and repacking would ruin the slices as they will fall apart . The manager wasn't on site .

Samrath S.

Yelp
For a place that focuses on parathas, not impressed. The sides were better tasting than the parathas itself. For myself would not come back again.
google avatar

Mihir D.

Yelp
Yummy parathas, good service. Loved the packaging of Parathas for to go . It's a good size and well stuffed. One stop shop for parathas with the side of butter and sides, it's cherry on top.

Yelp
Extremely delicious! We will be back for sure. I tried egg paratha and paneer paratha and it was good af

Yelp
Interior is well decorated and staff was friendly enough. But food was terrible. We ordered three different types of veg parathas, with chole, dal makhani, and Palak paneer. All the parathas basically tasted the same and truly had no flavor. Mango lassi was good.
