"A brewery created by Houstonians for Houstonians, 11 Below was launched on the precipice of how refreshing an ice-cold beer is during the seemingly never-ending hot days in the city. The brewery showcases a list of thirst-quenching, refreshing ales, including its signature 7-Iron blonde, plus quirky pours like its Hipster Sauce IPA and  Taco Tuesday, a margarita-style beer." - Sean Hekmat, Brittany Britto Garley, Megha McSwain

This brewery is such a hidden gem—I can’t believe it’s only a mile from my house! Tucked behind some businesses, it’s easy to miss, but once you find it, you’ll wonder how you didn’t know about it sooner. The vibe here is fantastic—open, vibrant, and super chill—perfect for grabbing a beer and unwinding. It’s also dog-friendly, which is a huge plus! On our visit, we were spoiled with food options, including a variety of food trucks and a hot dog stand. We tried the oven-baked sausage pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. To top it off, we stumbled upon their "Octobearfest" celebration (yes, bear-themed!), which had fun activities and competitions throughout the day. Of course, the beer is the real star here. Every brew we tried was top-notch—definitely my go-to now over Saint Arnold’s Brewery. *Update:* We were thrilled to find them open on Christmas Day! The space was cozy and warm, and their cider was exactly what we needed to toast the holiday spirit. This spot has quickly become a favorite for its great atmosphere, delicious food, and, most importantly, incredible beer. Highly recommend checking it out!

Stopped in for a few beers with my wife on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. They had all the doors open, and it's a great place to enjoy some cold beverages. I had the Northwest corridor IPA, which was excellent. I also tried the Hipster sauce IPA, which was good as well. My wife had the fruit tart and taco Tuesday, both of which she very much enjoyed. Asking the bar tender, this place has combined with Fortress brewing and B52 brewing and is now 11 Below brewing. Definitely worth checking out for some good beers and a great atmosphere. I would have given five stars, but the two bar tenders were more concerned with chatting with their friends off in the corner than getting me another beer. Sat at the bar with an empty for at least 10 min. Had to wave my hand to finally get their attention. Not ideal.

Google
Nice place, nice selection of average beer. Self absorbed, sup par service. This was Fortress Breerworks. There is a food truck that people say is good.

Google
This brewery is honestly a favorite of mine. Its had me at my highs, and by god has it had me at my lows. I can honestly say they serve the best damn beer I've ever tasted, and trust that I've tasted my fair share across my many years. Love Jeff and the environment He creates!

Brian Chiu

Google
It looks like a warehouse from outside if you are curious. Staff are nice, beer is great but they don’t have many choices, pizza (from food truck) is amazing. I’m not sure just me or other customers may feel the same way, there were some flies and it was quite annoying.

Google
Love this place always looking for the brewery specials nitros and ipas. 4/19/2024 Update for 10th anniversary, at the new location. Still great beer and more room

Abby Love

Google
11 Below is a pretty relaxed environment. What you see is what you get. Optional seating outside. Honestly, I very much enjoyed the background music. We came at 5:30pm, a few group of friends, couples and my favorite was to see a dad drinking his beer while playing a board game with his daughter. Beer is pretty good too. You can see the company cares more for their beer than for the looks. Which isn’t a bad thing! It’s just a chill spot.

Google
I popped in with some friends this evening about an hour before close, and several people got drinks or flights. I picked out a flight from the varied options and it's served in a muffin tin! The parking is reasonable, the space is predominantly not air conditioned, but there are fans, and it's a mix of picnic tables and other tables. Drinking water was easily available as well as non-alcoholic options as well. Staff were friendly and it was nice to try another local brewery.

Adem D.

Yelp
I've consistently been impressed by their beers. Their stouts are some of the best I've ever had, bold and flavorful. In the summer, I enjoy their lighter ales like 7 Iron. I particularly enjoy Dublin Your Luck, a standout beer. Mass-market lagers lack the flavor and variety that this brewery offers. I recommend trying their beers at the brewery, in a bar, or finding them in a supermarket. Any beer lover would appreciate their quality.

Yelp
Ambiance: Large industrial brewing space with multiple picnic tables & high top tables located in an industrial park in the Willowbrook area - perfect for a game night, birthday party, day out with your dogs & kids, or hanging out on a weekend. Some parking onsite & TVs for watching a game. Small bier Garten patio area attached. They offer beer flights - totally recommend for trying new options! Limited choices for those who don't love beer - but that's every brewery. My husband is a huge beer connoisseur and really enjoyed our experience at 11 Below. For me, the ambiance was just a bit too industrial and lacking given that I don't always love ordering beers but that's mostly due to personal preference. I would come back for an event or to celebrate an occasion.

Kaileigh H.

Yelp
For being a Brewary, it was ok. They had a limited beer selection (different types) many of the same types of beers just different flavors. Atmosphere was good. We were there during trivia and it was ok. We wouldn't have known about this spot if it wasn't for a local taking us. It's hard to find is the only downside.

Maritza R.

Yelp
I was looking for breweries near home and stumbled upon 11 Below Brewing. They have plenty of beers on tap, something for everyone. The warehouse was a little hot but they have a "chill room" that has AC. So no need to worry about the heat. Plenty of seating all around. They also have board games. Seems like they have different food vendors on different days. I'll come back to try the food one day. Friendly staff and great beer = 5/5

Edwin A.

Yelp
Beer selection is top-notch, offering a wide variety of styles that cater to every palate. Whether you're a hophead looking for a juicy IPA or a fan of rich and malty stouts, you're bound to find something that tickles your taste buds. What really sets 11 Below Brewing apart is their "Chill Room". This little oasis provides much-needed respite from the scorching Texas heat, making it the perfect spot to enjoy some brews. It's a refreshing escape from the heat in the warehouse where the beer is brewed and poured. Overall, I have a very positive impression of 11 Below Brewing. Not only do they offer a great selection of beers, but they also provide a wonderful brewery experience in the Willowbrook area. So, if you're looking for a chill place to enjoy some delicious brews while escaping the Texas heat, I highly recommend paying them a visit. You won't be disappointed.

Arthur C.

Yelp
Warehouse district brewery. Food truck on deck and $6 pints. They've migrated away from the token system and now just have IMO overpriced beer. $22 pitchers if you know what you want which is the deal. Honestly, I expect cheaper beers in a warehouse with no air-conditioning. In the plus column the beer was tasty and the food truck gets good reviews (we didn't dine). Overall, not mad we came but can't see returning if there isn't a special event or something.

Walter M.

Yelp
It's a working brewery in an industrial park. Plenty of beer selections with large interior and a side patio.

Rick L.

Yelp
I would like to recommend 11 Below Brewing, great people, like Bryce who is extremely helpful and friendly and great beer. Try their dark beers -you will love the smoothness and flavor.

Rob B.

Yelp
I continue to sample their beers on a regular basis and I continue to be impressed. Their stouts are still the best stouts i have ever had. Bold statement, but they have some bold stouts. In the summer, I tend to gravitate to the lighter ales, 7 Iron is a solid choice. I am also really happy when I taste Dublin Your Luck, it is a great one. Life is too short to drink mass market flavorless American lagers. Go check out these guys at the brewery, in your local bar or supermarket. If you like good beer you won't go wrong.

Sharon S.

Yelp
Stop # 14 on the #FiftyTXBreweriesBy50Tour. 11 Below Brewing is a cool space to be in. The brew is quality. Lots of space, inside and out. The Java Space is available. An Imperial Coffee Milk coming in at 9%, it''s an 8oz pour and worth spending a token on. Bee Someone, a Honey Wheat Ale, registers a 6.9% and is delicious! $15 gets you a glass and 3 tokens. Each token is worth one pour. Get you some!

Cristina C.

Yelp
My go to brewing spot , when i visit family in Texas . 3 tokens (3 beers ) for 11 dollars is amazing . And the birria boys on Sunday is another plus

Connie O.

Yelp
Great get-away for those of us that don't live in the heart of the city. My visit to 11 below was a weekend day but wasn't overly crowded. They have picnic bench style seating in the brewery as well as seating on the patio. They had a good variety of beers and I was even given a few cider options as well. We were able to buy food from a food truck parked outside the brewer. Definitely a great location for the north side of town.

Pam H.

Yelp
Really nice selection of craft beers. Friendly and helpful staff and customers. Relaxing environment. Great relaxing place to spend time. Darts and stuff available for those that enjoy a little friendly competition.

Diane A.

Yelp
Excellent beer! There was A good variety of beers on tap. They also had a food truck with great bbq. Try the pulled pork. It melts in your mouth.

Britney G.

Yelp
It's nice to have breweries in Houston, especially those that are up near the suburbs (this one near Cypress/Spring). Even if you live out in the burbs you don't have to drive far to downtown to enjoy the casual vibes of a local brewery. They have a nice setup inside with lots of seating. They are dog friendly as well. They have a lot of choices on tap and are kind enough to let you try a sip before you commit. Food trucks are typically available outside for your convenience on the weekends.

Kevin C.

Yelp
While it's a ways out (live in the loop), it's a nicely done space, the tables being set in the middle of the brewing tanks and huge stacks of (empty) beer cans. Industrial and fun mix. Enjoyed talking with the owners - happy to discuss their beers, their approach, and the industry knowledge behind the name - go ask, and while there have a pint! Beers - Loved the stouts - great body and balance of flavors, recommend the coffee option...mmmmmmm. Other bright side - we were there to help Can'd Aid and Good360 assemble bikes for giveaway to local area first graders. Kudos not only to those organizations, also to the brewery owners for opening their space for this work!

Stacie K.

Yelp
no food at 3pmish. beers ok. just lacked any sort of ambiance

Kristen H.

Yelp
Our favorite brewery!! We love to come every week! They always have the best beer on tap and a good food truck.

Wonju R.

Yelp
We love having a fine brewery so close! Unfortunately we don't come here enough. We decided to stop by today to try their new Dublin me Luck Irish Red! It's a nice cream red. My favorite is still the Oso Bueno :) The brewery is in a warehouse, has picnic tables/bar tables (but you have to stand). As they are getting more and more popular, seating may be hard to find. I also like the option of the food truck in the front every time we swing by. The bartenders are pretty nice, one always asks if we brought our glass and we always end up getting plastic cups (I know, not eco friendly sorry! We will try to bring them next time). The place is kid and pet friendly. They have corn holes outside as well. You can also bring your own food as well - we had a birthday party for my husband few years ago and were able to reserve a table in advance as well as bringing in a cake!

Megan S.

Yelp
3 beer tokens for $12 win! Solid tap list with beers you can't buy at grocery store. Enjoyed 2 ipas and stout all solid beers

Alison Y.

Yelp
We were here for a brisketU cooking class. We had a blast but honestly I didn't have time to see all that 11 Below had to offer. It seemed to fill up around lunch. It seemed to be a happening spot for parties, kids, adult and anyone in between. I can understand why, the beer is delicious! I had a few while participating in my class and it was delicious! We will be back for sure!

Steven Y.

Yelp
We really enjoyed visiting 11 Below brewery. We had come to Houston for a little rest and fun and headed out to 11 Below to try the beers. The atmosphere was fun and the patrons and volunteers running the program were friendly. The best part of course was the beer. My favorite of the four beers we tried was the negative space. It was a deep rich and creamy stout the had great flavor and body. It is something that has to be enjoyed in smaller amounts with a ABV of 9.5% and a very filling beer. I also enjoyed the Oso Bueno which was a very enjoyable amber beer that is a regular offering at the brewery. It had a very drinkable flavor. We also tried 7 Iron, and Color Blind which were also great beers. The rotating food truck was delicious, so be sure to check their schedule and see what options will be available when they visit. They have limited hours so you really need to make sure you plan your visit. Thank you for a great afternoon.

Lucas A.

Yelp
Great place, great environment. They also have a huge fan. The beers are okay, but you can get pretty much all on the tap menu in stores. Otherwise, it's a great place!

Nancy M.

Yelp
Love the airy ambience. Beers are great! My favorite is the Taco Tuesday. They feature different food vendors and also have a running club!

Danielle D.

Yelp
Good beer, friendly staff and dog friendly equates to a good brewery. Only thing that could be improved would be more air circulation but it's a Houston summer so it's hot anywhere you go. Will be back!

Tracy D.

Yelp
As a native Houstonian, I love to try any and all breweries in the area. I came here for a Sunday Funday while visiting my hometown and had a nice time. With a warehouse type of location kind of off the tollway, it seemed like an odd location for a brewery. Once we walked in, we were very excited about it. It's an open space with lots of seating and standing areas. There's also a smaller outdoor part where you can play cornhole. You purchase tokens at the bar that you can then use to get pours of beer. They have a wide variety on tap and have some cans to purchase if you want to take any home. It was a pretty sweet deal considering you can just $2 more for a souvenir pint glass in addition to your 3 pours. I wish I was hungry when we visited this spot--there was a food truck parked right outside the entrance that served bratwurst. It smelled amazing, & is obvi the perfect noms to pair with your brews. The staff was very friendly and more than happy to help you find a beer to your liking. I would definitely come back here whenever visiting Houston again.

Jamie A.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place! Great beer made by some really great guys. My favorites are the Oso Bueno amber ale, Negative Space milk stout (which just released), and the Big Mistake Russian Imperial Stout aged in whiskey barrels. The place has a cool vibe and you can bring in your own food and just hang out with your friends drinking some awesome beer.

Emily M.

Yelp
11 Below is a great way to spend a Saturday. They have 4 beers to choose from (each detailed on their website, check it out before going), all of which are distinct and well crafted, and can satisfy the different desires of beer drinkers from hop-heads to someone desiring a lighter session. It's an open-air venue, I noticed a yelper below mentioned that they do not have fans outside, they DO have fans inside, so don't let the summer heat deter you. There are also copious amounts of picnic tables, so while you can bring chairs if you want, you are likely going to be able to get a table. The staff was friendly, their logo/merchandise/branding is catchy, and the brews were tasty. I look forward to seeing how this brewery grows and the different brews they come up with.

David T.

Yelp
Oso bueno! Hazy, so many options! Good atmosphere, I wish food trucks would arrive earlier, but you are there for the beer, and is relaxing, people are friendly.

Dan P.

Yelp
Only brewery that we had time for during our short stay in Houston but glad we stopped by! Hard to find in a way but we persevered and got rewarded! Beertenders were awesome, friendly, and helpful! Old school system of buying tokens and exchanging for beer. Nice!!! Next time in Houston, I'd definitely go back.

Ana A.

Yelp
11 Below Brewing Company famous for "Oso Bueno" Good beer...good company...what else do you need?!?

Sheri Michelle S.

Yelp
So Cool!!! The beer was great! Growlers, Koozies, T-shirts, games, picnic tables for larger groups and even food truck service! Lines sometimes looked long but the very friendly staff served everyone quickly and even offered samples if you were not already decided!

Jesse P.

Yelp
This place is a nice place to hang out and have a few drinks. My wife and I love coming here because they usually have different food trucks to try while trying the different beers they have. We live less then 5 mins down the road and it's usually our first choice to go out an unwind for a calm environment while enjoying your beverage. I would definitely recommend for fellow neighbors to support this business in our community

Kait S.

Yelp
Good beer. Their negative space stout and we be pubbing stout are excellent. Plenty of bench seating and dog friendly. They also have board games available.

Jeff B.

Yelp
Good beer, not great. Much better local breweries around. The worst part is a 12 Oz pour unless you want to buy or bring one of their pint glasses. No other brewery in Houston is that cheap. If it's on the way, I will stop, if not, I will just get a beer at my local wing p Have not been back but they just produced an IPA called Hipster Sauce. Great stuff

Ryan M.

Yelp
I bleed 11 below it's not just cause it's close to me and easy to get. But because you can't walk in here and not feel like you're home ! The staff!! Better than Chick-fil-A! They are personal ! They remember you ! What you drink and what you don't drink ! And their beer !!!! Absolutely amazing! I have been coming here for about 2 years and I feel like I won the lottery with how close it is to me ! So if you are wondering if you should give it a shot ! It's not even a question anymore ! If you love yourself you will come and try this wonderful place !

Tom P.

Yelp
Solid Drinkable Beer. 11 Below is located in a corporate park with plenty of parking, They typically have up to 5 beers on tap as well as a food truck. Pricing is fairly standard for brewery tours. Make sure to bring some lawn chairs.

Alicia V.

Yelp
Great brewery with tasty options and knowledgeable staff willing to help newcomers :) they have a couple TVs set up and long benches inside. There was a food truck posted outside as well.

Juliana O.

Yelp
What I would give to fly back to Texas and hang out here on a pretty Fall Saturday afternoon!! Strong cold brews, lots of laughs, games to play, food truck outside, party in the day kind of place.

Mickey L.

Yelp
This is a newer brewery with about 6-7 taps. I had a chance to taste the trade bait, oso bueno, and the red IPA (I forgot the name) but they were all delicious beers. You really taste the quality in their craft brews. The staff was also very friendly and they are quite social and promote their brewery by inviting you back. You get a since of pride from the employees and that isn't very common when spending your money. Check them out!!

Rhonda S.

Yelp
Seven Iron for me who likes light, crispy smooth taste. Ask Jeff, he is a knowledgeable assistant in pointing you in the right direction.

Minh N.

Yelp
A cool place introduced to me by my brother right in my neighborhood . This brewery has it all, great environment full of energy, art and music. And I haven't even mentioned about the beers yet . The 7th iron is amazing! Osso Bueno is smooth and full of character till the last drop . It's about time somethings like this is brought to the Klein/ Champions area

Jennifer F.

Yelp
What's not to like about this place? A local brewery started by a bunch of friends who have decided to make their passion into a business, with tasty beer to boot! We've been to 11 Below several times to try stuff out when they have a new release or just to hang out. 11 Below is still a working brewery, so that means the brewery is a no frills place to hang out. It's got a cool bar, and some picnic tables, but you're literally sitting next to a bunch of cans waiting to be filled and canning equipment. If you're next to the bar, you can see some of the casks waiting to be tapped. In the summer, there's minimal A/C, and they rely mostly on the giant fans overhead to keep the air moving. While you can get 11 Below in stores (always love having Oso Bueno in my fridge for when the mood strikes), going to the brewery is fun because they have several beers you can only get on tap or at the brewery. My favorite is the Negative Space Nitro, which I can only get at the brewery. 11 Below also has various food trucks come by on Saturdays for food. Like most of the other breweries in town, 11Below issues tokens in exchange for beer--$10/3 tokens. The food trucks that come around are usually pretty good, so it's definitely a great way to explore a new brewery and new food trucks. So while it's a bit of a drive if you don't live in the NW side of town, 11 Below is an awesome addition to the Houston beer scene.

Robert T.

Yelp
Best spot We've found. My wife and I bring our two dogs almost every Friday. They love the atmosphere and the dog treats...one star for making our dogs fat....Really great people and great brews. You can tell when the people working are passionate about their product and this shows big time at 11 below.

Shaq D.

Yelp
These folks really know what they are doing. One of the best breweries in Texas. I love me some IPAs, and their Hipster Sauce is a great IPA. I also drink red ales on occasion and their Color Blind is a good as it gets; malt-forward but plenty of hops. Great balance. Well-done, folks. Keep 'em coming!!!

Crystal S.

Yelp
Cool place in an industrial warehouse strip. Had 5 beers to choose from. I liked the Oso bueno and 7 Iron. They played a Beattie boy mix on the loud speakers. The crowd seemed like a Friday after work crowd... but it was a Friday after work when we stopped by. The bathrooms are spotless and that's a plus! The service of the beer servers are great! Plus they had a taco truck outside. Score!

Holly R.

Yelp
One advantage to moving to a new neighborhood, is finding all the new places we can drink beer! 11 Below is a new-ish brewery on the Northwest side, that is doing some great things with yeast. I was a bit disappointed to see so many IPAs as their focus, but their Oso Bueno is a solid amber beer and light enough that I won't be stumbling after a couple. The Negative Space is a delicious imperial chocolate stout, which I saved for last due to it's 9.5% ABV. So good, and me so drunky now. Make a trip out, stay for a while and enjoy the food truck of the day!

Emily T.

Yelp
Great place to hangout after work and a drink and a bite to eat "food truck"

Amanda L.

Yelp
This brewery goes beyond 5 star beers. They get 5 stars customer service. We arrive with our dog, immediately they offer me a doggy bowl and bring out the doggy treats. Our 2 year old doesn't want to sit still and while he's roaming I glance over and behind the bar they give me a thumbs up-looking out for him too. From offering samples to holding our growler in the back to keep it cold, this brewery treats you like family- even if it's your first visit- which it was for us. My favorite beer at the moment!

Daniel Q.

Yelp
My first time here and did not receive a positive experience. While taking a moment to ask my friend about beverage choices, An employee with "dr Phil" embroidered into his shirt began to say some belligerent comments. I heard him cuss to my friend and proceed to ask if I spoke English when I refused to play along and respond to him. I will not be coming back to this establishment.
