"This place has down home, scratch-made comfort food in a relaxed environment. Locals enjoy dining on fried green tomatoes, meatloaf, and slow-cooked pot roast. The pimento cheese burger featuring house-made pimento cheese and bacon and the fried Oreos are a must-try." - Courtney E. Smith, Leslie Chatman

Nice little place. Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. It was not crowded. Service was great. Food was wonderful. Hostess was helpful with asking about gluten free options. There were a lot of flies in the dining room. That was a little off putting. Overall, it was a great spot with tasty food.

Google
This scratch kitchen is amazing. Try starting with the fresh, prepared to order mozzarella sticks. The meatloaf and Southwest chicken salad are my favorite! The mashed potatoes are the best potatoes I've ever had. The pineapple martini is infused in-house with fresh cut pineapple and Titos. Service is always incredible!

Google
Impressed!! Seems simple— but the hostess opening the door upon entrance and exit bookended our experience up perfectly. Wonderfully trained staff, delicious food, and perfectly mixed cocktails made for a great date night! We’ll definitely be back (especially since it was all reasonably priced!)

Google
Location a little loud. The service is very good overall pricing on the menu is good. Had the chicken fried steak. The breading slid right off the meat. And had a greasy texture. The first thing that came to mind was like pulling the skin off a fish. The meat was tougher than an old shoe. Mashed potatoes tasted like instant. Portion size was good for the price. The pecan cobbler was amazing.

Google
My wife and I visited North McKinney and we decided to stop by this little gem. The food was good, I enjoyed the Swiss & Mushroom burger, but I do prefer my burgers to be more flavorful. My wife and I liked the Chicken Parmigiana. We also, got an appetizer of Onion Rings, they were beautifully made, like a work of art, but not the best onion rings I’ve had, but good enough. Overall, if I lived in the area I would definitely go back a second time.

My fiancé and I just tried this place yesterday. The food was phenomal as was the service. We will be back! I recommend the cheese sticks, and the pot roast!

Updates in 2025: Revisited again. Great as usual. Just adding more pictures. Previous review: Go-to place in our neighborhood. Food was always good. Fast service and cordial staffs. Must try: cheese sticks. Fish cakes were exceptional, originally only available in weekends, but they served us on a week day when requested. Thank you. Everything's good here, highly recommend.

Google
I was craving meatloaf for my birthday. Based on the rave reviews on meatloaf I chose to come here for my birthday dinner. The service I received was top notch. Our server really took care of my parties needs. She was training and the gentleman she was training was amazing as well. Very impressed with the service especially considering how busy the restaurant was. The food was delicious. Cheese sticks were the best cheese sticks I’ve ever had. My husband is very hard to please when it comes to chicken wings and he kept raving about how good those were as well. Meatloaf and mashed potatoes were really good as well. Prices here are very reasonable, especially in today’s economy. I definitely will be back. Thanks for helping me celebrate my birthday.

Yelp
Highly recommend this restaurant! Great food and service . We stopped for lunch! My husband had the Pot Roast lunch with French Fries with gravy! The gravy is amazing trust us try it!! I had the Chopped Salad with Chicken Salad on top! Loved the generous portion with lots of veggies and a great twist some chopped green olives along with a wonderful balsamic vinegar dressing! We will be back!!

Yelp
The place is a good option if you are around the area. It seems very popular for locals. - The food was good, but honestly it wasn't wow. It was well portioned, and it's the typical comfort food. They do have hamburgers, sandwiches, and salad options. - The service was extremely good. Our server Zita (I hope I am spelling that correctly) was on point with her recommendations, and very attentive. - Parking it's shared with all the other locals, so it may get packed at peak hours. - they have plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, and it's good for small and larger parties. They have booth, table, and bar seating.

Yelp
After a busy day, we grabbed takeout on our way home. We ordered the pot roast, meatloaf and catfish. The pot roast was seasoned ok, not great, but it was so tough. It's is served shredded and it had to be shredded using a mixer. There is no way meat this tough would shred. The meatloaf lacked flavor. I questioned if the "catfish" is really swai because it didn't taste like catfish at all. I prefer a cornmeal batter but this had a lot of flour. The mashed potatoes had a weird texture so I believe they were instant. The Mac and cheese was Kraft. The strawberry cake wasn't actually a strawberry cake. I'm not sure what kind of cake it was, but it had a strawberry filling in the middle with fresh strawberries on top. I thought the cake itself would be strawberry. I've had food from here a few other times and while I don't remember it being great, it was a good option. This place is now overpriced for the quality of their food. Truly disappointing experience.

Yelp
My favorite local restaurant for family night out. My husband thinks it's ok, but my son and I love it. :) There's something comforting about this place. The service is wonderful, the food is fresh and I believe local, and plated so nicely, and the desserts are yummy! My usual order is the boneless "wings" tossed with their sweet and spicy sauce with a side of Wedge salad. My son loves their cheeseburgers! Their sweet potato fries are perfect! I also really like their taco salad. If you like cocktails but not ones that are super sweet, try the Cucumber Chilton! It's refreshing, and tasty! Easy parking in the lot. Prices, good.

Chris P.

Yelp
If you give this place your money, make sure you dine-in. Do not order delivery or take-out, as you will likely be disappointed. This place has really gone downhill, in my opinion. Been eating here for years, and used to be a good local option. Every time I order delivery the order is completely wrong or the quality of the food is absolutely sub par for what you're paying. $20.53 for a club sandwich. I included a photo. There was mayo on every piece of bread, it was literally dripping mayonnaise. The bacon was mostly overcooked and solid fat. Very disappointing. This is atleast the fourth time my order has not met expectations.

Yelp
11/17 is our new favorite place! Not only is the atmosphere so relaxed, quiet, and super clean but the food & service is beyond excellent! Best pot roast I've ever had, amazing meatloaf, the hubby loves the blue cheese burger. Their fried green tomato appetizer is phenomenal! Queso, salsa and chips are super tasty too. My son had the chicken parmesan last time we went and said it was great as well! We cant wait to go back every time so we can try more of this fantastic food! Caden (I hope I got his name right) has been our server multiple times and he definitely earns every cent of his tip...so super friendly and takes great care of us each time. check this place out...you won't be disappointed!

R E.

Yelp
Great blackened chicken sandwich and tasty Old Fashions cocktails! Nice to have a local option that's not a chain

Chad J.

Yelp
Went for lunch, the service was excellent but the food was just average. Had the Cajun Chicken Sandwich and my wife had the chicken salad sandwich. Cajun chicken sandwich had more tomatoes on it than chicken. The chicken breast was about 1/4 thick at best. It was ok just did not meet my expectations for a good Cajun chicken sandwich. The chicken salad sandwich was worse unfortunately. The bread was great, the chicken salad itself was below average. Like it was made with just canned chicken and mayo..... no flavor my wife could only eat half of it. Onion rings and sweet potato fries are excellent by the way! Get your main dishes to match your sides in quality and this place would be great

Vanessa H.

Yelp
So incredibly grateful for this restaurant experience!! My boyfriend and I had to leave another restaurant due to discrimination before coming here and I'm so thankful we did!! Within 30 seconds of us being there, we felt so welcomed by the hostess then our waiter, Rick. We were so hungry and ready for some good food/service! We ordered their wedge salad and fried jalapeno/pickles as an appetizer and for our entree's, I had the blackened catfish with mashed potatoes/broccoli for my entree and my bf had the buffalo chicken fried sandwich with sweet potatoes. IT WAS BOMB!!! The vibe was the best, from our seat close to the bar, our awesome waiter, to fav football games on tv. Thank you to Rick for a welcoming experience. We will be back!!

Steve-Regan P.

Yelp
Foods super, service is hit or miss. DEFINITELY depends on your server! We had a lovely young man the first time and a less than impressive woman the last visit. She was unfriendly. Bottom line, good is great! Their cheese sticks are among the best I've ever had. Their breaded chicken tenders in general and mashed potatoes in BROWN gravy are amazing! (Pass on the steak fingers though... too chewy!)

Matthew B.

Yelp
The good - The wings were cooked to perfection...as was everything which was fried. Whoever was on the frier is a top end chef. The bad - The pot roast was insanely dry. The same meat used for pot roast was used for a French dip. Also insanely dry and not appropriate for a French dip. The fries and the fried okra were amazing...must of been the same chef frying the wings. I will be back to try the wings and other fried food. Skip the rest.

Lauren L.

Yelp
I've never had anything bad here! Their loaded fries, fried pickles, and chicken tenders are to die for! The staff has always been super friendly and quick. It's a fairly basic/southern decor style but hey, I come here for the great food and service, not the theme!

Melissa C.

Yelp
Just ok, not fabulous... We made an online reservation for 6:30 on Saturday evening, when we arrived the hostess had no idea what I was talking about. I did receive a email confirmation, but she didn't want to see it. She said, how many? I told her 2, 30 seconds later she looked at me and said party of 6? No, just 2. We were sat close to the bar. Next, our waiter was very abrupt and didn't seem pleased when we ordered water. Not everyone can drink, pretty sure he was also working the bar. I realize that helps their tickets and tips be higher, but I try tip extra with that in mind. When I asked about gluten free options as mentioned on the website? That somehow seemed like an insult to him and snapped back that you have the option of a gluten free bun on any sandwich. When pressed he did say that a couple of the meals were as well. The menu had a notation for meals without gluten, however nothing was marked. My boyfriend ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and pinto beans. Waiter said the beans were homemade and very good. The chicken fried steak and potatoes were very good, but the beans tasted straight out of the can. I ordered grilled red fish and asparagus with a salad. The fish was very good but needed to be served on a bed of rice and was a pretty small serving. There was no thought of presentation and there was nothing warm and inviting about the whole experience. Honestly, we can get the same level of food just about anywhere and be treated better most any place. Overall it was a disappointment and I doubt we will go back. A little bit of kindness goes a long way.

Yelp
First time being here and it was pretty good! Came here so my buddy could meet our newest kiddo and didn't realize how close this place is.... Atmosphere - 4/5 - Located off 380 and Stonebridge, it has a pretty nice layout. The tables are spaced apart, so I would consider this kid friendly. Staff - 4/5 - Very friendly. It was hard to get the attention at times, but overall, no issues. Food - 3.5/5 - It is not the biggest menu in the world, but I did enjoy a few items. I am on a health kick right now, so I didn't get to order what I really wanted. However, ordered the following: Loaded Queso and Salsa - 5/5 - This is really good queso. Definitely recommend. Cajun Chicken Sandwich - 3/5 - Nothing wrong with the sandwich at all. Just your average chicken sandwich. Definitely felt pretty healthy. Southwestern Salad - 3.5/5 - Substituted the Chipotle Ranch with Salsa and this was a very good and healthy salad. Kid's Menu - Mac & Cheese - 1/5 - It's Kraft. It's $7 for Kraft Mac N Cheese. My friend's ordered the kid's chicken tenders and this is what I recommend to get. Drinks - 11/17 - 4/5 - I did get a drink though and this was really good. It is made with Malibu Lime Rum and Peach Schnapps, so it is on the sweet side. If I had to order again, I would try the slow cooked pot roast. Overall, I would try this place again, as I never did get to try the other entrees.

Dexter G.

Yelp
Claire is our sever. The best server who is pretty attentive with our needs. I give her a 10. Ambience is pretty chic and classy! You feel different when you are inside. My family didn't expect this kind of place here and we found it. Food is great and we are fascinated because my children are picky when it comes to pasta and boy did their chicken Alfredo came out bette than any other place. Will post some other food we ordered and we had a great time during our dinner. I ordered the pot roast, chicken burger and marinara pasta for my child with one side and their special for that particular night.

Becky P.

Yelp
Great place for a home cooked meal! I like their meatloaf and burrata salad! The wait staff are really nice. They have a really nice frozen rosé

Trish F.

Yelp
We had a great early dinner. It's a casual restaurant that stayed busy but not crowded. We wanted comfort food tonight. The meat loaf was highly recommended. It was delicious, but I think the sauce was a bit too sweet for me and more like a BBQ sauce. I would ask for it on the side next time. Can't beat the homemade mashed potatoes & gravy and a nice dinner salad. The ice tea was noticeably fresh there. The kitchen was fast and the orders were correct. The best part was the server, Dillon, who was always flashing his great smile, as he provided attentive and perfect service. He really stood out as a happy young man and that made us happy too.

Jana B.

Yelp
Girl's lunch, way overdue! FOOD: The food was delicious! Two of us had the Monterrey grilled chicken that included a large roasted chili on top. Very tender and juicy! My sides were fried okra and asparagus, which were both outstanding too. ATMOSPHERE: Very contemporary vibe. Mainly for adults, but am sure kids would be welcomed too. SERVICE: we had a great waitress, who gave us her name (points for that) and was super attentive and timely. TIP: Save room for the cherry cobbler!

Michelle B.

Yelp
11/17 accommodated our large, rowdy group on super short notice. We were seated right away in the outside patio area - it was great for the kiddos. I got the southwestern salad which was the best salad I've had in a long time. All the ingredients were fresh and the chipotle ranch dressing was deeeeeeelish.

David A.

Yelp
Lunch today. First time. Excellent. Amazing onion rings. Great catfish. Friendly service. Will definitely try again

Greg L.

Yelp
While driving in McKinney recently we just happened upon this place and stopped by for a bite to eat. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the menu and the price point. Very reasonable. We both had mules, which were done with fresh mint and lime. We both had their known chicken salad sandwich and roasted chicken sandwich. Both were excellent. The loaded mashed potato was excellent. I would not hesitate to come back again. I definitely want to come back and try their meatloaf.

Lori P.

Yelp
We tried 11/17 out a couple of weeks ago with another couple. The food was good. The drinks were good. The only problem was it was so loud in there we couldn't carry on a normal conversation. We will try again, because it was yummy.

Grant M.

Yelp
Never disappoints, great service from the front door to kitchen. Fresh and basically homemade.

Nicole H.

Yelp
This is a nice place to go for a lunch date! Priced fairly. The food was above average and the customer service was A-1. I ordered the BLT with broccoli and cheese as a side. My Date got the Chicken parmesan. Both were delicious. I would recommend you give this place a try. We will be back!

Erica S.

Yelp
My bf brought me here for dinner last night for a spontaneous date. Parking lot was basically full and you could see the place was basically full. We walked in and were greeted warmly by the sweet hostess and seated immediately. At this point I'm already impressed with the service, decor, and cleanliness. Not even 30 seconds after taking our seat our waitress, which I failed to get her name, got our drink orders while we explored the menu. We decided on the loaded queso and salsa. And for the meal, I decided on The Cajun Grilled Chicken Sandwich and I chose the fries as my side and my bf chose The Hand-Breaded Chicken Strips w/ Cream Gravy and he got tator tots and fried okra as his sides. After putting in our order we maybe waited 5 min and our appetizer came out. So the loaded queso was one of the best I've ever had (I mean I love queso, it's my go to) the salsa had a good flavor and not spicy, kinda wish it had been but I know not everyone is for it. Let's just say we demolished it! Now for the main course, it came out about 15 min after our appetizer. It looked picture perfect (as you'll see in the photos I posted). Let me start off with the fries.. oh my goodness, CRISPY, CRUNCHY, HOT, just like I like it, my bf tried it and fell in love. The tator tots were also fire, not like any tator tot I've had. The friend okra was good, reminded me of the okra from Lubby's (which is good). Now for my sandwich, yum! The sear on the grilled chicken was to my liking and all the ingredients and sauces came together nicely, I would get it again without hesitation. My bf's chicken strips were breaded beautifully and tasted amazing, especially in the gravy.. there's a flavor in it would couldn't put our finger on but it made the gravy that much better. But all in all 5/5 on all the food we ordered. If you catch yourself in this area definitely stop in, you will enjoy it! I will be back soon.

Haley K.

Yelp
I had high expectations for this restaurant as the reviews are great. Sadly, I was a bit disappointed. We came for an early dinner around 5:30 pm and were seated quickly on the patio which is large and comfortable for a beautiful outdoor experience. We were greeted by our server right away and ordered appetizers, chicken wings with sweet chili sauce and original buffalo and burata salad. The flavors of this dish were excellent for both sauces but the chicken was a little dry and chewy. The salad was nice and fresh, I enjoyed it a lot. My main course was the slow cooked pot roast covered in brown gravy with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Again, great flavors but the meat was also dry and a bit chewy. I really liked the mashed potatoes and gravy. Hubby got a fan favorite of meatloaf, which we both thought was ok. I ended the meal with some fried Oreos, which I mean, yum right?! Overall nothing wowed me and everything was mediocre or OK at best. Great service though!

Moran D.

Yelp
I gotta say we had some expectations for this place. The menu looked great and the photos here on yelp are inviting. The place itself is looking good and has a good vibing atmosphere. We sat on the patio on a lovely day and that was a big plus. The service was very good and food came out super quick(maybe even too quick...). Also the meany is reasonably priced. But the the reason we are here for is the food..... We ordered wings and Burrata salad for starters. The wings were dry and crunchy(feel like the wings were not fresh) the Burrata salad was ok, a bit bland some salt and pepper did lift it up. I've had better. For the main course we ordered meat loaf and pot roast. Meat loaf was dry, felt like it was made hours back and kept warm all day till it lost all its juice. The sauce on it tasted like ketchup. The pot roast was also dry but way more. It was very chewy and some of it was even crunchy. Again a feeling it was in the heat all day. Less cooking and more fat should make this iconic but simple dish taste like heaven. The sides honestly not worth mentioning. For desert we ordered fried Oreos, first time for me.... It Avery simple dish basically a donut filled with an Oreo cookie . The presentation was taken straight from the 80's with powdered sugar and chocolate syrup random drizzle. For the sweet tooth among you it will do the trick. Overall 3 stars, food is 2.

Forrest J.

Yelp
Good food and service. Nice location they have an outdoor patio and a nice bar. Looking forward to trying it out next time I am in the area.

Michael B.

Yelp
It's nice restaurant service was good and quick. Appetizer we had the loaded queso and salsa. The salsa had a little kick which I loved. If you need extra chips its $1.25 charge. I had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes with a house salad. The tomato sauce was sweet if your into that but the meatloaf was flavorful, just a little softer than I prefer. If you need more sauce its an extra $1.00. -4star Wife had the chicken fried chicken with fried and mashed potatoes. It was missing the flavor honestly. -3stars Son had the corn dog and tater tots he rates it 5stars

Emily F.

Yelp
One of my favorite places! I've never had anything bad on the menu but the mozzarella sticks appetizer and homemade ranch are to die for.

Leonard L.

Yelp
My wife and I came here for a late night dinner. Carrie our server was top notch. We really enjoyed the chicken salad pimento cheese plate and the homemade meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans. It was loud ambiance. We would come again.

Caroline C.

Yelp
Nothing that made me feel like I really want to go back. Food wasn't incredible or bad, and the restaurant felt very cramped. I think the tables might be too close together? Service was great, our waiter was super friendly. Just nothing about the food and experience that makes me want to go back really.

Lindsay P.

Yelp
Service was good. Drinks were good. Food was ok. We sat outside...for some reason the inside smelled like sewer, but hopefully it was a temporary issue.

Paul H.

Yelp
Great service good is solid. They have a nice array of cocktails really live the old fashioned.

Tommy P.

Yelp
Excellent food that tastes fresh. Comfort food at its finest. Also, the service was good and decent portions.

Dell M.

Yelp
I have been to this establishment a couple times post COVID and have always been somewhat pleased with the service and the food until yesterday. As we entered the establishment we were greeted and seated immediately despite the blanket of heat in the building. We were a party of 3 with one late arrival. We communicated concerns for the heat twice and an adjustment was made on the second time. We had a very pleasant server named Zita or Zeeda who took our orders for drinks of 1 water with lemon, 1 plain water, and a sprite. 10 minutes later the late arrival who ordered a coke made it. Zeeda asked if we wanted appetizers and we decided on the Loaded Queso and Salsa. It arrives to the table lukewarm shortly afterwards. We decided to send it back because it was cold and replace with the Mozzarella Sticks. The cheese sticks comes out shortly and tasted of old bacon and fried chicken. Not the best but tolerable, we decided to leave well enough alone and didn't send them back. The server took our orders as follows: Philly steak and cheese without onions/bell peppers with steamed broccoli, fried shrimp with fries and a house salad with blue cheese dressing, and fried shrimp with green bean and a house salad with ranch. The food comes out shortly. The same issue comes to table with the shrimp overcooked tasting like old bacon and fried chicken. I decided to eat mine and my friend enjoyed the cheesesteak however my friend that also ordered shrimp decided that she could not stomach the after taste. The server checks in with us and my friend tells her that she is not pleased. Zita/Zeeda asks her if she would like something else and she responds no ma'am. The server grabs the manager and owner to address our concerns. The owner assures her nothing has changed and that the cooking oil is changed daily. My friend says ok and the team leaves to bring us the cheques. It is at this times things start to go left. The other friend ordered a drink from the bar, while we are waiting the bartender proceeds to bring the drink, place it down hard on our table, and tell my friend who ordered the drink that every time she come to the establishment she brings people and does nothing but complain and abruptly leaves returning to the bar. That the next time she comes and complains she will be banned. So me and my friends are surprised and perplexed by his outburst. We immediately grab the server who grabs the manager who grabs the owner. The owner gives us the cheques and attempts to leave without addressing our concerns when I stop her to address. Our discussion consists of her saying that the bartender came in to help on his day off and is having a bad day. She implies that we are trying to get out of paying for the food. She does not address that the bartender was outline nor welcome feedback that the food simply sucked. If you want to be treated less than with aggressive staff telling you off about their inconsistent food because they are having a bad day on their day off where they volunteered to come to work, I highly recommend 11/17. If you desire a different atmosphere please go to your to the local BJ's, Chili's, or Cheddar's.

Jim B.

Yelp
Excellent steak fingers, the white gravy was excellent. We ordered take out for delivery even after a 30 minute drive it was still very good. I plan to eat at the restaurant soon again. It was raining so we took the easy way out delivery. Next time I am going for the chicken fried steak.

Jim N.

Yelp
Food is excellent. They have a nice outdoor patio. Service is solid. Interior setting is fine but is not as good as the food.

Pben B.

Yelp
We went to 11/17 with several ladies and were greeted by our server Akhil. He did a wonderful job explaining the dishes. We had several appetizers and the dinner special. The redfish was delicious and presented well with the sides. We had the fried green tomatoes and the southwest salad and queso... All were very tasty

Holly M.

Yelp
There is no bad food at this restaurant. It is absolutely one of my favorites. If I had to pick a favorite it would be the roast beef and the cheese sticks.

Chanel J.

Yelp
Late Birthday Celebration with my Bestie! She's very picky & was pleasantly surprised of how incredibly delicious the food here turned out!

Christopher B.

Yelp
Food is decent but the price is definitely higher than the food quality. Not my first choice of a go to place but works in a pinch.

Amy E.

Yelp
We have been here numerous times and while the food is great the service is hit or miss. The bartenders have always been great, but they service 7 tables, the bar and the well. The hostess seems to be focused on opening the door and checking her phone while customers wait on refills. The bussers are not trained or they would help the servers service their clients. The waiters and waitresses stand against the walls while the people at bar seats wait on the overworked bartender. Overall, great potential but management is sorely lacking. The business seems to rest on the loyal locals who sit at the bar and not the service for the rest of the restaurant.

Nathan H.

Yelp
Cause that's my Birthday! Oh and the food is so good you'd think your grandma was in the kitchen!

Michael W.

Yelp
Well our 3rd try here. First time was good. We both had the pot roast and it was good like my mom used to make. 2nd time was a disappointment so we thought we would try again. Grilled chicken sandwich and Cajun grilled chicken sandwich were beyond disappointing. The chicken had a weird texture and my girlfriend and daughter had to force themselves to eat half. I had chicken fried steak. Gravy and mashed potatoes were good. Breading was good. Steak was tough as nails. I hate leaving a poor review but this place needs to get better control of their quality. I should have know there was an issue when it was noon on Sunday and lots of open seating available. Everyone else has figured out what took me three times. I hope they work to improve but I will not be back for another try.

Vicki R.

Yelp
The bakery item are fantastic. Service is great. Nice choice of seating options if you're meeting someone or just need to plug into the laptop and get some work done.

Lupe J.

Yelp
While visiting our son and his family last night in McKinney we decided to try this place out. To begin with we ordered via curbside pickup. The curbside pickup service was outstanding! As soon as we pulled up this young man walked out and got our name and came right back out with our order. (We did not have a long wait at all for the food to be ready) Now onto the food... omgoodness it was delicious! I also want to mention that the portions are HEFTY portions! So we ordered their pot roast, steak fingers, hamburger, veggie burger, fried green tomatoes, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, sweet potato fries and regular fries. I honestly enjoyed the entire experience the service and good were absolutely phenomenal!

Mario Z.

Yelp
Chris is the best bartender bar none. Friendly, personable, and makes the best cocktails (the BEST MARTINIS ever!!) The food is good, but Chris keeps us coming back 'cause he is THE best !!

Stephanie P.

Yelp
Our experience at 11|17 was delightful. Joe our waitress was welcoming, engaging, and a wonderful host as it was our first time! Joe's recommendations were delicious. We started our meal with the queso, salsa, and chips. The salsa was fresh and flavorful. The queso was a good balance of cheese and flavor. Delicious! We also got the Frosé with strawberry purée. This drink was tangy, sweet, and just the right amount of alcohol. I had the Grilled Chicken Salad with my chicken tossed in Buffalo sauce and their house made ranch on the side. The salad was fresh and delicious! I would definitely get it again! My husband got the meatloaf with mashed potatoes/white gravy and fried okra. Everything on his plate was full of flavor! You could tell the okra was fresh! The glaze on the meatloaf was full of flavor but not too heavy. The potatoes were the best way to top it off! Overall - this place is a hidden find in McKinney!

Yelp
Simply put: the food's good but not filling. One thing I'll criticize is the menu. There's a lot of "why would you put gravy on that?" moments when trying to decide what to get. My options felt limited because of the omnipresent gravy. I ended up ordering the blackened catfish to-go, hoping my hunger would be satiated since I wasn't in a "you get a gravy!" mood. Nope! $13.50 doesn't buy you a fully belly here. Instead, you get a thin sliver of catfish with your 2 sides of choice. I wish they doubled the catfish; it was disappointing. On the plus side, the sweet potato fries were superb. Not too crispy and not overly limp either. Everything was cooked and seasoned well, so I'll give them credit for that. Service was pretty good. Within seconds of pulling up to their curbside spot, someone was out with our food. It took her a while to bring our card back and the receipt but I chalk it up as them being busy that day. Overall, pretty good but I'm not sure if the menu is my jam.
