Made reservations for my friends birthday. Everything went smoothly. Limited menu options. Very farm to table kind of place. The mixed drinks were not very good. However, the food was good, and the dessert was even better. The atmosphere is very inviting and our waitress was very attentive. My friend and I took pictures and they came out nice.

This is one of the best meals I have had ever. The drinks are also fantastic. Its food with elevation but holding at its core warmth and heart. A must if you are in the area. And the service was simply superb. The chef and her hubby ( who is the butcher) have created something magical. They were even kind to received no issue with my service dog Mimi. Hope work brings me back to the area to come eat there again.

Google
Great dining experience. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the dark chocolate bread pudding was a revelation. Wonderful ambiance and excellent service.

Google
One of my top 5 restaurants ever! Food was amazing from the steaks and pasta. The Appetizers were memorable. Smoked oyster, pork belly, and mussels were very flavorful and delicate. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and the source of the food. We were there taking our son and his Basic Training buddy to dinner for family day and everyone in the restaurant was so kind to them. TOP 5 and I have been around the world.

Google
Love this place!! My Boyfriend and I have been multiple times, each time has been a great experience. Our waitress was super sweet and attentive both times. The oysters appetizer are an absolute dream! Never had a bad experience with any other food/ dessert ordered here. It is all very good, great presentation and taste. The Mulled Sangria was delicious. Perfect ambiance, the times we have been it is not too packed or noisy, feels very cozy in there and the staff are all professional. Restaurant is kept clean. One of my favorite spots for a fancy dinner downtown. Also perfect location being a bit further from the loud crowd on broadway, and closer to the riverwalk makes for a perfect date night. 10/10!!

Amazing atmosphere, our server, she was the best. There food, omg awesome.

Google
Outstanding little gem down by the Hoochie River. Ambiance and service are both 5 star. Their spin on the oyster app is exquisite. The biscuits are to die for. My steak was perfectly prepared but was a bit steep at 69$. Only real downgrade here is the bar and how they prepared the pecan old fashioned.. smoked presentation is legit (slo mo video wouldn’t download) but it’s too diluted with the ice. Would recommend avoiding that drink if you identify as a bourbon drinker.

Google
Great southern charm atmosphere and friendly staff. Fried okra and beef cheek were phenomenal!!! So was the smoked old fashioned

Yelp
We enjoyed excellent service, delicious food, and cocktails, in an innovative dining space. Our service was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed a celebration dinner at 11th and Bay.

Yelp
I went in with no expectations but heavily favored recommendations from friends. The ambiance was nice. Service was a bit slow but can't pinpoint if it was due to heavy traffic or short staffing. Regardless it took a bit for our server to come around. AC was not working properly so it was a kinda miserable. All these circumstances above do not factor into my review. My review score comes down to the food. For a restaurant that has a small menu, it must be hard to decide what items to offer. So I really wanted one item that was apparently sold out and someone else in my party was informed another item was also sold out. Not only that but I saw the item I ordered being served to another table. Maybe I missed the cutoff who knows? Either way honestly their dessert was the only saving grace. Hopefully someone else has a better time than I did.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, service, and food! We will definitely be back! The outside area is really nice too

Yelp
I visited on a Thursday evening around 7 pm and it was easy to get in and get seated despite having dinner reservations. The establishment is upscale and has an intimate feel to it. I ordered salmon on the menu and elected to have it prepared and served the way the Chef suggested which was medium rather than well done. It was delicious! Devin was our waiter and he was such a delight. He was very attentive and offered great suggestions. I plan to return in the near future to try the stew appetizer as well as other menu items. It has been over five years since I visited and I know for a fact this won't happen again. I'll be back!

Yelp
Location/Parking: Near the waterfront, nice location. Street parking. Ambiance: Rustic, but in an upscale way. Dark lighting, had nice seating outside as well to relax. Service: Fantastic. Nice, professional, helpful, everything you could ask for. Food: Server recommended the ribeye which was not on the menu and it was amazing. So tender and flavorful!!! Worth the higher price tag. The salmon was cooked well - not over cooked like so many other places. Table biscuits were cute/bite-sized and the apple butter was perfect with them. Recommendation: This is a place to go back to - great food, great service.

Yelp
Had a great time at 11B for dinner. Our waitress Madison was very nice and enthusiastic about the menu. She recommended the smoked oysters appetizer and they did not disappoint. The flavor was incredible and it really continues to develop as you eat it. The pork chop was one of the best I've had as well. Very tender and perfectly cooked with excellent char on the outside. All the roasted vegetables and purée were great too. All paired nicely with the Port Old Fashioned. I would love to come again.

Yelp
Another long time favorite that always delivers on excellent Southern food. While the menu changes, the pork chop remains one of the best I have ever eaten, and the specially cut wet aged steaks are a highlight as well. Having eaten here many times, one of my favorite aspects of 11th and Bay is their wonderful staff. They are really hospitality ambassadors of the restaurant.

Yelp
11th and Bay Southern Table is a great restaurant. Service and food quality are excellent. One thing I first was impressed with is the ambiance. The restaurant feels more like a place for special occasions and/or date option than others in the area. The food here focuses on quality and presentation. The food is fresh and seasonal so it changes depending on availability. We only ordered appetizers and drinks so I can only judge them for that but the limited options we did order were impressive. To start we ordered the pecan old fashion and the draft beers they had in season. All were great and refreshing. My old fashion was well made and presented well with the waitress coming to our table with a wooden box. The box was opened exposing the drink and pecan flavored smoke that infused with the drink. The appetizers we ordered were the oysters, smoked chicken and burrata charcuterie board. My favorite out of all them was the oysters. They were delicious and easy to eat. The hot sauce that accompanies the dish balances the rich oysters and aioli very well. Overall, this place is a great place to have drinks and food. No wonder why it's well rated for the area!

Yelp
We had a great experience! Beau was our server. He was fantastic! He explained the menu to us and we wanted for nothing during our visit. We ordered it all- appetizers, entrees, and desserts. We started with table biscuits that are served with a homemade jam that changes seasonally. My guys ordered steaks, they were perfect. I had the shrimp and Grits. Definitely an elevated recipe! We also had creme brûlée for dessert. Nice wine and bar list. Venue is beautiful farmhouse modern. *I was living in the moment and didn't take photos. *Restaurant is close to the river for a nice stroll after dinner

Yelp
I have never been to 11th and Bay. Please help me understand why I was asked to review this restaurant? I'm confused. Thank you.

Yelp
Ben took care of us, and he is gem. He is smart and perfectly present. The restaurant is beautiful. We started with the oysters, and it was an amazing bite. I had the bone-in strip steak, and it was cooked perfectly. I got the cajun butter seasoning, and it was very nice, but I wish I would have let the beef stand alone. We also had the blueberry cobbler. The blueberries were fresh picked, and it was UNFORGETTABLE. I have been fortunate to have dined in many places across the world, and this meal was as good as any I have ever had.

Yelp
Found this gem down by the water. Did not have a reservation on a Saturday night. Got lucky and had a two top open. If all else had failed we would have sat at the bar. An option many took I noticed as we left. Farm to table and locally sourced. Ordered up some signature cocktail. The Pecan smoked old fashion was ok but did not look like an old fashion. Our strawberry mint drink was good. Both 12 bucks. Limited menu with a few apps. We opted for the biscuits. Small but good and the apple jelly was good. Interior is country chic and tables are well spaced out. Noticed there was a room off to the side that a larger party could have to themselves. Our entrees were very good. Salmon was cooked very well and the homemade "tarter sauce" on top was very good. Not over powering but good. Snapper over risotto was also very flavorful. It was busy but not noisy. Food came out at a good pace and you could tell It was very fresh. As my son said "you can tell It was good because I am not full but I am satisfied with the flavor and the meal" PROTIP - park on the street at the top of the hill. Walk down Special shout out to our server Aaron. She was great. Engaging witty and had good suggestions.

Yelp
Ordered lamb porterhouse chops ? cooked medium. Received two lamb chops cooked rare, both tough to chew and cut. Sauce was very good. My wife had a filet about 6 ounces $70.00. will not go back Service was very good.

Yelp
Phenomenal restaurant! The food is some of the very best I've eaten since getting to Columbus. I got the pork belly appetizer followed by a pork chop dinner and I must say, the layering of flavors and textures in both dishes were amazing. I was impressed at the affordable prices too, considering the quality of the meal. Our server was wonderful and provided the happiest best service one could imagine. Don't pass this place up if you are in the area, it's on point at every level!

Chandler S.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant in Columbus. The food is delicious. We ordered the biscuits, mussels, grouper entree, and crème brûlée. All items were amazing. The service was fabulous and the ambiance is great. The noise level is mild to moderate depending on how full the restaurant is. I really recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
This establishment has Great food good service. You will find Easy parking and a nice clean restaurant.

Leana O.

Yelp
The food was very fresh and tasty! Very clean and neat restaurant! Love that they locally source everything and make it all from scratch. The waiter was super kind and was very helpful. We ordered the pork chops and steak, the portion were amazing and definitely get what you paid for! Highly recommend this place!

Yelp
Such a great meal - the amazing food and the attentive service made for a very nice evening. We had a party if 11 (and a party of 8 was next to us) and the staff had no problem at all getting our food out efficiently.

Monica B.

Yelp
Service was great. Snapper was excellent. My daughter had steak and fries. Unfortunately the fries were too salty that she couldn't eat them. Bread pudding was one of the best that I have had. My fiancée had the pork chop it was ok. I would definitely go back but order the fish.
google avatar

Rachel L.

Yelp
Bougie but okay. The biscuits were amazing. I also tried the smoked chicken leg and the steak special. You could taste the smokiness on the chicken, which enhanced the flavor a lot. The steak was also seasoned and cooked perfectly. Both dishes were tasty. The prices are higher than I would like but the food was good and similar to places like Ruth Chris.

Yelp
I was in town for a conference and was hoping for a good meal before the craziness of the conference began: I got a great meal. I arrived right as they opened, as I had to go set up my exhibit in the early evening. I opted for patio seating, which meant a lovely open-air (but covered) patio, with heat if I needed it. I began with Winter Thyme, a relatively new (I think) and delicious (I know) addition to the cocktail program, with gin, blood orange & ginger shrub, thyme simple syrup and blood orange juice. And then it was on to the food. At my friendly and knowledgeable server's recommendation, I began with the Southern caprese, a pairing of grilled green tomato and fried pimento cheese, accompanied by basil peach jam and creme fraiche (and I believe a little sriracha as an option as well). There was a fantastic balance between the grilled, somewhat acidic tomato and the fried cheese. For my main, I opted for the Comfrey Farms duroc pork chop, accompanied by butternut squash, brussels sprouts, celery & turnip root puree and apple mostarda. This was exceptional. The cook on the pork chop was perfect, with a little crust on the outside and incredible tenderness on the inside. The apple mostarda was a great pairing for the pork, and the vegetables were all nicely done and created a balanced main. This was one of the best pork chops I've had in a long time. For dessert, I went a little lighter (I was pretty full after the first two courses), with a chocolate and Grand Marnier creme brulee. It was very good, though perhaps not as special as the first two courses, probably just because it was less unique. All in all, this was an outstanding experience from start to finish: great food, friendly and efficient service, and a comfortable environment. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Cici G.

Yelp
First of all: I always look at the pictures before I go to a restaurant, so I need to warn you that they just took the Southern Caprese off of the menu. This restaurant is across the street from the river in a nice area. The inside was comfortable with nice decor. The service was very good. 5/5 - Spicy Mezcal: My husband asked the bartender to come up with a spicy drink. He was served Mezcal with slices of peppers in it. Now, my husband HATES Mezcal, and he loved this drink. He was very impressed. 5/5 - Shrimp N' Grits: Parmesan Speckled Grits, Benton's Country Ham, Peri Peri Sauce and Beurre Blanc. Excellent. 5/5 - Table Biscuits: With Georgia Jams Apple Butter. Delicious! 4/5 - Fried Burrata: This is what replaced the Southern Caprese. 4/5 - Pan Roasted Salmon: With Rainbow Swiss Chard, Baby Turnips, Mushroom Puree and Almost Rum Gastrique 3/5 - Bone in New York Strip: It was pretty good, but it had too much gristle (which is not cool at this price!) 3/5 - Roasted Chicken 2/5 - Smoked Pecan Old Fashioned: Impressive presentation, but just an "ok" drink.

Yelp
This was a great dinner. Definitely on the pricier end for Columbus, but worth the experience. We started with the oyster appetizer and frankly it is not the prettiest plate (sorry) but what it lacks in aesthetic it more than makes up for in flavor. (Arguably the best thing I have eaten in Columbus). We had patio season so I would say dress appropriately for the weather if you do too. Would definitely be back to see what they have on their menu next.

Gina S.

Yelp
This was our second trip to Columbus and we found this restaurant walking down Bay Street! We walked in that night for dinner and absolutely had the best experience and meal. We ended up going back twice during our last visit. Both of our servers were just precious and full of information. The head chef and owner, Heather, came out to talk with us as well after our meal! The menu is seasonal - my husband had steak both nights and said this is the best steak he has ever had at a restaurant (we think ours at home are typically better!). I had the seared scallops one evening and my daughter had the salmon and both were fabulous. My second trip - I had the filet and it was amazing! Appetizers - my husband loves jam and their biscuits with blueberry jam were a hit. We also had the okra with poblano sauce and those were delicious. The summer salad - just perfection. Both nights my husband ordered the screaming mussels and they were a table hit. Portions are perfect and the atmosphere is fantastic! I can't recommend this restaurant enough. It is a little pricey but definitely worth it! Depending on what day you go, reservations are recommended!

Yelp
My sister, a friend and I went for a bite last Saturday. We each ordered 2 appetizers for the table. They were all fantastic. A great feast before a show.
google avatar

Brittany L.

Yelp
SO GOOD & worth every penny. We started the evenings with a cocktail that was near perfection. Then enjoyed some delicious biscuits with apple butter jelly. A friend had chicken wings with fries and the restaurant was careful with her seafood allergies. I found myself scarfing down the curry coconut salmon that I will never be able to stop thinking about. The hostess was a little off and we felt awkward when she was yelling at a younger employee but other than that, this place is 5 stars.

Yelp
Bravo to the friendly bartender and owner/chef back in the kitchen for a fine first experience! We're new to Columbus -- well returning after more than 50 years away. Having lived in New Orleans for many years, we've come to know and need great food and good service. Even on a busy Friday night we found it at the bar here. The spicy red sauce that topped our shrimp and grits was just enough to get our attention (we shared) and the fried okra were fresh, warm, and perfectly battered. The ambience was "warehouse chic " in the best sense of exposed brick and whitewashed wood beams. We're planning to return soon to enjoy a quiet midweek evening.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came here while visiting Columbus, GA. The first thing I noticed upon entering was the hickory smoke aroma--something very comforting to the senses. Then, there was the food. Our server recommended two starters from the menu: the southern caprese salad and the watermelon and pork belly. We also got a third starter of mussels. In the Georgia heat we experienced that day, these starters together made the perfect versatile meal. The watermelon and pork belly is a fresh take on a favorite barbecue selection. The mint, ginger, jalapeños and vinegar helped marry the melon and meat. The southern caprese salad is a double layer of fried and breaded pimento cheese and grilled green tomato. It turns the dish of fried green tomatoes topsy turvy, but it is worth it. Don't forget to occasionally spread some of that peach purée, even if it is not in your everyday diet. The mussels were also perfect--fresh and perfectly cooked in a buttery white wine sauce. Our server was also nice enough to bring out some extra garlic bread for collecting the sauce. I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted with a smile and immediately sat!! Our waiter was awesome and had great recommendations of our food options which we chose!! Thank you!! Probably the BEST SHRIMP AND GRITS WE HAVE EVER HAD!!
google avatar

Yelp
Sat at bar. Arrived late. The folks around me were lovely and chatty. The staff was great and the ambiance was a southern eclectic cool. The chef/ owner came out at the end. He was incredibly nice Had the pork chops and they were fantastic.

Yelp
Great ambiance and the shuck the oysters in front of you!! Love the varieties as well.

Yelp
We visited 11th & Bay for a seated meal for the first time in about three years. We used to love this restaurant, but had only sat at the bar and had apps in recent years. A couple of things surprised us and not in a good way. First - there were no sides available. They used to have wonderful collards and other sides to add to your dish or share with the table. (There wasn't even a salad to add.) Second - they used to have an amazing coffee-rubbed ribeye at a reasonable price. By that, I mean around $35, which is competitive with three other really good restaurants in the city. (Locals know which restaurants I'm talking about.) We were floored to find out they now have in-house aged, hand-cut steaks at market price, which at the time was $65 and $75 each!!!! What???? Holy cow. It was a shocker. Needless to say we did not order steak. (The tomahawk steak at Epic - notably the "most expensive" restaurant in town - is that price.) It was just very surprising to see the menu cut down so far. No chicken dish at all. Two fish dishes (scallops and redfish). Cannot say I'll go back.

Yelp
Great Southern Inspired upscale Dining! The servers and owners make you feel like family!

Yelp
We had a large party and we all throughly enjoyed ourselves. The menu was not cheap but well worth the meal. A nice variety of cocktails plus one very special "smokey" bourbon. You will not be disappointed on the shores of the Chattahoochee River.

Yelp
My husband and I went here to celebrate our anniversary. I am new to the area but he has been here before for schools at Fort Benning/Moore and now we moved here. This is definitely a fine dining establishment because of the seasonal/fresh options offered and the service is high quality. I have worked in fine dining and know quality when I see it. My husband inhaled his food & eats double what they serve, that was his only complaint. I absolutely loved everything. It is reservation only unless you sit at the bar. My scallops were the perfect texture, they had a potato purée on the plate with sautéed spinach and pickled beets. The atmosphere is classy southern. They offer outdoor seating as well as rooms for larger groups.

Tom H.

Yelp
Loved this restaurant. Sitting outside under the misters was a great atmosphere. The waiter was very attentive and professional. On a future Columbus trip, 11th and Bay Southern wil be my choice!

Nicole R.

Yelp
This is the best restaurant in Columbus...hands down. My husband and I have been trying to visit all of the "popular" restaurants in town before we move, and this is the one we wish we visited sooner. The service (especially the host (I think his name is Blake) and Erin), drinks, and food are all phenomenal. If you have not been here, I truly urge you to make a visit. You won't regret it. For food, we get the burrata, steak, and shrimp and grits. All delicious. The heirloom margarita is so different and delicious. 11/10 recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
We were in town for a conference and had reservations for 4 at another place but our party grew in size and the other place could not or choose not to handle us! We called 11th and Bay and they went to extreme measures to handle our group that grew from 5 to 8 and more. I am so thankful for their gracious hospitality. And that was just the beginning! The drinks were so creative and delicious, The service was impeccable and the attitude of all staff was welcoming and kind. Now for the Food! Wow, the snapper/tile fish was outstanding as was the steak, the shrimp and grits and the pork chop! Everyone was so happy we ended up at 11th and Bay! Thank you for a wonderful evening

Yelp
We stopped in for dinner this evening. The staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful. We were seated on the patio and it was perfect. They had heaters and great blues music playing. My wife had the pecan smoked old fashioned and it was delicious. We had the southern caprese and it was truly delicious a great twist with the fried pimento!! Angie had the scallops and I had the pork chop for the main course dish! So worth it!! The food is all farm to table and very fresh! Finished up with coffee and bread pudding!! Our server Bo was so helpful and his recommendations were on point.

Yelp
I don't say this in jest but this was one of the best pork chops I've ever had. I don't know if it's better than the "Hunt and Fish Club" in NYC but it is right up there. Cooked perfectly. Amazing flavor. Right portion. No grizzle. Just perfect... Nice wine by the glass selection and amazing service makes this place a must check out when in Columbus, GA. 100% would come back here.

Yelp
Favorite date night spot!! The salmon is incredible, and the shrimp and grits are very good too. You have to get the table biscuits with apple Butter. And great wine selection and Smokey bourbon cocktail! Highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful venue, cute farm style decor and DELICIOUS food! Take a nice walk around Woodruff Park while you're at it!

Yelp
Wow wow wow is all I can say! I dined at 11 and Bay on Valentine's Day of all days. I was in town for a business trip and we had reservations for 8 for 10 of us. I totally expected to wait but we were seated immediately. Since it was Valentine's Day, they had a prix fixe menu - which was outstanding (see below). My first course was the burrata plate, which was so beautiful i almost didn't want to eat it! My second course was a cauliflower steak which was seasoned to perfection and the cauliflower was perfectly cooked - not too firm but just right. The main course which just blew me away was beef tenderloin. Not only was the beef tender but the crab pontchartrain sauce was easily one of the end sauces I had ever had in my life!! For dessert I had the blood orange sorbet which was in champagne - a perfect end to an amazing meal! What made the visit so amazing was the outstanding service. They didn't rush, the restaurant wasn't crammed and even though we had prime seating I never felt as if they were waiting for us to leave. Having to be away on Valentine's Day was made better by this dining experience. Can't wait to come back to Columbus to visit again!!

Yelp
That Bone in pork chop I tell you was amazing. The appetizer were also great. My favorite were the smoked oysters, the flavor is amazing. I advise you to get both of them..

Christian P.

Yelp
Table biscuits: a triumph. Deconstructed apple pie. It is an amazing dessert, and better a dessert than a starter (where it is currently placed). Smoked oysters: a little expensive but damn this is incredible. The meat is literally the texture of butter. Service is always lovely and friendly. Decoration is confusing, but not in a way that is necessarily compelling.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant with lovey character. We had a couple appetizers that were amazing. The smoked chicken ghost pepper was like nothing I've had before. My wife ordered the shrimp and grits, I sampled it and my god, the best grits I've ever had in my life. I had the bone in pork chop and it was nothing short of amazing and far far exceeded my expectation. Everything everyone ordered appetizer or dinner exceeded expectation. We ordered one of each for dessert. Bread pudding was the best I've had. Cheese cake was the best anyone has ever had at the table. One person said "this meal will be a treat!" And everyone agreed they'd remember this for a while. Top notch at every turn. Exceeded expectations at every turn. Everyone left full and happy. This place deserves an extra star.
google avatar

Danna T.

Yelp
Wow! We were blown away by our meal here. I'm not usually a fan of oysters, but the smoked oysters were absolutely phenomenal - it's a must order. Main courses - salmon and tilefish were very yummy and tender. The coconut curry salmon paired with the bok choy and ~forbidden~ black rice was great. Couldn't say no to dessert and ordered a bananas foster cheesecake. Delicious and not too sweet or artificial tasting. Not your average Cheesecake Factory slice. They carmelized the bananas and it all tasted awesome together. Would definitely return to this place and give the other entrees a try & devour more smoked oysters while at it.

Brian R.

Yelp
Good food (best shrimp & grits I've ever had), friendly wait staff, good location and a charming place. A win all around.

Yelp
This is our go to place for date night dinners. The food is always excellent and the service is always on point. Jen was our server and did an outstanding job. Actually learned we shared the same birthday. The owners are always waking around and talking to the customers. They are truly appreciative of the customers. The Southern Caprese is out of this world good and had a little extra smoked flavor last night. My wife had the pork chop which is always flavorful and I had the snapper over Parmesan grits which was delicious. The food here is always packed with flavors. Normally we don't order dessert but they had a peanut butter creme brûlée that was absolutely fantastic! We love dining at 11th and Bay!
