My wife and I love ambers (reds/vienna lagers…etc) and this might be the best brewery we have come across for them! Their stout- Sapper was fantastic as well! Veteran owned, the pride taking in all aspects of this venue cannot be overstated

Absolutely awesome craft beer! Family friendly and such a great owner by the name of Joe! This is a must stop anytime we visit Dripping Springs.

We were pumped up to finally visit after 1.5 years away. A mixed review. Family friendly, 4⭐ games, play area! 😔However, we arrived close to opening on a Sunday and there was trash in the play area. Please trim the trees so we can maneuver through the area and see our children. Big kids miss the draw bridge. The baby swings are facing each other too close to each other and one doesn't have proper safety straps. 🙂Sunday has family friendly activities, crafts and board games inside. That's where we stayed mostly! Beer 5⭐ First Start Hazy IPA was fantastic! Food 3⭐ Needs a separate review, so for here... Menu has changed, burgers were too red, just not good. Staff 5⭐ kind, friendly, Miss Lynn was helpful with the children at the craft time!

We love this brewery and visit often, always bringing friends and out-of-town guests along! The staff is amazing, the beer is delicious, and the atmosphere is fantastic. The food trucks never disappoint, offering great options to pair with your drinks. There’s plenty of parking, and both indoor and spacious outdoor seating make it a great spot year-round. They also do a great job supporting veterans and first responders, which makes us love them even more. If you get the chance, check them out during live music or special events—it’s always a great time. Highly recommend!

Owned/operated by Veteran and his family. The place has a great hill country biergarten feel with plenty of room for kids to run around. The beer selection was a perfect balance of traditional and unique options. Definitely one of the best breweries I've ever been to in Texas!

A family favorite! We have had a rehearsal dinner party here, gatherings of many sorts and enjoyed several holidays (Foxtober Fest, July 4th and Mothers Day). The owners are amazing and very welcoming. I’m a cider girl, myself. But there’s something for everyone!

A wonderful chill hill country brewery in the Dripp. Please read the other reviews as it's a great story about 2 GIs who met each other in Germany and shared an appreciation for German bier. There is a beer for everyone from some high ABV German-style beer to a wonderful Czech Pilz. There is a spacious deck with heaters and additional seating on their property. They had a fire pit going when we were there which was perfect on a cool December afternoon. From their website: They brew seasonally small batches which allows them to not use preseratives. This alone will have me coming back for more of their seasonal offerings. Fox 12 is fido and kiddo-friendly so bring the gang and support this wonderful brewery!

We went for St. Patrick's Day, and had a great time. The beer is always outstanding and very reasonably priced. The staff is very knowledgeable and very friendly. Long line for beer but it moves quickly. Have a great play area. If you have some kids it's dog friendly, and they had some food trucks with some outstanding very ambitious food selections.good barbecue on one and pierogi on the other.

I like this place. Its large, plenty of seating and who doesn't like a beer with a 10% abv? I was in dripping springs and put this spot on my list. I'm glad i tried it because i will definitely be back. The only part i didn't like was there is no, none, zero indoor seating. So when its hot, babbbby its hot!

OMG y'all! What a great place to enjoy a laid back Sunday! I'm sure other days would be fine as well. The day we were there they were having an ice cream contest so we were able to sample some local frozen treats. Love the outdoor area. Picnic tables scattered around for seating, big play area for kids and seating area around the stage where they host local music artists. The selection of beer is incredible. My husband is the beer expert as I look for the ABV rather than the color or taste. Make mine a high one please. We enjoyed just hanging out and had a bite from the food truck. It's a nice place to sit back, enjoy a beer (or two but drink responsibly) and take in the laid back atmosphere. Really love this place.

Stopped in on Saturday afternoon while in the area. Great place to hangout and enjoy their very good beers. Atmosphere's was very comfortable and friendly, while your there be sure and buy a veteran a beer while you're there.....

BLUF: Wide open, dog-friendly, outdoor venue with space and accommodations for live shows, playgrounds, and group meet ups. The food from Gummie's barbecue was great and I didn't even need the barbecue sauce. Attentive service and a variety of beers/ciders to choose from. I was running an errand in Dripping Springs and looking for something to break the trip up to get back home. Luckily for us, we wrapped up right as this place opened up but there were already 2 families there meeting up and children taking advantage of the connected playground. There was plenty of parking and there's an overflow lot on the right. Since the temperature had been above 100 for the past few weeks, it was a breath of fresh air to be able to enjoy a covered outdoor area once again. As you pass the playground and approach the main bar area the first sign that caught my eye was the "Buy a vet a beer" sign, some really nice looking merchandise, and a very welcoming bar and staff. Food-wise, I headed to the Gummie's barbecue truck and ordered the brisket grilled cheese and the Kings sliders from the kids' menu. Both were amazing! The brisket in the grilled cheese and the pulled pork in King's Hawaiian buns didn't even need any sauce to be delicious! I won't go into the beers since everyone has their own taste but there was a wide selection and the bar staff was willing to let us sample before we made a choice. Going back to the "Buy a vet a beer", my girlfriend walked up and ordered and asked if she could buy a vet a beer, me :-) with neither of us knowing how it worked. We were immediately told that my first one was covered and graciously denied my attempts to buy two more for the next ones because they just wanted me to enjoy my time! It's a great concept and was icing on the cake of an already great visit. I'll definitely be going back if I'm in the area!

Great atmosphere and delicious craft beer! These are also wonderful people to support as they constantly give back to our community and to those veterans who have served to protect our country! Food trucks are always serving excellent fare too!

This was our second stop on a beautiful Sunday. The weather was gorgeous this place has plenty of outdoor seating which I loved. I decided to have the wine rose' it was smooth and a great finish. Leon had some beer which he loves. The entertainment was nice. It was a great experience for me and I'll definitely be back. We had an awesome Sunday thank you 12 Fox.

I came here on a motorcycle ride with my Combat Veteran Association January 22nd, 2022. It was my first time here and it is on a beautiful road in Texas Hill Country. The company is Military Veteran owned and a very family friendly property. There is a play area with a jungle gym and lots of picnic tables outside as well as a smaller covered outdoor seating area. I honestly didn't see an indoor seating area so I'm not sure if there is one. The covered seating area is where the bar was to order your drinks. They had about 12 beers to choose from some I did a flight of 4; 3 lagers and 1 stout. It was only about $11. The flight was four four ounce pours. They also serve some local wine if I recall. There was a food truck on site serving up great bbq. I had their turkey sandwich and a cup of beans. Both were extremely good. The turkey was freshly smoked or bbq'd and perfectly tender. The beans was saucy with their sausage and veggies. For $15 I was stuffed. They also had small buzzers to give when ordering so you knew when it was ready and worked on the entire property. I really want to return here on a warmer day and in the spring and/or summer. The same road this is located on also has a winery or two I believe so it would make a very good day trip or even weekend adventure to the area to explore all the local spots.

So this place is just getting started and is all.outside. It is run by 2 ex military guys- 12 Fox- was unit name. We really liked the ambiance- outdoor seats (can bring a picnic to accompany beer. Kid and dog friendly), but a nice band that played a variety of music. The beer was tasty. I hope these guys are successful in their mission.

My husband and I stopped here after a hike in pedernales state park. My husband had been here before with his motorcycle group. He told me veterans get their first drink free. Score! We ended up with a cider for myself and my husband got a beer. We grabbed some BBQ from Gummies to eat for an afternoon snack. Definitely grab some brisket from here as it was solid bbq. Bonus for me, it was both gluten and dairy free. Overall a nice chill environment for an Easter Sunday. There was live music, people watching, and good vibes.

The area is nice and spread out with a ton of room for kids. We loved the shade and separation of everything. The idea that this was founded by veterans and gives back to veterans is amazing. The beer itself, I was personally disappointed in. It was too "heavy", if that makes sense. We tried 3 and one I enjoyed but didn't love. It seemed like they were heavier/stronger than they should've been. Plus a lot of "froo-froo" drinks such as mead, etc. made up half their offerings. I get that you need some for people that don't like beer but they had too many.

Obviously love this place!!!! The environment is great and so is the beer. I would give it 5 stars but I feel like the food truck selection has gone down hill. Hope they plan on revamping food choices. Overall, I'm always coming here if I'm in dripping.

Wow!! I can not say enough awesomeness about 12Fox beer!! We originally came just for Foxtoberfest and to have a vendor booth! We thought we were working our booth but we just plain had so much fun!! We come here all the time and it is always so much fun! There is food, great drinks and a great family atmosphere! I love e that thru have wine on tap and even hurricanes and margaritas!! I can not wait to go back!!

My first and only time visiting, I happened upon the best Oktoberfest celebration this side of the Atlantic I have been to yet! What an awesome accidental event to stumble upon, although I'm sure I would've had just as great of a time here were it just a regular weekend. Great beers, fun crowd, lively polka music, very cool artisan craft fair, and one heck of a time in a beautiful beer garden setting. Well worth the drive from Austin if you're visiting!

The outdoor venue is wonderful during the fall and spring, but beware the hot of summer! The beers are quality, and the pricing isn't bad at all.

Yeah, we really dig this place. A wonderful and eclectic variety of beer choices await for you to explore. This is also a pet friendly And kid friendly place too. Sit under the picnic tables and watch the world go by while you enjoy some of the best beer we've ever had. I also would like to mention the food menu it's pretty solid two. Come on out and get some all over you!

Enjoyed Octoberfest at 12 Fox Beer Co in Dripping Springs this past Sunday. What an awesome event with vendors selling all kinds of things, food trucks providing some delicious victuals, the Reed Meisters playing some great Polka music, and 12 Fox serving up some incredible beer. Without a doubt...12 Fox brews up some incredible beers. I really loved the Negro Sombrero. One of the best and smoothest beers I've enjoyed in a very long time.

This place was recommended to me in a local group I'm in with fellow America lovers! The only thing I'm disappointed in is not knowing about it sooner. Great atmosphere, great service and great beers and I'm not a beer drinker. There is something for everybody. When you visit a place like this your faith and hope in our country will be restored. The news and maybe even your own neighborhood/community could be negative or living in fear of what's to come, get out.. turn off the tv, hang around your fellow Americans and breathe in some good ol Texas Hill Country air! Does a body good. If that doesn't make your mouth water then stay home... Food Trucks! Live Music! Veteran owned! Dog friendly! Face friendly! Goof folks! Oh and beer! Cheers!!! Merica!!

We absolutely LOVE this local (veteran owned) BREWERY!!! They have many of their own beers on tap (featured beers change often) and they also feature other local beer, wine, cider and mead. It's a family (and dog) friendly establishment featuring an awesome tactical playground! They have food trucks, live music events, and seasonal family fun events. We are happy to have them in our "neck of the woods". The owners are kind and always welcoming! We hope they stay around for a long time to come! They have over 80 picnic tables spaced outside across the property, so you can pick any table that fits your style! Clean restrooms! Free to use water and ice machine! Changing table! Rona Rules! Great place to have an outside birthday party or celebration! The list goes on and on!!! At at time when our local businesses are struggling to stay afloat, and many are threatened with permanent closure, we are happy to support local business! 12 Fox has gone above and beyond to give back to the community, help neighbors, and support other small businesses at a time in need.

Oh, what a great find! The hubs and were out brew hopping a few weeks back and we saw a sign on the corner of a crossing that stated "12 Fox Beer Co" [insert arrow]. Any of you who know me at all know my great penchant for craft beers, especially local, and I'm always up for a new brewery. So, turn left it was. Parked in the large gravel lot. Walked up the trail to the building - HUGE kiddo playscape - I wanna slide! :) Very chill, nice place with a great patio and lots of other outdoor seating. The proprietors/brewers are Army Combat Engineer veterans who learned about and found their love for beer while being stationed in Germany. Hence, they dozen lineup of Euro-styled offerings. They use single sourced malt and rainwater to create crisp, clean suds that aim to please. Of course there's hefe, pils, saison, dunkel...they also do a solid IPA. Highly recommend! Really great folks, brewing their best, and serving one of the most outstanding charcuterie and cheese boards I've seen anywhere...no joke (and you might know that's also my "thing"). Go hang out in the Texas Hill Country, sip a cold one, get your snack on, and listen to live music on select nights. If a band isn't playing, some locals might start a impromptu jam session. What else could you ask for? Cheers! Note: at time of last visit was informed they were going to have 2 food trucks on-site. Icing.

We have visited 12 Fox the past two years as a part of Barks for Beers and have enjoyed coming here both times. I highly recommend you check this place out!

Cool brewery!!! Great for adults, kids, and dogs. We walked up to find a great musician was playing on a stage, there was a food truck ready to serve, there's a big wooden playscape for the kiddos, and the beer was good! I really liked the Czech Mate. I saw a frisbee golf net with some discs, too, but I didn't explore that further. We really enjoyed our time here!

My daughter and son in law had their rehearsal dinner here. The ambiance is so nice. An outside area to sit that is partially covered. The bbq food truck had closed due to a storm that had come through, but the employees that were still there took care of us with some of the best bbq I have ever eaten. Five stars all the way!

We went here last weekend for their Oktoberfest and it's a cool place. I had the heifewezen with coke. I really liked it. They had a polka band that was really good. We went hoping to dance some polkas to the band but unfortunately it's not set up for that kind of dancing so we left to go to a dance hall. The bar is covered and there were misters so it was really pleasant at 7 pm despite the 90+ heat. kid and dog friendly and there is a picnic table area with shade as well. Plenty of parking. The beer menu looked very interesting would like to go back and try some of the others.

Such a beautiful place to enjoy a few drinks. Very kid friendly with a big play area. Super friendly staff and patrons. Lots of cute caterpillars crawling on the tables under the trees. I really liked it here.

This is an amazing brewery located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country! The owners and staff are really great and think of everything to make their customers and friends welcome and safe. Wide open spacing for picnic tables, posted Covid rules, great brews, food options, big oak trees, fire pits, a kids playground and live music on the weekends almost all year!

We have so much fun at 12 Fox, every time we go. I love their beer, their location, their food trucks, and the people. It's always a great time, and worth the trip.

Brought the family here hoping to find an outdoor beer garden with lots of space: what ought to be the perfect COVID-safe situation for a relaxing evening. Instead we found a business observing no COVID safety precautions whatsoever other than a chalkboard a-frame asking patrons to stay 6 feet apart, a guideline which I seemed to be completely alone in observing. Not a single member of the staff was wearing a mask, nor were 95% of the clientele while ordering at the bar or moving around the establishment. No capacity controls were in place, and the place was generally indistinguishable from a pre-pandemic beer garden. A ton of wasted potential here, it's a shame the business owners aren't interested in being responsible members of the community and taking basic safety precautions.

We've been here a couple times now, and both times we've loved it! It's all outdoors, so if you don't like that I would not show up. Plenty of seating, and you go up to the counter to order and get your stuff right away! This last visit we got the raspberry Meade, it wasn't too bad... Don't think I could drink too much of it though because it is so sweet. There's a playground for kids so parents can hang out while their kids have some fun too, lots of times they have a live band or singer playing. There's easily accessible restrooms, and a food truck if you get a bit hungry. Overall wonderful spot that's out of the way and away from the craziness... Just go here!

This 95% outside facility is just the best. They allow more than the needed room based on the restrictions in place, and have so much open space, there is freedom to chose your seating. They are meeting or exceeding Covid restrictions, in every way and every day. Beautiful, well kept lawns, with trees and tables, its just a pleasure to visit. Delicious beer, great people, and the tastiest food trucks I have ever had. I highly recommend them.

Can't say enough positive about this place. The folks behind the bar were extremely friendly. The tables are socially distanced and we felt very safe. The beer was absolutely amazing. The beer was absolutely incredible. They seem to focus primarily on Belgian style beers, which is my absolute favorite, but they have some IPAs that will appeal to the hipsterist of hipsters as well. We also tried the Cranberry Mead as well as their cider, which was crispy and dry that would appeal to any lager or Pilsner fan. The outdoor area was expansive and, frankly, beautiful. The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and genuinely excited to share their knowledge. It was fun to get their perspective on what I should try. One thing worth mentioning...that I have seen in comments: The folks behind the bar don't wear masks. The order process is 6 foot distances, so no big deal for me, but some may have a problem with this. Although I feel we are being extremely careful with covid guidelines, for some reason, I felt perfectly safe here. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the quality of the beer, the beauty of the grounds, and the charming staff. This place will be a regular haunt for us.

Great outdoor space! Live music, more than 80 picnic tables spread across their vast lawn, and an awesome playground for the kids! Dog friendly too! The beer was good, Helles was our favorite. Be prepared to wait in line for a beer on a Saturday afternoon, though. We loved this place and will definitely be back!

Absolutely love this place! We are in Cedar Park so we don't get to visit as often as we like but wow I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. Amazing beer (and mead/cider for my gluten free hubby). Super family friendly. There's a big playground and teeter totter for the kids. Nice folks behind the bar. Amazing live music and food trucks most weekends. Came here for my bday because I knew the whole family would have fun - and we definitely did. Bought some beer, food, and apparel. So happy to support this awesome business. Highly highly recommend - you will love this cool little brewery too!

We love this place! The beer is awesome and the outdoor seating area is beautiful. They have food trucks and we got wings and pork sandwich. It was all delicious!! I would highly recommend.

Great beer and great atmosphere. They do tons of events throughout the seasons and have live music every week. Huge kid playground. Food options are a little slim.

BOTH EMPLOYEES AND CUSTOMERS NOT WEARING MASKS. Beer is fine. Atmosphere is nice. Unfortunately they are not following safety guidelines at all. It was crowded and almost entirely maskless. We left as soon as possible.

They deserve the five stars. Such a cool venue and microbrewery serving cider, Vinicius wine blends, and signature German-style lager. Family friendly, the location includes a playground, picnic tables, and great shade. With food trucks on site 12 Fox is a great place to spend an afternoon.
