Yelp
I tried a frozen painkiller for my pre-dinner beverage. It lived up to its name. Yummy. Get the focaccia and meatballs for your starter. They are really tasty. This is not NY style pizza. The crust is thin (which I prefer) and perfectly charred. The Margherita pizza was my personal favorite. The hot boy summer pizza is a fun one when you want a little change-up. Added bonus is that they have a gluten free pizza crust available so our gluten-free person was able to enjoy their pizza also. Our server, Jacob, was absolutely fantastic. He gave us great guidance on the menu and made the whole evening very enjoyable. We sat outside near the play area so our little ones were able to play in a safe, enclosed area. We'll be back!

Yelp
The atmosphere and food were great. The service was AMAZING. I don't know if I ever hugged my server at the end of my meal before. It was that great. Our Airbnb was just up the block so Loudmouth was a no brainer. The large outdoor patio has a little enclosed play yard filled with giant legos, the most adorable little wooden pigs to sit on and a wall that was mostly a chalkboard. We had 2 three year olds with us which made Loudmouth a NO BRAINER. Our table was next to the play area which was absolutely perfect for watching the little ones. The outside area is fenced but not completely closed in due to openings at the entrances from the street and driveway. We were seated, served pitchers of ice water and given a few minutes to look over the drink list. They offer craft beers, some wine by the glass or bottle and several cocktails including two frozen drinks. None of the lists were exceptionally long but the choices were solid. I had a frozen concoction called the Painkiller (Limit 2). It was very good but a two drink limit, I think, was more hype than anything. We ordered meatballs and focaccia for an app. A bowl of three medium size house made meatballs resting in a bowl full of sauce and then covered in melted gooey cheese. It came with two slices of airy toasted focaccia. It was delicious. We ordered two for our group of 6 adults and it was just enough. We all ordered pizza for dinner. My husband and I shared the Lone Star - BBQ base, chicken, a few cilantro leaves and a TON of thinly sliced onion that were near raw. While I love cooked onions, raw almost kill me. The onions were so underdone that my husband took them off the pizza (and our daughter ate them - she hasn't entered into her Pepcid years yet). My daughter and SIL shared the Hot Boy Summer which they really enjoyed. (I didn't know I birthed an 8 and 1/2 pound stomach of steel). My son and DIL shared the Emerald City. They really enjoyed it. I tasted it and it was much more flavorful than the Lone Star - I would definitely order the Emerald City next time. We didn't have room for dessert but I guess my tiara gave away the fact that it was my birthday. They sent me back with a huge fresh baked chocolate chip cookie which we shared later. It was excellent. And back around to the service, I really didn't hug a server for such great service (though it WAS great service). No, she and I talked while the kids played after the meal. We truly were kindred spirits, we shared a common trajectory through life and we were best girlfriends, if only for that 20 minutes while the kids played.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday night with a large group. The wait was about 45 minutes. We sat outside and the weather and vibes were perfect! We ordered the "hot boy summer" and "emerald city" pizzas and both were amazing. The Caesar salad was one of the best I've ever had in town. We also got the buffalo wings which were DELICIOUS but spicier than we expected. Our server was amazing! He gave great recommendations and was very attentive. I ubered here but my friends had a hard time finding parking.

Yelp
Finally made it to Loudmouth with a friend to give them a spin. We grabbed a couple of beers while we waited for our Hot Boy Summer pizza. I was eyeing the Italian sandwich and mentioned it to my friend... next thing you know, we've ordered that as well. The sandwich came first and it was great. We said we'd finish the sandwich since it was so good and then take 1 slice of pizza each and take the rest to go. Well, the pizza came as we were finishing the sandwich and I put down my last bite to try the pizza fresh. It was amazing and I couldn't score between another slice and the last bite of sandwich. I must've blacked out, cuz when I came to I saw an empty pizza tray and that last bite of sandwich gone. I'd say I feel guilty but my friend did the exact same thing. No doggie bag! The price is a bit higher than what I wanted to pay but I definitely enjoyed it so whatever. I'll be back here to splurge.

Yelp
This place is gorgeous and very homey inside. The outside has a ton of tables and is perfect for a pretty day. They have a small parking lot behind the building and lots of street parking around. For apps, we really enjoyed the sweet pepper arancini and cauliflower caponata. The Caesar salad was so freaking good and I would come back just for it! It had kale in it and I don't usually enjoy kale, but with the miso and the crispy onions it was a great salad. We ordered the hot boy summer pizza. The toppings all went together so well and the crust was amazing! The under crust did start to get a little soggy from I think the hot honey but it was so good we didn't care. Definitely want to come back and try all their other pizzas because that crust was so great. They make their ranch in house and I liked it. It was pretty dill heavy. The service was great, friendly and helpful. Can't wait to come back and to try out the happy hour!

Yelp
Loved this new spot on e 11th! It took over the former Rosewood spot so it's a beautiful old house and lawn. There is a parking lot but it is smaller so I can see it getting full on a busy night. The patio space is really lovely, can't wait to sit out there next time I visit. We tried the meatballs and focaccia (bread was sooo good), Cesar salad (nothing too special for me), and the hot boy pizza (delish pizza - would get again). Monroe was an awesome server and made some great food recs. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
What a treat! We made it to happy hour and got 2 appetizers and some drinks. The meatballs and carrots on the apps menu were both delicious and worth getting again! For pizza, we got Hot Boy Summer and Lone Star, both of which were tasty. The pizza is on the thin side with a fluffy crust and are medium sized cut into 6 slices. It was the perfect amount of food for 4 people. The vibe is chill and cool as well! This is a must try place especially if you are already in the area.

Yelp
Came here on a whim since the exterior was so cute we had to check it out! The owners are the same as paperboy and we were excited to try an Italian place. We got seated pretty quickly and ordered the Caesar salad, meatball app, and pepperoni pizza. Everything tasted super fresh but I felt like the pizza was a little too salty for my taste. The salad was probably my favorite. It has that real Caesar dressing taste and I could have probably eaten a lot more of it. Come here for the vibes though since the interior is just super eclectic and fun!

Yelp
Come for the pizza, stay for the wings. Overall the pepperoni pizza was pretty good. Nice crust, toppings, but I wish the center had a little more bite to it. Literally fell flat. The vibe had an old school feel since it's located in a historic site and had plenty of unique indoor/outdoor seating. What really took the cake for me was the buffalo wings. That sauce was unreal. If anyone knows their secret, pls fill me in.

Yelp
Ended up here for brunch opening weekend when the wait at a nearby restaurant was over an hour. Glad we went to Loudmouth though because it was so good! First off, I've always loved the space. It's historic. They've preserved the history. It's classy and cozy. Didn't feel like pizza so we ordered the chopped salad and the Italian Sammie instead and both were plenty to split between the two of us. I also loved the Agua Fresca. The Italian was way up there on my list of best I've eaten. The bread was soft but held its own. So so good. And those house made kettle chips were perfection! Highly recommend all that we ordered. I'll be back for a Hot Boy Summer pizza and a cocktail!

Yelp
I've been meaning to check out Loudmouth for a few months now and finally found the chance to! My partner and I met another couple there for happy hour and dinner. Happy hour ends at 6pm and we arrived at 5:45, giving us just enough time to order a round of drinks and appetizers. We got the wings and meatballs with focaccia, as well as 2 beers and 2 glasses of white wine for the four of us. Then, we ordered the pesto pizza (with chicken added) and the Joe's pizza. Both were so delicious! The aesthetic inside the place was really nice, too. Loved the mix of tables and booths, as well as the funky wall decor. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
So. Freaking. Good. I came here on Valentine's Day, and the food is actually so phenomenal. We didn't have a reservation, and the hostesses are pretty rude and uninviting. However, that doesn't take away from the actual experience because everyone else was very nice and kind. I would skip their espresso martinis because they were really strong and not that well balanced. However, again, their food is so good that it doesn't even matter. We loved the hot honey pizza--that's a must order. The cheese to dough ratio is perfect, and the hot honey and peppers on top are such a nice touch. We also adored their Italian sandwich because it's probably the best in the city. They make their potato chips in-house, and all of their bread is also made in-house. Loudmouth has become one of our favorite restaurants in the city. So delicious and memorable! The ambience is so nice as well.

Yelp
Went here on New Year's Eve and enjoyed the free pour of Prosecco while we were waiting on the porch for our table. Great views of downtown Austin with a nice patio which even has a play area for kids. After a short wait we were ushered inside to the beautiful old home. The waiter was very nice and helpful. We order the chopped salad which was good but was lacking on ingredients besides the lettuce. I would definitely try the Cesar salad next time. The Joe's Pie was delicious. Great crust.

Yelp
This is some form of perfected Neapolitan style - like the stuff in Rome. But thoughtfully feels local in its presentation and style. The simple beauty from food to the old beautiful house to the amazing red topped tables. Austin is fortunate to have a place that prioritizes beauty and flavor equally along side exceptional service. Truly a stand out. We had white bean, broccolini, 3 pies, pasta, and some killer cocktails. All high rec.

Yelp
I wanted to love this spot, but in the end, it just wasn't worth the money for me. We started with wings and were disappointed by how incredibly tiny they were. Chicken wings have definitely been suffering from "shrink"flation around town and this was a tough case. Sauce was spicy but very mediocre. Next came the pizzas. They were fine, tasted good. I wouldn't go out of my way for them though. My husband had an iced tea... pretty sure it was $4.50 and you don't get refills. On iced tea, which is pretty much water. The porch is big and nice, the atmosphere was cute but it just wasn't for us.

Yelp
I am excited to see what's to come over the next few weeks as Loudmouth shakes off the new business bumps. The majority of the food was very tasty. I had roasted carrots (the tzatziki they come with is very dilly and lovely), meatballs in sauce with bread, caesar salad, and a hot boy summer pizza. All of the sides were A+, healthy portions, reasonably priced with the exception of the garlic parm rubbed wings which our server took off the bill as they were quite disappointing. I think the pizza is a bit expensive for the size yet tasty. I loved the Spaghett (high life + aperol), I heard the cocktails were good (prices decent) but the pours of wine were really small for the cost. I went this Friday around 5:30 pm or so, a week after they opened, knowing the weather was perfect and there might be a wait. The line to put our name down moved fairly quickly despite it having about 15 people in it. From there, they shuffled us inside to a bar line that is long and blocks the entrance. I am hopeful an outdoor bar, at least with beer, wine and NA service pops up to help alleviate, and allow us to take advantage of the lovely outdoor oasis. All of the staff were working hard, knowledgeable and seemed excited about the restaurant which made for a comfortable and welcoming feel once seated. Overall Loudmouth good seems a little all over the place with pricing but it has only been open for a week so I'm sure it'll all shake out, it's owned by highly successful Paperboy, and they did a really beautiful job with the space itself, inside and outside. Bonus, there's heaters outside which is great for night fall this time of year!

Yelp
Absolutely amazing pizza spot!!! The ambiance is impeccable with the decor in the space. Perfect relaxed environment with both indoor and patio seating. We were able to come in at happy hour without a recreation to enjoy some deals and delicious pizza. The waitress was extremely nice and helpful. The food is amazing, came out quickly, and was reasonably priced. I will be back again soon!

Yelp
OMPizza!!! The Paperboy crew have OUTDONE themselves. Grand opening was today 11-6-24. I am so lucky to live across the street! The patio is large, comfy, and dog-friendly. The interior is simply beautiful. Gorgeous architecture and architectural elements with well-appointed art and seating. Historic saloon vibes all day long! So excellent. The meatballs and focaccia appetizer is literally to die for! Tender and juicy balls and homemade bread that makes your head spin. The Margherita pizza is powerfully packed with fresh ingredients and flavor. The Spaghett cocktail (Miller Highlife, lime and Aperol) is yummingly refreshing. Yep, made a new word there. They've got a frozen Painkiller cocktail that'll keep you feeling good for hours after you've slurped one or five down. Seriously good. I'm a sucker for a frozen cocktail and expect them year-round in ATX! Daily happy hour from 5pm-6pm. Oh, Loudmouth, dare I say I adore you? That I love you? Because yes, yes I do.

Yelp
Decided to check this place out on Friday right at opening (5pm) and there were already about 6 people ahead of us! They have a great huge property with a really nice outdoor space and plenty of heaters, and the inside is cute too. They have happy hour from 5-6pm which offers just a few items so nothing to go out of your way to get here for, however the food was great: 1. Meatballs - Altho salty these were really well-made with delicious marinara and cheese coating on top, served with 2 slices of deliciously toasted bread. (Not pictured bc it was devoured too quickly) 2. Parm-rub wings - These were good but nothing I'd go crazy about and order again. 3. BBQ Chicken Pizza - we usually always go with a sausage pizza, but wanted to switch it up and we're really glad we did. About 5-6 slices per pizza and flavors on this were great! I'd prefer the red onions being cooked but all in all, delicious! Our server was great too and as were the drinks!

Yelp
The place is cute and lots of outdoor space, that is lit up and nice to look at. The inside is an old house and charming. Our server was delightful, knowledgeable and helpful. The food is farm to table and it was delicious! The pizza was wildfires perfectly!! The homemade ranch was smooth and rich!! I highly recommend this place. I have a picture of the salad which was chopped perfectly!

Yelp
Loudmouth is such a gem! Great location and has a fantastic outdoor patio that's perfect for a nice day. The drinks are delicious and the food is a solid 10/10. Highly recommend the Italian Sammie - it was so flavorful and we couldn't get enough of it!

Yelp
Great pizza, great vibes, large outdoor patio space for groups. The pizza was thin and crispy--reminded me of Pieous. Had the margarita pizza with pepperoni, which was a bit overpriced for the small size. The house made limoncello was overly sweetened. Cute space. They did a great job renovating a historic house and converting it to a pizza parlor with old fashioned Tiffany lamps!

Yelp
What a charming house and restaurant! Service was crazy fast, Monroe (our waiter) was very attentive and very friendly, the house its self is what stole the show. Truly feels like your at your uncles house and they are making pizzas for dinner! Good pizza and even better vibes. Will be back for a casual date night!

Yelp
Loved this spot! The inside was absolutely stunning and the outdoor seating was such a beautiful place to spend our evening. Our server Alex was wonderful and the food was great! The pizza crust had the perfect ratio of crisp and floppiness, great amount for two to share with an appetizer. We got the Buffalo wings and while they were on the smaller side, their flavor and texture made up for that immediately. The perfect crunch and the sauce was to die for. Loved the house dill ranch as well. Ended the meal with warm salted chocolate chip cookies that really sealed the deal for us. Will definitely return to try the meatballs!
google avatar

Yelp
Our server was very attentive and was helpful with recommendations. The bean dip was surprisingly good. Meatballs were good but nothing spectacular. Pizza is definitely the highlight here. We had hot boy's summer with hot honey and that blew my mind. Must try. We also had Joe's pie which is great too with the savory meaty mushrooms and sausages. The pleasant surprise was the vanilla gelato with olive oil and a dash of sea salt. Perfect happy ending!

Jessica R.

Yelp
Mid. Very tiny pizza for the price and not flavorful. Interior is definitely nice. Customer service was great. However pizza was underwhelming.

Yelp
Loved this place. Great pizza, cool location. They put a lot of effort into the ambiance.

Yelp
Very cute restaurant on the east side - killer pizza and wings, and the Italian sandwich gives Home Slice a run for its money. Our server, Mo, was a delight, very sweet and attentive without hanging around too long.

Taylor B.

Yelp
This place was amazing and so cutesy! We had my friend's engagement party there and they were so accommodating and sweet! The food is also so so good !! Definitely recommend, will be returning !

Chris

Yelp
The outdoor space is nice, parking lot is big for the corner spot (approx. 10-15 parking spots). The pizza is mid, Neapolitan is never going to be a game changer. I did not find the $26 price for the pizza anywhere near worth the quality of the pizza. The Italian sandwich was good, not as good as Home Slice, ask for the sauce on the side because they load it on, and the potato chips have a very odd flavor. Wings average. Meatball app. Was good. Service: atrocious. The place was dead and it took over 10 minutes to get seated with three hostesses working. I specifically asked the server to course out the meal with the apps to be served first. Everything pretty much came out at once, ruined the experience. They charge a 3% service charge for "tip back of house." You can request to have it removed but who actually makes that request? This is such a tacky way to force customers to pay BOH wages, this will negatively impact the FOH tips and also prevent people from returning. I would highly recommend cease this practice. Overall, this is a good place to host a group gathering while the weather is not unbearably hot. Food is below average comparatively to other places like Home Slice, Buffalina. They have to get their service together or this place will not make it, there are way too many solid pizza places in Austin now.

Emily D.

Yelp
This place is really great! In a historical Austin home-- the food here is delicious, the ambience is very special and the service is warm. The outdoor space is really nice and lovely on a sunny day. I would absolutely keep coming back here! The eggplant appetizer, meatball appetizer, any pizza, and tiramisu were all delicious .. not to mention their wine selection was on point.

Patrick K.

Yelp
Cool concept, but it could've been executed better. The dough for one of our pizzas was practically raw and was too thick in general. The sauce wasn't that good either. For the price point, you're better off going to a place like La Volta or Sammataro. As someone who loves Paperboy, I had higher expectations.

Shaun M.

Yelp
This place is incredible! It's a pizza joint, but everything on the menu is top tier. Incredible thought put into every detail from the food to the atmosphere to the service. Amazing outdoor space and cozy indoor seating. The pizza is fantastic, but my favorite thing on the menu is actually the fried green tomato sandwich.

James S.

Yelp
Diligent and attentive staff. Wonderful menu, but I've always been a sucker for amazing Italian food. Damn, my mouth is still watering over the meatball appetizer.

Brad M.

Yelp
Stopped in during a business trip to Austin. Sat at the bar and had the meatballs, The crispy potatoes and a pizza with a glass of wine. Good atmosphere. Good food. See you soon.

Cole N.

Yelp
We came back to loudmouth a second time since they were out of pizza the first time we went and it was totally worth it. The ceasar salad was amazing. We also got the hot boy summer pizza. The pizza was really good but had a little too much honey. Overall, great food, great drinks, and great service!

James M.

Yelp
everything you could hope for in a local pizza spot. A great place to hangout with the family, drink some cocktails, and enjoy good company. The service was exceptional, can't recommend it highly enough
