I have ended my vacation because I am moving in here (just kidding). Staying in the area, looked up coffee shops, and this place was higher rated than anywhere in walking distance. I saw what it was, full of my childhood everything, and we made it our top priority of where to go next. I walked in and nearly cried. Everywhere you look (Full House reference for you), it's the 90s and some 80s. The decor is so cool, some of it really subtly nerdy, and I felt at home immediately.
We got a large oat milk latte to split which wasn't the best I've ever had but it was good and honestly, the entire experience was magical. There are VHS tapes in multiple areas including an old tv cart like you had in school, the players are Mario, there's 90s style squiggles on the walls, collages of musicians, fuzzy benches, VIDEO GAME CONSOLES, hanging lights made from teacups and saucers, funky furniture, I could keep going.
It's only 3 months old and I know this place is going to do very well. Avery was our barista and super lovely, we played some video games and hung out in the little funky lounge area. I didn't wanna leave, and wish I had a place like this closer to home. Literally anywhere you look there's something cool and memory inducing. I cannot wait to come back and am looking forward to seeing what events they put on (they just had their first one).
