This is basically my favorite restaurant. Only gave 4 stars though for a couple reasons. Their prices have gone up but portions are smaller and they no longer give bread and antipasta with your meal (at least we didn't get any this time so assume that's no longer a thing). Food was delicious but can sometimes depend on the chef. I always order "The Believer" (Chicken Parm with a white sauce). It's my favorite meal hands down. It's served with a side of spaghetti noodles and more recently they added veggies which is good but wish they didn't use red bell peppers as it throws off the flavor of this dish so I put those to the side. Eggs Benedict is usually great here. The ceasar salad came with lots of parmesan, but was very over-dressed this time. This is a great spot near the airport open 24/7 with a great fine dining yet casual atmosphere. Sitting at the counter is fun if you want to watch the chefs cook. Overall, we love 13 coins and SeaTac seems to be the most consistant with how food turns out vs other locations.

With a long layover at SeaTac, I crossed the street to 13 Coins—supposedly a Seattle institution. The place sits unassuming in a corporate building, but inside you’ll find classic old-school booths that gave me hope for something good. I hit happy hour on a slow night, yet somehow service still dragged. I went for what seemed like safe bets: pepper beef and pesto clams. Being in Seattle, I figured the seafood would be a slam dunk. Wrong. The clams were aggressively overcooked—dry, rubbery, and clearly not fresh. The pesto itself had decent flavor and the crostini were fine, but when your star ingredient is that bad, nothing else matters. The pepper beef’s creamy sauce tasted good (hard to mess up cream and pepper), but the beef quality was dismal and cut so thick it turned into a chewy workout for my jaw. Here’s what really stings: I went back to the airport afterward and found genuinely better food at a terminal restaurant. When SeaTac is outperforming your “classic” Seattle spot, something’s gone seriously wrong. 13 Coins might be trading on nostalgia and reputation, but the kitchen isn’t backing it up. Save your time and money. There are too many great places in Seattle to waste a meal here.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

13 Coins was absolutely amazing! Food, service, and the atmosphere were on point! We sat at the bar on the cold side, talking to the prep guy as he worked his magic making salads and cold desserts. He was truly a magician at his craft. We will return!

13 Coins in SeaTac has a chill, laid-back ambiance that makes it a solid spot whether you’re dining late or just want a relaxed meal near the airport. The service is generally good, and the food is decent and consistent enough to keep us coming back. Must-try dishes include the pesto clams, chicken and waffles, Steak David with a ribeye, and their burger, which is always a safe choice. Expect to spend around $20 per person, which feels fair for the portions and overall experience. My only downside is the inconsistency with late-night pickup orders. I’ve called around 10:30 PM to place a pickup order, and depending on who answers the phone, they’ll either allow it or flat-out say no. That lack of consistency can be frustrating and is something that could definitely be improved. Overall, 13 Coins is a solid option with good food, a relaxed vibe, and mostly good service—just wish the pickup policy was more consistent

Loved this place for our group of 7 dining out on an evening in October. The food was so pretty on my plate and delicious. I had the Creamy Chicken Parmesan. The place where we were seated wasn’t too loud and the parking was plentiful and free with a validated ticket.

I feel like I was let in on a travelers little secret. 13 coins was a quick walk from Sea-tac airport. With a safe room for luggage and cold beer, good eats, and stiff drinks. Having the little walk, and a cocktail after a long flight was a great way to be welcomed into Seattle. We took a Lyft from there and quickly got on our way. My friend and I weren't hungry at this time, but we did find another 13 coins for breakfast a couple of days later and had a wonderful meal. I got the eggs Benedict Florentine with spinach and felt I made the healthy right choice. Anyhow I imagine they may have 13 of these restaurants around the Seattle area but maybe they aren't that obvious. I just know there are more than one and all have a similar vibe to them. It's like old school dining meets modern seclusion and privacy in how they are decorated and laid out. I can certainly jive with that.

Wow! Our family has been coming to 13 Coins for 30+ years, so we knew when we came out for Valentine's Day dinner that it would be great! It was spectacular! They seated us on the line so we could enjoy watching all the amazing chefs make magic, then Sous Chef Mike and Appetizer Chef D hooked us up! The steak picanya and the calamari steaks were incredible! We also had our usual bucket of clams (which was perfect) and a bowl of the 13 Coins french onion soup (delicious as always)!!! The bartender was awesome as always as well and Johnathan our server was great too! Thank you 13 Coins Seatac for a beautiful Valentine's date! It was perfection!

I’ve been coming to 13 Coins for years specifically this location. It’s always been a special place for me. I celebrated many bachelorette breakfast here. We like to start the day with a nice breakfast and my husband and I used to come on our first dates, it’s also been a regular spot to meet our parents. Unfortunately, for the first time, I was truly disappointed with my meal. One of my longtime favorites, the Jumbo Shrimp Scampi, completely missed the mark. The sauce lacked flavor, and the shrimp were medium at best. The presentation didn’t help either. I also tried the Chicken Parmigiana, which was burnt, dry, and served with vegetables that were hard and cold. The quality of ingredients has definitely declined, and for the prices, it’s just not worth it anymore. I don’t mind paying for good food, but the experience has become really underwhelming. I hoped it was a one-off, but I came for breakfast a few days ago, the portions were small and the food was just mediocre. The service is still great, and the ambiance hasn’t changed but the food used to be the reason to come here. Sadly, it no longer feels worth it.

13 Coins was a wonderful restaurant in walking distance when we were staying near SeaTac airport. We had dinner and breakfast there in a couple of visits. The food was tasty and the ambiance very congenial.

This is my go to spot when I land at SEA. I have never had a bad meal here, and you wont either. Today was the ham and eggs with hash browns. I also recommend sitting at the bar near the chefs. It's awesome to watch and listen to them work.

A stunning place and easily convenient right after picking someone up at SeaTac airport. Stopped by 13 coins and got myself their burger! The bun shape was new to me and I was so excited because it looked good! Until my meat was slightly burnt, bread had no flavor, not a single layer of sauce. No ketchup or mayonnaise. It was so dry, couldn't even finish the food. I would recommend getting another item, the service was great and the waiter was extremely nice! Service was quick and easily seated for walk in.

We always forget how cozy and enjoyable it is to dine at 13 Coins. It's a local favorite and always a good option. We came in after picking up relatives at the airport. We loved the more intimate setting with the private booths. Our server was friendly and attentive. Hubs and I shared a Joe's Special, after Bloody Mary's which were knock-your-socks-off hearty, and it was a decent portion for the two of us. Our family dined on Bananas Foster and Chicken & Waffles, which were both big hits. You feel almost like you're stepping back in time here, and I love the whole vibe.

The food is always spot on, the service professional, the cooks are like well oiled machinery ... always hustling snd the chef de partie is on top of everything. Have dined at 13 Coins for close to 50 years!!! Yikes, time flies. My fav location was off Fairview - long gone - days if journalists, mayors, SuperSonics.... Everyone went there! Now hit up this location when visiting my hometown. Will always love their breakfast, be it Joes Speciak, Best eggs Benny around, Mexi scramble .... All good. Snd the French toast my husband had today was killer! Momentary slip in service in changing of the guard, but all in all fantastic. Love sitting at the counter.

No. All sorts of food from pasta primavera to chicken Marsala being prepared litteally without any amazing aromas. It smelled like oil Lots of cutting back on the quality. Watched a cook pull out a large pan of cooked spaghetti. Dubious methods. Cooks looked miserable, not too quality chefs. No flair. Top prices, iffy food.

We adore sitting at the counter watching the chefs create delicious meals! It's our favorite stop when traveling through SeaTac! Tonight was a starter of French onion soup and then New York steak and eggs for my husband and chicken piccata with the risotto and grilled veggies for me! Fantastic- food and service!!

My rule of thumb is to judge a restaurant on what they are trying to be. The fact that everything on the menu is available all day long is a very good indicator of what 13 Coins is trying to accomplish, good at many things but perhaps not great at everything. When I come here I want one of two dishes, eggs benny for breakfast/brunch, and for dinner veal marsala. For accompaniment a stiff Bloody Mary or a martini. Last night was veal marsala, and my date had bacon and eggs . Not very many places can you get those two dishes at 6pm on a Wednesday. That's what we wanted out of the restaurant, and that's exactly what they delivered, and that's how you get a 5 star review.

I used to go here when I traveled and stayed by the airport. I remember their happy hour was great! This time I was in town and walked over for breakfast. We ordered the following BACON & EGGS* Two eggs (scrambled) , bacon with hash browns, toast ( I chose RYE!! ) VEGETARIAN OMELETTE Tomato, fresh spinach, cauliflower, zucchini, broccoli and mushrooms. Served with hash browns and toast Both meals were good and filling. I liked that the bacon was crispy and hash browns crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The omelette was huge. Look forward to my next visit in town.

I was recently on travel staying at a nearby hotel. The hotel shuttle driver suggested this place saying, "A lot of pilots and aircrew go here." Well, I figured if the go here then it must be good. As I entered I saw the sign outside "24 hour dining". It looked very nice inside like a high end restaurant. I sat at the bar. I like the bar since service is usually better. They were very busy, service was friendly if not speedy. A very nice selection with a full bar and wine list. Nice start. Then the menu... it read like a high end Italian menu and when you flip it over like a morning diner. I couldn't make up my mind whether I wanted a late night breakfast or just dinner. I opted for a Vodka Martini and a Steak Caesar. It was amazing. Very pleasantly surprised by this spot. I'd do it again and this time .... Breakfast !!

My dad loves this place, and we often come whenever I fly into SeaTac. 13 Coins used to be open 24/7 before the pandemic but is not open until 11 PM Monday - Thursday, and 2 AM Friday - Sunday. They offer a pretty expansive menu, and you can order breakfast all day. There is a bar area for patrons 21+, and the rest of the place is family-friendly. The kitchen is open, with spaces at the bar to sit and watch the action happen. We recently came here after a morning flight and were seated in a high-backed booth. The server was very attentive and never let our coffee mugs empty. I love breakfast and ordered the Denver Omelet with Cheddar Cheese, and my partner had Eggs Benedict with gluten-free bread. My omelet was fluffy and cheesy and full of toppings. It was so delicious! My partner loved that they had gluten-free bread and loved the Eggs Benedict. I recommend coming to 13 Coins because we know we will be back!

Oh where to start.....my hopes weren't high when I was told they could make everything on the menu from 6am-11pm...... this is a full breakfast/lunch/ dinner menu We were sat after a 30 min wait in a booth for 6, with bizarrely high backs (maybe helps with the noise? Our waiter was incredibly slow... many they were busy... but we got our apps before our cocktails. The waiter sold us on this white chicken parm (the believer) couldn't get past the first bite, no idea why this is such an epic dish. Calamari was chewy.... $20 for a plate of pasta and sauce (no meatball) for the buttermilk chicken salad and my only complaint for this dish was slightly over dressed, but probably the best dish of the Night. The streak sandwich was inedible... and the waiter never even asked why it wasn't eaten. The Brussel sprouts starter were good. After all this.... If you need a restaurant by the airport that will cost a lot and be mediocre..... they have found a spot!

This is a very interesting restaurant. We had lunch here during an overnight stay at the next-door hotel before catching an early flight at SEATAC. If you sit at the counter, it's basically dinner and a show--if you find it entertaining watching people cook, as I do. It's almost like watching choreography as you see a half dozen chefs handling the lunch rush. The seating is interesting, too. Think of those padded swivel armchairs at casino slot machines. There's also a row of booths, each separated by padded walls, but trust me, the counter is much more interesting. The food is essentially everything you've ever gotten in a diner, plus more. We started with the fried artichoke hearts, which were generous and excellent. The Mexican Scramble was also a large serving. It was a bit dense and needed some Tabasco to liven it up despite the inclusion of jalapenos, but it was pretty good. The coating on the blackened chicken was also very good. Service was friendly, and overall the experience was quite entertaining.

Let's begin with the atmosphere.....very welcoming on a cold & rainy evening. Only wish we'd been there late enough to enjoy the live music. Our server, Faith, could not have been any better. Perfect service offered, she was exactly the server I wish I had every time I dined out, it certainly makes dinner so much more enjoyable with such professionalism. They serve (what seemed like) homemade bread and an antipasto before the meal....excellent. My husband ordered the club, substituting sourdough for wheat bread. It was served perfectly toasted with an abundance of turkey and extra crispy bacon, just as he requested. I had the French onion soup, and it was hands down the BEST I've eaten. I will say, I like soup especially hot and while I didn't request it that way..... I'm sure for most it would be hot enough. It was such a wonderful meal, I wish we had this restaurant down south.

Old restaurant close to SeaTac Airport. Most of the customers seem to be regulars or people that have a stopover at SeaTac airport. I had a roast beef sandwich that was called a prime rib dip. Nothing to write to home about. Unfortunately the sandwich took forever to come out from the kitchen. The bread was soggy too. The food tastes on par with the quality of Applebee's. Besides the mediocre food, 13 coins is a restaurant that's open late and open for partial hours on Christmas day.

We came here in the late afternoon for an early dinner before our flight for two main reasons: it was close to the airport and it offered French onion soup. The soup was pretty good as it was pretty cheesy and full of sliced onions. The breakfasts were also pretty good. I enjoyed my country fried steak and eggs, and the hash browns were nice and crispy. If you want breakfast food, there are cheaper options down the street, but since this also is a steakhouse that serves breakfast all day, the high booths and lighting give it an extra special touch. Our server was also very friendly and attentive which was great because high booths make it hard to see the servers. I'd definitely come back!

I booked a private dining room for 25 adult guests and three children under the age of five, for the 1/21/2024 event, buffet style. The Chicken Satay Kebobs were dry. The NY Steaks were hard to chew, they were obviously very well done. The Crab Cake and Mushrooms were the best as well as the Tiramisu cakes. The rest were subpar. Before we left, we asked the server if we could take the left over food home since there were more than a dozen NY Steaks left, more than half container of Rice and Noodle left over, and about half a dozen Tiramisu were uneaten. But the server told me that we could not take them home because they were more than two hours left in a room temperature. That is odd! When we ate at this restaurant in general in the past, whatever we did not finish there we were allowed to take them back home (in "doggy bags") no matter if we spent more than three hours there. Was hoping at least we should have been able to take the Tiramisu home if they were concerned about the rest of the left over food. We were disappointed to say the least. The total bill was $2,682.73. Considering the quality of the food we got, also the mere fact that we could not take the left over food home which was ridiculous, I believe we would be justified to have a much lower bill than $2,803.99 after what I explained above. Needless to say, no more visit to this restaurant!

After checking out of my hotel, I came here for breakfast as my flight wasn't until later in the day. Service was very nice and friendly from the moment I entered the restaurant. I ordered their New York Steak & Eggs with white toast and coffee. The steak was perfectly cooked at medium rare and the eggs sunny side up. If I ever have a long layover at SeaTac, I just might have to come over here instead of eating in the airport.

Stopped by after arriving from Calie found this place on yelp. The place is 24hrs, really nice like an upscale diner.Our server's name was Jonathon and he was great, informative on drinks and on certain dishes. I like how the booths were private.2 of us ordered the Wagyu burger, and the other two ordered the chicken alfredo, the complimentary bread and butter was yummy too!! Thxs Jonathon!!!! If ever in the area I will definitely stop by again!!

This place was a cool place to hang out with friends. I felt like the interior is really interesting with old school giant booths and dark lighting, kind of reminding me of something from the 70s or 80s. The menu is pretty large with lots of choices and my vegan family members were able to find something to eat. This is definitely an old school menu with pastas, steaks, and entree salads. I really enjoyed my cobb salad and French onion soup though our waiter put in the soup order later so things came in kind of out of sync. The side brussels sprouts were good.

Quick facts: Open 24/7, dim lighting, large menu, $$ (at least $17 per item), decent service. The first thing my friends and I noticed was the decor. Booths have VERY HIGH backings and the edges protrude slightly, giving you a lot of privacy. The bar seemed to be a more open experience where you can watch the chefs cook the food. Overall the food was tasty. My sandwich was similar to a phili cheesesteak minus the cheesy flavor and a prime rib dip like sauce. I'd prefer it on a larger or crispier bread. Everything would fall out when I dipped it in the sauce. Went in around 12p on a Thursday and it wasn't busy at all.

Highly underwhelming food but could have been the time and our choices. Cocktails were great on the upside. It was raining so the restaurant was packed with hotel customers not wanting to go out in the rain and folks from the nearby soccer game. Would def try again but go earlier and order something different.

Free parking in the lot outside The building. Isn't a stand alone restaurant but located in a business building. Conveniently next to the airport and open late at night. Sunday through Thursday until 11 PM and Wednesday through Saturday until 2 AM. Vibe is: some privacy in public. The height of the booths are very high, even the bars chairs have very high backs. Lobster mac & cheese was good. the virgin Bloody Mary's are good because they have some horseradish in the mix that gives it a smooth kick. Not too hot just a smooth kick. Hashbrowns came out crispy as requested. Service was attentive.

My B.A.T. Is amazing, bacon, avocado, turkey on whole wheat. The fries are hot and crispy, the beer is ice cold. Ambiance is warm and inviting with jazz playing in the background. My waiter is friendly and attentive.

It's the perfect place for an undercover mission, lively yet quiet and private for those secret superhero strategies with Nick Fury and SHIELD. Food: The food at 13 Coins is like an upgraded diner with the flair of New American style (like Captain America I thawed for today's world), featuring ingredients as high-quality as Wakandan Vibranium. I dined here three times over my four-day trip, and every meal was a hit. The breakfast dishes are as energizing as Thor's lightning, while the dinner options with fish and chicken are cooked to perfection, like Hawkeye's precision. Each bite was a delightful experience, ensuring I was fueled and ready for whatever the day threw at me. Even Kang the Conqueror would be hard pressed to deal with me now! Parking and Access: Parking is plentiful and easy, much like finding a parking spot for the Quinjet. Although I walked from across the street at the airport or Ubered there, knowing there's ample parking is a great comfort for future missions. Service: The service at 13 Coins is friendly and efficient, much like Captain America's leadership. The servers introduced themselves each time, ensuring a personal touch that felt as welcoming as an Avengers reunion. They kept our coffee and drinks refilled with the speed of Quicksilver, ensuring we were always refreshed and ready for more. Conclusion: 13 Coins near SEATAC Airport is a stellar base for any superhero on the move. With its unique ambiance, exceptional food, and friendly service, it's a place that would make even the Avengers feel at home. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a marvelous dining experience. Five stars for 13 Coins! Make sure to stop by on your next mission.

Nice ambiance and laid back vibe, but diner length menu with matching portions at a good price. Definitely not your average spot so close to the airport. The inside of the place was very nice. Large booths, dimly lit, and privacy from the other around. Then they hand a large menu with a huge amount of variety and you think diner. The portions and presentation marry the two of these things together nicely. A friend had recommended to me and I recommend to you if you are looking to get a great meal and are willing to venture out from your hotel restaurant. Very nice spot with great service!

Long read...my apologies in advance! I've been here before but it's been a few years and I'm not sure I made a review that time. Service now AND then has been awesome. The host was very engaging. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu when asked questions. I wasn't in a hurry and was looking to just enjoy my time here because I remember the last time I was here, I loved the vibe. The whole feel of this place is "old money" and people who come here are regulars. I really like the booths and how they are very private, kind of dark & sultry and give a high profile feel to the patron. Would love to come here on a date and sit on the same side as my man and enjoy a nice glass of red wine (yes I watch a lot of movies). But it also is just that type of vibe. The cooks across the counter at the bar are amazing at what they do. Watching them in their element being so focused and mastering their crafts is enjoying to watch and it doesn't hurt to watch and get inspiration in case you are unsure of what to order. Moving right along... The food & drinks I enjoyed: POG Margaville- From the first sip, it was DIVINE!! It felt like I was on vacation. 13 coins French toast w/ a side of scrambled cheesy eggs- So I decided to have breakfast for dinner and it did not disappoint!! I'm sort of a bacon connoisseur and let me tell you! This bacon was EVERYTHING!!! The French toast was sooo good, crispy around the edges and soft inside, full of flavor! The cheesy eggs are cheesy eggs. It's kind of hard to mess that one up. Safe to say, I loved my experience here!

We came here straight from our airport and it was a late one. The place to go for late night eats. We had our luggage and the hostess was kind enough to guide us to their locked closet to store our bags! They had festive decor and lights for the holidays and they had some live jazz music! Breakfast is pretty good - I got the chicken fried steak while my bf got the Joe's Special. He said he got it years ago and it was better than now, it was probably the shaved cheese. The steak was breaded and crispy which was good but what got me was the gravy - it was pretty tasty! Our waitress was super attentive, apologetic, and sweet! Apologies from her since she seemed swamped a little bit when we arrived but seemed calm as the night progressed.

Late night hunger is something I will never understand. But on a Saturday if you're anywhere near SeaTac I'd highly recommend 13 coins. Just look at the material! A swanky but diner vibe. Low lighting and comfy cushiony seats. You really can't beat. I came in with my associate 20 minutes before the 2 am closing we were sat at the bar which I was surprised there were full length backed seats to greet us. Johnathan was our server and he did wonderfully. I ordered the Pea Tea Cocktail (uber-delicious) and a 13 coin French toast. The toast was light and brioche I believe so good I only left with a satisfied grin. My friend ordered the spaghetti and meat-sauce... my fork travelled to her plate many times I'm proud to report. It was rich, flavorful and well-seasoned! But I'm getting ahead of myself because the artichoke hearts were fantastic as well as the calamari appetizer. Delicate batter not overly crunchy,but light and airy(the cooks know their way around a kitchen!) I only got a couple of pictures because... enjoyment. But I'd love a late night hunger quench any Saturday of the month!

This place was recommended by another Yelp Eliter who is from the Seattle area. This is a well-known restaurant with old school, high back leather diner chairs. You can watch the food being cooked in front of you. Service was a little shoddy, but someone took over for our original server. I wold order anything that starts with, "13 coins." This are the dishes that they are known for. We liked it so much, we tried another 13 Coins restaurant in a different city later in our trip.

Since I had eaten earlier in the afternoon I wasn't super hungry and thought I would just get a bowl of French Onion Soup. It was bold and highlighted so I thought it would be something special. I ordered the "bowl" since it was the only thing I was getting and when it arrived...... tiny! I asked the waiter dropping it off if this was the bowl and he said yes and then when our waiter came back by I asked him again to make sure and he also said yes. I said, "if this is the bowl, is the cup the size of a sauce cup (like what they put a side of ketchup in)" and he said, "pretty much." It was tasty but extremely small for something as cheap to make as onion soup." The staff was very nice and attentive and the restaurant was giving off cigar room vibes (but without the smoke.)

Never a disappointment having a meal at 13 Coins! I just love this place because it has the vibe and classiness of a time long gone by. Our meal was very good and our server DiDi was a delight, attentive and very friendly - thank you!! The menu is full of great selections that are sure to satisfy any palate and I think the complementary relish plate at the start of the meal is just one of those touches from the past that you just don't find anymore. The French Onion Soup is pure heaven in a crock so if you are a French Onion Soup lover (like me) do not hesitate to order it. Ron had the filet mignon dinner and he told me it was one of the best steaks he has ever had, but with the must of Béarnaise sauce he added. I, on the other hand, enjoyed the chicken Piccata which was absolutely delish. For desert carrot cake and an order of mango sorbet. Sorbet for me is the perfect way to end a meal, light and tasty, and really tasted homemade (not sure if it is) but if isn't, you sure fooled me. If you are in the Sea-Tac airport area and find it irresistible to have a dinning experience from the past, you must give 13 Coins a try!

A few of the reviews were quite positive but sadly that was not our experience. Arrived on Friday afternoon. A few diners in the lounge area and a couple at the bar. The main dining room with was empty and there are several large private booths as well as "half booths" we were seated in a "half booths" (only two in our party) but the place was empty. Reluctantly, I would have accepted that but we were seated in one directly facing the kitchen (?) area making it impossible to talk or enjoy a meal. We relocated to the lounge. Seated ourselves, as directed, was acknowledged a couple of times but no one showed up to take our order. We will be back in the area in a few months and will remember to not visit. I am guessing at one time this was a nice place.

First off they sat us on a table that smelt like body odor, or maybe the table was wiped with a dirty wet cloth. Soda was not checked on or refilled. It's just a whole glass of ice with 2 sips of soda since the glasses were tall and skinny. Food was not good. We ordered 7 items. Also they placed our order wrong. I wanted to exchange it for something else but that wasn't offered instead we were charged more to order something else. Oh and we ordered a side of fries which never came out but I'm sure we paid for it too because the server didn't care. Lots of items on the menu was "out of stock" Place is very old and the blinds wouldn't open because it was broken. So we sat in the darkness. Service was beyond terrible. Placing random orders that we didn't order. And we weren't checked on at all. Basically blurting out made up orders thinking we were going to get our dinner entree but it was breakfast instead. I would not come back.

Great service! Food is always wonderful! Love going with a group as there is always something for everyone.

Thirteen Coins plus 4 % We had an enjoyable dinner sitting at the counter, skilled chefs in full view as they worked. The thick retro furniture helps keep the noise level down and gives the place a pleasantly clandestine ambiance. Our server was attentive and genuinely friendly. Calamari steaks were good. None of the food was truly outstanding, especially for the price, though the whole experience made it worthwhile. With one significant exception. Upon presentation of the bill, I was surprised to see a 4% service charge added. This was not, as it clearly stated, a mandatory gratuity that would be shared with staff. I had seen no indication on the menu that each dish was actually offered at a price 4% higher than printed. Nor have I found any indication that this practice is illegal in Washington State, though it contradicts notions of basic contract principles, where an actual meeting of the minds is necessary to make a deal. That is, imagine putting $50 of gas into your car, only to have a burly attendant sidle up and announce you owe him another two bucks before you can leave. Of course, there was no "burly attendant," but that character existed in other forms. There was the desire not to make a scene. There was the wish not to focus on something negative and ruin an otherwise pleasant evening. There was the desire not to want to appear cheap to a date. There was the vague suggestion I had somehow unwittingly agreed to the 4% upcharge and thus would be in the wrong by refusing to pay it. No doubt, some people don't notice the additional charge, and some may mistakenly think it is a built-in (albeit absurdly low) tip, if they don't read all the verbiage on the receipt. As much as I appreciate that running a successful restaurant is not easy, this practice feels like a "gotcha"! moment. Why not slip on an extra 10%, or 60% on the bill? Is it because at 4%, most people quietly acquiesce, if they notice at all? I don't care how the restaurant spins it, I don't do business this way.

Close to the airport, nice upscale ambiance. A bit higher priced if you're expecting a mid-level 24 hour diner. Great service by Tyler, very attentive but not pushy. Food was delicious!

Always a GREAT PLACE!! Meals, service, & atmosphere are the best in the Seattle area.

Went to the SeaTac location. The biscuits and gravy are ok. The Dungeness Crab Benedict was really good. The bananas foster French Toast was delicious

Truely the best meal we've ever had. Stopped by before our flight. Right across from seatac Airport. Heard so many good things. The hype was right. I had the veal picatta my husband had fish tacos . We had a couple cocktails and they went beyond our expectations. I can't even put into words how flavorful everything was. Definately a must try

Atmosphere is nostalgic of an old style restaurant. Food was decent. Party of 4 took 30 mins for food after placing order.

Service could improve. This place recommended by a family member, bad recommendation!!! 3 tables came after us and they all got their food 1st. When food came it was cold. Then Mgr. came over and said "what's up?l Are you serious!!!! Manners are not good here. No explanation of why our food came late. Better to go to Dennys down the street, service is friendly and get your order on time. I don't recommend this place at all. The good thing is they have live jazz music.

Dropped a friend off at the airport across the street and heard the rumbles from my stomach. Stopped by to grab some breakfast was wasn't all that impressed. The food was really good. I ordered the Farmers Omelette and not sure why I said no cheese but that's on me. Portion was big and definitely filled me up. Service wasn't all that great. We sat there for a good 5+ minutes before we were acknowledged from the server. And when we were acknowledged, I felt like the sever was annoyed we were there. When she asked if we wanted anything else besides coffee, I felt it came across like she was annoyed. However, the next few times she did come back, she was friendlier and not "so annoyed". We didn't receive the greatest service and my fiancé had to go up to the bar to get more coffee and water.

Love the food and the ambience but the cracked vinyl on the seats of the booth was very disappointing no duct tape but still not somewhere you would want to bring someone too.

This chain's refusal to take reservations for any party under the size of 6 is ridiculous. Had to wait an hour to get in on Christmas because we were only a party of two and were not able to make a reservation for our preferred time. Spencer's Steak and Chops is a block away and they take reservations. Bye 13 Coins, eliminating the 13 Club was your first mistake, now I am gone for good.

We were in Seattle on vacation and decided to stop and eat at this gem. FOOD: Portion size was large. More than enough! SERVICE: Several waitresses helped out. They all worked together as a team, which was unusual but pleasant. We didn't wait for refills, sauces, etc. Everyone was helpful. AMBIENCE: This is where it gets interesting. I'd say late 70s, early 80s, smoking jacket vibe. The bar was set up for the long-haulers w/lounge chairs & arm rests, not stools. It could've used a tiny Gordon Ramsay restaurant makeover (in the kindest way). Oddly enough, as we were leaving, my husband pointed out that there were 13 coins laminated into the table top. I think that's a cool little wink. It's worth a visit! Zero regrets and we definitely plan to visit again.

I like 13 coins and when I dine at 13 coins it's usually for brunch. I love the banana foster French toast! My other favorite dish is the lobster Mac and cheese. I am a huge macaroni and cheese fan. The service is hit or miss at this location. I have been to the other locations and service is very good and the atmosphere is more inviting and up scale. I do appreciate the booths and even the bar top chairs at 13 coins. As far as comfort goes 13 coins has it nailed! Good food good drinks all in all a cool place for brunch. I have not had the chance to dine at 13 coins in the evening. Definitely a go to for brunch dates with the girls!

The food was as good as anywhere else BUT our service was IMMACULATE! WOW. I myself used to be a server but our server, Thomas, was incredibly friendly and made our night before we boarded a long flight to the East Coast WITH a baby. Thank you, Thomas!!!
