"Zhang specializes in Sichuan food, offering dishes like wheat noodles slicked with chile oil for $8, accompanied with crunchy cucumbers as a cooling antidote to spicy soups." - Luke Fortney
We got the Liang pi and braised beef noodle soup , my friends beef soup was ok but the portion was a bit small. The broth was hearty and flavorful with the right amount of spice but a bit salty. The noodles were too soggy as wellThe Liang pi was a joke , portion is about half or less what you get at Xian and the taste was so mediocre I immediately regretted ordering it. A cross between sweet and soupy I didn't taste any tingling or mala that liangpi is known for. Save yourself money and go to xian

Yelp
Qin Jin Taste (秦晋味道) is the latest addition to the New York Food Court, 133-35 Roosevelt Ave, Flushing, ensconced in stall #26. I went shortly after they opened so they didn't have many of the dishes I was eager to try ("Next week!"), but they were able to provide their signature item, the Crispy Burger; I opted for the cumin lamb, one of six choices.
[1] It struck me a little as fusion cuisine: the deftly seasoned lamb and the perfectly crispy roll clearly declared Shaanxi but the lettuce, tomato and type of mayonnaise delivered a distinctly American accent. Truth be told, it could have use more sauce of any stripe since it was rather dry (I requested an additional dollop); still tasted good though.
[2] Crispy and flaky. A fine example of this style of roll; tasted freshly made.
[3] Cute and authentic. My research indicates that there's at least one more of these restaurants in China, at Nanshi Jie Station in Suzhou.
[4] I'll definitely return to explore the extensive menu, but..."next week!"

Yelp
Surprisingly good.
It isn't as overly spiced or greasy as Xi'ans and they didn't try to skimp on the meat. I do prefer the flakey bun over the regular but I definitely think it could improved upon.
The noodles are pretty good too. I would have to get more things on the menu to really bump it to a solid 4.

Yelp
I got the combo A and C. Everything taste good. The pork burger or crispy bun is better than the beef one. Beef noodle soup taste like any other store which taste good too.
