13 Sizzling Skewers in NYC

"From pork belly to jumbo shrimp, the skewers here are dusted with red chile pepper and cumin then barbecued  at the table on a portable grill. This 2020 newcomer is part of the high-end One Fulton Square complex in downtown Flushing, and offers convivial vibes for late nights with large groups, particularly those who want to sing their hearts out in between bites of grilled Angus beef in their own private karaoke room." - Caroline Shin

To start off, this place had a great vibe to it. If you were to go out with friends to this place, it’s great for a drinking atmosphere. The projectors project onto the walls some sort of images I don’t quite remember. It’s nicely lit inside with colorful blueish lights and other colors. The seating arrangement’s alright. A bit too close to other tables. The food was alright. I personally enjoyed the garlic that came with the main dish. I think that the main dish tasted very interesting? Like it’s an acquired taste. The dish was also very oily though.. (Highly recommended the pork wrapped enoki mushroom skewers! They were lovely.) The service was fine. The food took a long time to come out and when we ordered take-out afterwards to bring home and it took around 30 minutes to be done. Considering how it wasn’t very busy, it took a little too long in my opinion.

I love everything about this place and it's the one place in flushing that has never disappointed me. The food has been amazing every time we go and it's perfectly flavored and spiced to our liking. They have amazing customer service and everyone that work there always go above and beyond. They don't automatically include tip like most places in flushing. The owners are conducting business according to our American statutes and values. They don't demand a tip like most places in flushing. They've given us our autonomy like a true American business. We usually get the egg fried rice, chicken skewers, salt shrimp skewer, and the egg plant. Their prince mushroom, mussles and spicy edamame is really good too. It's very reasonably priced. In short, amazing food, great customer service, pretty atmosphere and reasonable prices. What more do you want?

This is a very cute place and great bbq. We always come here after govball, lol. They accidentally skipped our order the most recent time we went, but we’re very accommodating to us afterward. Thank you for being a solid place for late night eats !

Avoid this place! I experienced severe stomach pain, lasting for several days, and intense nausea after eating their food. While their dishes are tasty, it's best to choose another option to avoid these symptoms. I won't be dining here again.

Decent skewers, big portions. Went with a group they certainly enjoyed it

Google
The environment is good, the food is very bad, the taste is very bad, it's either burnt or too salty, the waiters often can't find anyone, and they are disappointed when they come here for the first time. The rice is excellent, the meal cost is too high to match the food made, and the food is not worth the price.

1392 Seafood BBQ offers an exceptional dining experience with its unique blend of traditional Korean flavors and fresh seafood. The restaurant’s ambiance is inviting, with a modern yet cozy interior that sets the perfect mood for a relaxed meal. The highlight of 1392 is undoubtedly its seafood BBQ. Diners can enjoy grilling a variety of fresh seafood right at their table, including succulent shrimp, tender squid, and flavorful fish, all perfectly marinated to enhance their natural flavors. The quality of the seafood is top-notch, reflecting the restaurant’s commitment to freshness and sustainability. In addition to the seafood, the menu features a range of Korean BBQ classics and side dishes. Yelp
One of my favorite places to visit whenever I go to Flushing, NY. Chinese bbq skewers and seafood here are so so good, with lots of Chongqing spice. Definitely a must to visit if you're ever in Flushing.

Yelp
This is not your typical sit-down joint where you can grill your own food. It's really more of a bar/karaoke where they serve bbq that chef grills in the kitchen and brings it out to your table, hot. I came here for a work function - personally, I am not a huge karaoke fan but it was very cool that they had screens that wrapped around all the walls along with a small stage upfront where people can perform. I can see with a mixture of good bbq meats/seafood and drinks are flowing, you can get addicted to hogging that mic! Food came out fast non-stop, barely any time to eat between courses. Food was hot, garlicky, spicy, salty and had a strong cumin/mala flavor. I would not recommend to people who have a picky palette or unable to try strong tasting foods. I, on the other hand, love mala flavor, cumin and cilantro so, this was right up my alley. All the seafood was fresh, the lamb skewers were cut up small but perfect bar/beer foods. If it wasn't for the location, I think I would come here again since there is absolutely no street parking and parking in a lot can get expensive. I forgot to ask if they provide parking vouchers for customers. All in all, a very unique, fun spot perfect for adult nights out. Please do not bring your children here.

Yelp
Food (5/5): We got a variety of skewers including the pork belly, chicken, sausage, and lamb as well as the foil hot pot with beef. They were all absolutely delicious. My favorites were sausage skewers and the foil hot pot. The flavors were amazing and the meat super tender. Service (5/5): Helpful and friendly service. They seated us fast and the food came out fast. They refilled our water a few times and cleaned our table frequently. Solid service. Ambiance (5/5): Wow, a beautiful venue full of projector screens of nature, fireworks and music concerts. It's a very chill environment with great lighting and decorations. There's also a lot of space and plenty of seating.

Yelp
We came here late one night because this place is open late and it has some good tasting food. Everyone in the group love Chinese barbecue skewers in this place had it all. This is a very typical Chinese public local population, hangout spot that there are a lot of younger crowd people here enjoying their time in company. We were essentially doing the same. The service was very good and we were seated right away and as soon as we order the skewers, they came out very quickly. This is a good late night by spot.

Yelp
We love going here. We liked all the skewers- chicken, pork, fishball, fish cake and tofu. We like their drinks, too. Ambiance is great. There's karaoke several nights. And fast service. They're also open til 1 am!

Yelp
A wonderful find. Great for big gatherings. There's KTV that people can sing. The food came out quickly and everything was tasty. Look forward to trying new items next time I visit!

Yelp
This is a hidden gem in the flushing area. I absolutely loved the spicy tuna roll. This was the first time I actually had tuna fish like meat inside of a roll. We were seated immediately and given plenty of time to order and also suggestions from the waiter. I really like the variety of noodle dishes that they had. The level of spiciness was really good. The inside makes it look like a casual spot, but the food is very enjoyable!

Yelp
We walked place this place and decided to give it a try due to the good reviews. The restaurant was busy, but we were able to get seating quickly on a Saturday night. First thing that I noticed was "interesting" decor with a digital aquarium around the restaurant. Not sure if was the best decor, but I guess it was interesting and kids would like it. Menu is huge, consisting of a large variety of skewers (including stuff that is rare elsewhere) and other dishes. I was looking forward to trying a frog skewer but unfortunately they no long have that. Food was very good on average... I loved most of the dishes, but a few were just okay. Standouts for me was the lamb chops... it was so flavorful with the numbing spice. Service was good. Will add this place to the Flushing rotation.

Yelp
My favorite skewer spot in flushing. I think their skewers taste the best. There's also a variety of hot and cold dishes as well as beverages on the menu to choose from. Servers are always attentive. Great late night hang out spot as they open pass midnight! They play music and have live screen projected on the walls which is pretty cool to look at.

Yelp
Could be a zero star if I could give it. This is pure bone, half of the dish is just bone. No excuses and waitresses are speechless about it, only told us everyone eat like this. As a restaurant owner and normal foodie, this is not acceptable at all. You can server in this quality. Last time here. Also management on Sunday dinner time, no manager is available. Service is bad, food is half bad, half maybe good if you are luck. Not sure how this type of restaurant can survive.

Yelp
Just about everything at 1392 were novel experiences for me. For example, the raw beef skewers but they were not my thing. I had expect it to be like steak tartare but no, not even close. We also ordered 100 other skewers and they're all spicy and packed with cumin flavor, just like your regular midnight skewer spots. The shrimp one was slightly over cooked but that happens sometimes. It was my first time trying Kronenbourg 1664 blanc -- I finished my bottle but I didn't like it as much as the others did (the strong wheat taste was off-putting) so we drank Corona for the rest of dinner. Our table went through 5 cases of beer not counting the Kronenbourg. It was also my first time trying paper-wrapped fish. My friends ordered one spicy enough that it would burn going in and burn coming out (we're a masochistic bunch). Apparently we also ordered so many add-on toppings (like veggies, lotus root, tofu skin, etc) for it that you can barely see the fish itself. The add-on's absorbed all the spicy goodness from the vessel of soup that the fish lies in but be careful because the add-on's, add up. $$ This place also offers ktv and occasional live music. There wasn't live music that night but customers get to select songs to play on the big screen for everyone to hear. I picked out a couple of rap songs. Service was also great. We had 3 attentive servers helping us the entire time: a guy who's pretty fluent at English (maybe the manager?), another guy who speaks only Chinese, and a girl who mainly just brings us our food.

Yelp
My friends and I were in Flushing and decided to try this place out. We walked in on a Friday night around 9-10p and we were seated right away. The menu was a little confusing to order from since it was all of our first time there. I asked server to recommended any dishes but she just told me to check off the boxes on the menu haha, wasn't really that helpful. We got the "Paper Wrapped w/ Fish" with black bass and added Chinese cabbage, rice noodle, and enoki mushroom cooked in garlic and there an option to make it not too salty which we did. This was really good! We also got the frog soup (which was a little spicy but still very delicious) along with a bunch of random skewers for the table to share. Not to mention beer was only $4!! We definitely ordered way too much food but it was overall a very delicious meal. Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
3 stars for a few reasons. - the Yelp free appetizer wasn't granted, why have a promotion on Yelp if you aren't going to grant it? - the credit card machine wasn't working, so cash only - my friend and I basically had to check our wallets to make sure we had enough cash before we sat down because that can be a change of plans - my friend spoke mandarin and I didn't, and the waiter kept talking to my friend instead of to me so I had to keep asking her to translate back to me. I think it would've been nice if he used English so I could understand too. Instead of making my friend the interpreter. Heads up, if you can't eat spicy, nothing on the first page (foil pot, hot dishes) can be made non spicy. We ended up ordering more skewers to satisfy our cravings. For 2 skinny people, we ordered this for lunch: - Mango Yakult (on the pricier end... but it was good) - ice rice with fruit (my friend's favorite!) - cucumber with special sauce (spicy topping on the side) - pork belly skewers, sausage skewers, beef skewers, rice cake skewers, large lamb skewer - squid dish I feel like we ordered just enough. We ended up finishing everything and we had just the right amount of cash (luckily). The skewers were good! Tasty and juicy. They come in sets of 3 or 1 depending on what you order, and it's fun to share. If you love ordering skewers from the carts like I do, you'll love coming here.

Yelp
was craving some chinese bbq skewers at 12am. This place was opened late so i wanted to try it. They have many options to eat there's bbq and entrees or there's the fish pot thing. But i ordered some chicken wings, beef sticks, enoki mushrooms, Pork bone, Chicken gizzards. Overall the taste wasn't bad. But the bill was 80$ which i think wasn't worth it.

Yelp
So glad this place open late! We flew in past midnight and wanted a place to eat, so we decided to check this plate out. It was around 1am when we stop in and place wasn't too busy ans was seated immediately. Menu consisted of skewers and hotpot dishes. We decided on small bites for the late night. Also if you check in on Yelp your get a free appetizer, which I got the cucumber with special sauce. It was delcious and crunchy. Plus it was a huge plate. We ordered a lamb, chicken feet, pork intestine skewers. Also order squid and eggplant. Everything was delcious. The pork intestine was nice and crispy but a bit fatty. Excellent spice seasoning. Also got the passion fruit green tea drink and that was refreshing. Great atmosphere with Chinese and American music playing. Friendly staff always clearing the table. Highly suggest checking this place out if you're in the area.

Yelp
What a cool huge spot for late night skewers in Queens! You can't miss that giant logo storefront, and the inside gave me modern hip vibes, kind of like Hutaoli in Midtown. I also love the scenic projections as wall decor! Each skewer order came with 3 sticks for around $5-6. With only Mr. Q skewers in Brooklyn Chinatown to compare them to, the sticks here are of course better quality and looked more beautiful presentation wise. But the flavor is more numbing if you get them spicy. Their Small Beef and Chicken are a must-try! They were so juicy and savory. The Mix Seafood ($65.99), as grand as it was, wasn't worth the price. The garlic embellishment is a delicious safe choice if you're not looking for spice, although it seems to mainly be concentrated in the center. And while the glass noodles at the bottom eagerly soaks up the succulence of the various seafood, the sauce was not very memorable, even watered down if I must say. The shrimp, clams, and mussels tasted standard, but the soaked crab legs were on another level to me for how sweet they were! However, there wasn't too much of a variety, the crawfish was just like sucking up juice, and the crab shell, very little substance inside. I would say this feeds 4 people at most. Any more would be definitely be cutting it. Because this place also doubles as a KTV space, there can be some extremely lit patrons, so that was a sight to see, especially in the restrooms. With super friendly service, great ambiance, and quality skewers, this still makes for an ideal lively late night group hangout option in Queens!

Yelp
I mean clearly, this restaurant is known for its speed. Not saying that it's the fastest service out there (e.g., 1432 would be faster) but 1392 is pretty darn fast. Highly recommended.

Yelp
4.5 stars for skewers galore! Couldn't get enough of 1392 that I came twice in one week. If you like smokey cumin-y flavors, this is your spot. Each skewer serving comes with about 3-4 skewers. All of the meats are good, the fishball and/or fish tofu are a must, and their enoki mushroom dishes are great too. The seasoning is flavorful and addictive, but can get repetitive if you order too many skewers, so definitely save room for the foil pot, which is a must have for me! You can choose your topping that comes in a smallish foil pan filled with hotpot-like soup, glass noodles, and other little veggies and what not. Perfect for sharing amongst two people. I've tried both their beef and clam foil pots and I have to say that the beef is the way to go. Service is attentive and friendly. There was one gentleman, I think a manager, who was especially amazing and went out of his way to make sure we got everything that we ordered. They have live singing some nights, and it can get pretty loud. My only complaint is that the restroom was not very well kept both times that I went. Hopefully they can put more effort into maintenance! Will definitely be returning!

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday during noon time. It was fairly empty due to the weather. The space was pretty large with cute seats and decor. There is a drum set, I'm assuming they will play live music at certain times. The waiters were very nice and accommodating. I wasn't expecting much but the food surprised me. If you can't handle spice, I'd recommend telling them just a little bit or none. The flavor of the food was pretty good. *Angus beef skewer 10/10 *Small beef skewer 7/10 *Chicken wing skewer 8/10 *Chicken gizzard skewer 8/10 *Mixed seafood noodle soup 8/10 Good flavor, but soggy noodles *Sirloin beef noodle soup 8/10 Also good flavor but soggy noodles *Fries 10/10 *Edamame 10/10

Yelp
I was deeply satisfied by my experience here. I wanted to eat skewers and drink beer as a leisure meal and I couldn't have picked a better spot to do it. I love the fun projections they have on the walls and the music. It's a really fun and relaxing environment. Also, I love that they have the sort of menu where you can just check things off with a pen, making the ordering process super easy. The service was incredible and I normally don't really comment on things like that. The beers were very affordable and every skewer we got was delicious. The cucumber salad, which I can not help myself from ordering anytime it's on a menu, is well balanced and difficult to stop eating. As for the skewers, I believe the products to be high quality and the seasoning (I asked for 5/10 spiciness) to be flavorful and well balanced with the perfect level of heat. Highlights were the ham sausage, the enoki mushroom, and the fish tofu. Most orders come with 3-4 skewers. I definitely will be returning here, I think it would be a fun place to have a birthday gathering perhaps.

Yelp
I was excited to try this place ever since they opened up! I came here this week with my bf before catching a movie at the new Regal in flushing. We got a variety of skewers and dishes to try- chicken, angus beef, lamb, frog, enoki wrapped w pork, squid legs, and string beans. We had the cucumber appetizer and the beef foil pot and the eggplant as well! My favorites were the enoki wrapped in pork, SOO good and will be getting this next time. I really liked the cucumber appetizer and the beef foil pot. I saw a few people getting the huge seafood pots and definitely need to come back and try that next time!
google avatar

Rachel C.

Yelp
I came here twice to try both the seafood and the skewers! This restaurant is definitely on the pricier side. No need to make a reservation, even on the weekends. We ordered the seafood specialties mix with lobster. You can choose your flavor (garlic or spicy) and saltiness level (normal or salty). I would recommend getting the normal salty, since it's already really flavorful. It comes with lobster, shrimp, baby squid, crawfish, mussel, clam, squid ball, fish tofu. Sides included cabbage, corn, tofu skin, and rice noodles. We ordered this dish for 3 people and finished the whole thing! Skewers are seasoned well but expensive!! Compared to skewer carts in flushing, this is better quality and has a lot more options. They have both meat and seafood options ex) pork with enoki, chicken, steak, fish ball, beef tongue, squid, chicken gizzard, etc) If you want to be fancy and eat in, I would recommend eating here however if you're price conscious, the skewer carts will do the job. They have a live Chinese singer on the weekends (not sure about weekdays) and karaoke rooms in the back. I'd recommend to go try this restaurant once as it is a great experience. Customer service is A+ and SUPER attentive!

Yelp
Ordered most regular skewers: 7/10 nothing super special but pretty good. Beef Foil Pot: 7.5/10 pretty worth. Mix Seafood with Lobster: 6/10 not pretty worth but taste was fine. Service was great, lots of staff and pretty friendly: 9/10 Ambiance is very cozy but one the darker side and music volume is just right, any louder and we probably wouldn't hear each other. Chairs are basically armchair sofas (whatever they're called) and pretty comfortable. Overall: 4/5 Come here mainly for the relaxed vibe to drink and chat not so much for the food but food is also decent. Plus they close pretty late so good for a late night snack.

Yelp
This has been on my try-list for some time and finally able to go. I brought my parents there on a Sunday early dinner, and there were many tables available. Seating was very comfortable, and very well decorated. We ordered the seafood platter with lobster, and it was super fresh and delicious. We decided to go with garlic and "normal," flavor but it was a little bland. Next time we are definitely going to get it "salty." If you check in on Yelp, they give you free appetizer!! We got the pig ear and cucumbers, both delicious although a little spicy. Lastly, we ordered the fried mei fun, and it was a little shredded. But flavor was there, and a big portion!! Loved it. Service was great, server checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Can't wait to come again!

Yelp
4.5 stars! I've always walked by this place without noticing, until a friend suggested 1392 for dinner. The moment you walk in, the restaurant screams 'trendy', making it perfect for a night out with friends or a date night. There are tons of parties drinking and eating and there is live music with karaoke lights. I immediately thought, where has this place been all my life! The menu was very extensive so I was glad my friend had a prior experience here, as she was able to narrow down what to order. For a party of two, we ordered a beef foil pot, and the enoki mushroom, fish tofu, angus beef, and pork belly skewer. SO much food but SO good! The foil pot is kinda similar to a hotpot that comes with a really flavorful broth that you drink with it. The skewers were all very well seasoned and go good with a bowl of white rice. We def ordered too much because we could not finish it. My only complaint is while she sounded amazing, the live music and singing makes it VERY difficult to chat throughout the meal. Although just communicating with 1 other person on a small table, we ended up just talking in between her breaks and focused on eating whenever she came back to sing. But even with that strategy, our throats were shot by the end of the meal LOL so I would advise against coming at night if you're looking for a catch up day with a friend. The tables around us were ordering very extravagant looking dishes and I saw older couples here enjoying big seafood platters, making me think this place could be parent friendly. I will definitely be back to explore the other options!

Yelp
1392 was one of the few places that were still open for a late night dinner and I'm so glad we came here! The BBQ skewers and foil pots here are delicious. Some of the skewer prices seem high, but they usually come with 2-3 per order. Seasoning is the same for all the BBQ meats (or the ones I've ordered), so I do recommend getting different meats so you can change it up a bit. The foil pot broth is super flavorful and not too spicy. We came back another time to try the paper wrapped fish and the mixed seafood with lobster special. I'm indifferent towards the fish; it wasn't bad, but it also wasn't memorable. The seafood special was yummy though, and I loved how the mung bean noodles really soaked up the seafood broth. This is a great dish for seafood lovers! Service is great here and the staff is attentive. The music does get a bit loud, but it's okay.

Yelp
One of the better skewer joints in Flushing if you want to sit and chill. Our party went on a Saturday evening and it was pretty empty around 6pm -- no reservations needed, though it got fully packed 30 minutes later. There's this lady who sings from 7:30pm-10:30pm and I really wish they didn't put her on blast. I could barely hear what I was thinking let alone what the person sitting next to me was saying. We were practically screaming to each other. Manager asked for proof of vaccine at the door. Bathrooms were clean!! There was also a handicap bathroom. My favorite items on the menu was the enoki mushrooms, squid and chicken skewers. I highly recommend these 3. The squid was crispy and chewy, the enoki and chicken were sooo juicy. Absolutely loved it. Definitely will come back.

Yelp
Came here a couple times with my boyfriend. It's open late at night which is nice, and has a huge interior so never super crowded. They have a pretty big, diverse menu here especially if you're in the mood for skewers, with some more unique ones like frog and chicken heart. I've come here once to try the paper wrapped special - a full fish with tons of sauce and veggies. It definitely gets expensive as you add more vegetables. It was good but the one thing I really recommend here is the beef and sour cabbage dish! It's a huge portion for the price and the broth is sooo good. Comes with a ton of meat and veggies. Definitely would come back for the soup and to try other dishes! They also have decently priced alcohol.

Yelp
There is a great variety of options for Chinese BBQ in Flushing. 1392 just opened a few months ago with wide-spaced and brilliant decoration. However, the taste and the price didn't perform outstandingly so it won't be one of our top choices when we're craving for skewers. We tried Lamb Skewers, Pork Belly, Chicken heart, Pork institute and Grilled Garlic eggplant ... etc to share with a group of two. We were not impressed with most of them except for the eggplant, which was the best among all of them.

Yelp
Celebrated my birthday here recently and our group had a great experience! We've been here previously, but this time we reserved one of their private rooms. They offer two different size rooms - a smaller room for 6-8 people, and a larger room for 10-12. I made reservations a month in advance and they collect a $50 security deposit. The private rooms have their own karaoke set up which was really entertaining. We ordered a ton of skewers and a large seafood foil, which was DELICIOUS. Food was served quickly and service was very attentive - there was a button in the room to call our server which was extremely helpful. A great experience overall and I would recommend reserving a room for larger groups for the privacy. A yelp check-in will get you a free appetizer!

Yelp
horrible paid 19 buck for this, not even 2 bite and there was nothing else and it wasn't even half way full. Wouldn't recommend ordering from this place unless you want to get scam

Yelp
Great for large groups! We had a large party and had so much fun with the big rooms downstairs. They offer KTV. Food was alright, nothing really stood out to me, but it was a fun experience overall.

Yelp
Ok there's a lot going on at this place. It's big, crowded, loud, dark and spicy. Starting off with the experience - I did make a reservation and unfortunately our group still had to wait about 40 mins for the table to be ready. Really nothing you can do in flushing - probably couldn't find another place in the moment if we wanted to on a Saturday night for 10 people. We got placed smack dab in the middle under the speakers and right in front of the Karaoke stage. We didn't know if it was open mic or what the deal was but one lady, who seemed to be the owner, kept singing. It was impossible to hear. I would've much enjoyed one of their private rooms so I can only listen to my own signing. Food was interesting - spicy appetizers like frog, jelly fish, and a whole fish. It was tasty and unique from other restaurants. We got a bunch of skewers too which were pretty good - beef pieces were tender. They have beer towers but not many beer options (basically 2). Cost was pretty cheap too overall and in the end. Decent for a fun time but try not to get stuck near speakers.

Yelp
This place is definitely well-suited for friends to gather and have fun, eat skewers, spicy boiling fish/meat pots, all while having music performance in background with a stage. The ambience is very night vibes, dark, colored lights Our server was amazing, wish we got to remember his name again but he was honest and helpful in ordering and recommending food (honest in telling us how some dishes are actually bigger than expected and may be ordering too much and such and he was def right!) some items are listed so cheap that you wouldn't believe it's for that quantity or portion. For example, the beef rib appetizer comes with 2 huge beef ribs that are so flavored and tender and can be pulled off the bone easily when hand held and eaten.

Yelp
1392 Seafood BBQ seems like a good place to hang out with friends and family. It is suitable for big gatherings like birthday parties and meetups with friends before heading out to events or nights out. We got some skewers (Angus Beef Skewer, Chinese BBQ Skewers, Pork Belly) and the Deluxe-Mix Seafood with Dungeness. The Pork Bely skewer is one of the best skewers I have had. The Deluxe-Mix Seafood with Dungeness with garlic flavor felt a little bland, but it had quite a variety of seafood. However, it didn't seem worth the price. We thought it'd be enough for 4 people to share, but it might be more for 3 or 2 people if you're starving. We went there for lunch, but the place also has karaoke and a bar that some people appreciate.

Yelp
Woahhh!! Hold up, do you like skewers, yes or no? Well it doesn't matter cause now you will!! I stopped by around 12am and was surprised this spot was still open. I was craving some skewers as a midnight snack and boOYyyYYY these were the best skewers I've ever had?! I used to go to a bbq spot in Brooklyn whenever I had skewer cravings but omg this is my new favorite spot! One order=3 sticks for most of the skewers. I am INNN loveeee with the beef skewers!! They were sooo tender, and juicy! I've never had beef skewers SOO tender before. We loved it so much, we ordered 3 more orders. The spicy beef is a MUST GET!!! It's has a great kick of chili oil and vinegar. I don't know what it is, but you HAVE to try it!! The foil hot pot was pretty small but packed with beef, glass noodles, and mix of mushrooms. It's a good filler food but I'd pass and just get more skewers LOl! They also have ktv rooms so you can sing and eat at the same time! Might try that out next time hehe

Yelp
Absolutely awesome & delicious! We were staying at the Hyatt Place right around the corner and looking for food joints in the neighborhood and the Yelp community came through on this one. From the skewers to the noodle soup, to the lobster boil. Everything was delicious and the service was impeccable! We were warmly welcomed by Peter and continued to be checked upon to ensure everything suited our taste. They really went above and beyond in ensuring a great visit and for that. We would highly recommend to anybody looking for a great meal and a must for our friends & family! Thank you 1392!

Yelp
The seafood is not fresh with dead and stinky crabs. After eating at 1392, we had diarrhea after we went home. Will never eat at 1392 seafood ever again

Yelp
Nice new addition to Flushing. Relaxed atmosphere with beautiful music, tasty skewers, and beautiful place settings. Definitely a must try if you're in the neighborhood. Skewers - I tried the chicken meat, chicken wing, fish tofu, fish ball, garlic, and chives. The chicken meat was tender and cooked to perfection. The only comment I'd make is that the standard comes with only a little spice kick. If you prefer the spicer version of this dish, they are more than willing to give you some seasoning to add heat to your liking. The chicken wing was tender and pulled right off the bone. It was my favorite dish of the night. Savory flavor with a mild spice kick. I would definitely come back for this one in the future. Fish ball - This dish was nice and chewy. The flavor was a little bit muted, but they haven't been around for long, so over time this dish may be further refined. Chive - The chive flavor was strong, and when combined with the spice brought to the table, packs a really nice heat that I would return for. Garlic - Well cooked and melted in your mouth when you bit into it. The atmosphere was really nice. The tables had a beach theme with shells and sand cured into the table design. The restaurant also had huge TVs with videos playing and nice melodious music. Staff here were very attentive to the customer's needs and preferences. Definitely a must visit while in town.

Yelp
Very clean and organized environment and they offer great variety of seafoods in very decent price range. We went as a group of 6, including tips was only $57 per person, including 4 boxes to take home. Love the skewers, and the mixed seafood platter with lobsters, the vegetables were also very fresh! Will definitely go again!

Yelp
Tasty skewers! The music is a bit loud, but service was quick and the food was delicious. My favorite ones were probably the beef tongue and intestine, both having very dynamic textures and flavored with their amazing seasoning. Will definitely be returning here with friends!

Yelp
My partner and I ordered an assortment of skewers and a lamb foil pot. The seasoning on the skewers were so yummy! Each order comes in 1-3 sticks - its listed on the menu). Not spicy for my taste but very flavorful! My top 3 skewers were the pork intestine (a bit smelly, but what do you expect it's intestine BUT IT WAS COOKED PERFECTLY), chicken wings, and then the lamb. The lamb foil pot came w/ glass noodles and a handful of veggies and fish ball/quail eggs. Very flavorful as well! Highly recommend all of these. The staff was very attentive. Ambiance was nice, felt like I was in a dimly lit Chinese wedding haha. They had a live singer (sung only in mando) - might be a bit loud at times but honestly, I enjoyed it. It was a good different.

Yelp
I stopped by for a late night dinner and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We ordered a bunch of skewers (enoki mushroom, lamb, beef, beef tendon, rice cake, pork belly, squid, squid tentacle, chicken gizzards, and chicken feet), frog foil pot, and 1392 special seafood platter. The skewers that stood out the most were squid tentacle, rice cake, and beef tendon. The special seafood platter was huge and had lot's of hidden goodies inside. The broth was fantastic! It's quite loud inside with music and karaoke but it's a great place to catch up with friends. Tables are very spaced out and staff all wear masks. Our server was great in recommending dishes and portions. I'll definitely be dropping by for more late night meals!

Yelp
Excellent service, mediocre food. This was my first time going to 1392; my own guess is that the name 1392 comes from the last four digits of their phone number (or could it be coincidence?) Regardless, our party was asked to measure our forehead temperature once we came to the restaurant. Throughout the night, the service we received was superb, the waiter patiently explained each dish to us, allowing amble time for us foodies to take tons of pictures and advised us which dishes we should eat first. We ordered a ton of food, the two that stood out the most were their chicken skewer meat and paper wrap fish. The chicken skewer meat was juicy and tender, it has topped all other chicken skewer meats I've had in flushing and is absolutely a must order if you come here. The paper wrap fish is one of their signature dishes, the satisfaction as I watched the server unravel the paper; the fish and sauce slides on to the huge metal pan. Despite mixed in spicy sauce, I was able to taste the freshness of the fish; there was no fish smell. Additionally, the sauce was cooked perfectly, whilst being spicy sauce it wasn't too spicy and had adequate tofu and other condiments (scallion etc) to compliment the fish. Pro tip: they also have two KTV rooms which sell out pretty fast so if you like to have a decent meal and sing, I strongly suggest calling ahead to make reservations! However, they do require deposit for the KTV rooms.

Yelp
The Chinese bbq skewers are not bad. The grill fish is somehow not my type. The atmosphere with the live music was little loud but it's still ok. I prefer the skewers more. So if u wanna try skewers, here is an option.

Yelp
One of my go-to places for bbq. Food is above average and service is often pretty good. I like the songs that they play - mostly from 10 years ago but I like them!!

Yelp
Tried to use the free appetizer when you sign in. They would not accept it. Why would a business not honor this when it was offered? Take it down then. That alone turned me off. Food was good though.
