Yelp
The food was pretty good! We loved the Caesar salad. My husband liked his burger, but felt it was slightly overdone. I liked my fish tacos, but I took a chance on the fact that they were battered in tempura and they ended up a bit too crunchy for me, but those are personal preferences. The service was incredibly attentive and accommodating. I asked if there was lemonade to drink since I didn't see on the menu, so they made me lemonade from scratch! Really above and beyond! I was happy to have another drink that was more easily available, but they said it was no problem. We went for happy hour and the deals are just okay. Certain deals are really good, others aren't worth rushing over for happy hour, in terms of pricing. I'd definitely go back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for good food, good drinks, good service and a super cute vibe!

Yelp
This a vibes forward place. I would only revisit by going to the bar for a drink. The food was lackluster. Our chargrilled caesar didn't have any grilling to it and was more limp than actual charred to any flavor additions. The burger that was described as iconic fell flat on flavor dynamism. Go to Hoexters nearby, their bother actually slays. The marry me chicken wouldn't have me put a ring on it. It was more "date me chicken" - it was solid but not going to make me come back for more. Cocktails were solid. Good people watching. Service, meh. Even after we finished dinner no one offered us dessert. Just a really sub par experience especially for the company it holds on the same Avenue. Much better spots in the hood. This was more one night, one note vs making this a nightly thing...

Yelp
I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at Nightly's. The servers were attentive, however, I must point out the ambience. It's definitely a vibe. It's nicely decorated however, this isn't the place to go if you are looking to catch up with your friend(s) and really have intimate conversations. I could barely hear my friend on a Tuesday night at 8 PM. The food we ordered was better than we were expecting! The "Marry Me Chicken" was tender and delicious. It was pretty "safe" flavor wise, and came with a cream sauce with tarragon and sundried tomatoes. I will say, for $32, I feel they could pair the chicken with some potatoes or sautéed greens. There were just a few lettuce leaves as a garnish so that was disappointing. The burger ($30) was thick and well prepared. Quality ingredients done well. The fries were salty and delicious and there were a good number of them. They charge $5 for bread here. I wish this restaurant had better acoustics. This wouldn't be a place I'd recommend for a date night unless you don't care to hear your date! But I could see myself going there for a meal before going to a concert.

Yelp
Came here last week on a whim. My friend said she was there and there was an extra seat next to her at the bar, asked if I wanted to come and I jumped right up and said sure. This place is very hard to get a table reservation for so I was very excited to try it out. The ambiance in here is on the dimmer side. There is a pretty bar area where we sat. And there is a small back area with two or so tables. It's not a big place at all but they have alot of tables. For dinner we shared the Black Tie Burger which was delicious. And for drinks I had the Bistrotini HERBS DE PROVENCE INFUSED FORDS GIN, FRESH DILL, DRY VERMOUTH, LILLET BLANC, ELDERFLOWER, CELERY BITTERS. My friend had a regular martini and another drink but I do not remember which one. The bartender was very nice and helpful. She was also our waitress. I told her about all my allergies and she made sure to tell the kitchen. I highly recommend this spot even if you can only get a seat at the bar. It's better than nothing.

Yelp
I wish I had taken a picture, but I now know why this place doesn't have any. The food is too good. UVA, UVA next door, and now this place. All something to write about. There are some crossover items on the menu because of the ingredients, but the presentation and preparation are not the same. A new Upper East Side hotspot.

Yelp
Great vibes, great food. If you're too lazy to read the rest of the review, just order the agnolotti. We came here during their soft opening on a Friday. We did a walk-in for 2 and waited around 10 minutes. It was quite crowded so I do recommend a reservation. We ordered the winter salad, short ribs, spinach artichoke dip, and gnocchi. Spinach artichoke dip was salty but DELICIOUS. The winter salad was a bit bitter for me because of the radicchio, but it tasted how it should. Short ribs were tender but the mashed potatoes stole the show on that one. While we ordered the gnocchi, they accidentally gave us the agnolotti. Now, this was a mistake from God !!!!! because the Agnolotti is AMAZING!!!! WOW. MADE MY NIGHT AND NOW I WANT TO GO BACK. They let us keep the agnolotti and sent us the gnocchi as well. While the gnocchi was decent, I think the agnolotti was just on a different level. I had to pretend not to inhale it so as to be subtle and polite about the mistake but inside I was so grateful this pasta appeared in my life. We also ordered the martini and the tainted love cocktail. The martini tasted like a straight pickleback shot which may or may not be a good thing depending on how much you like pickle brine. The tainted love was cute but nothing too special. Regardless, drinks are solid here and there's a good range of cocktails. All in all, I'm excited about this restaurant opening in the neighborhood. Would definitely return!

Yelp
I love this place! Incredible cocktails and bartender- really wonderful service! I've been here several times for martinis, and very consistent.

Yelp
Short rib and agnolotti were excellent. Butternut squash soup was also a highlight. Tuna and salmon tartare were fine but slightly below average of what we've had in the area. The service was really excellent and the staff was constantly swooping by to clear dishes as soon as we finished anything. That being said, the low point was the drinks. I ordered a whiskey sour and a sample of the butter infused bourbon. Both were peated liquors which is not only extremely uncommon for bourbon but a pretty uncommon choice for a whiskey sour. Peat is very polarizing and I've never had it served to me as a default in a cocktail. I'd suggest switching it upfront and offering a verbal swap of a peated whiskey at the bartenders suggestion or flag it to people before they order.

Yelp
This place has such a fun vibe - packed on a Monday and felt like you were downtown not the UES. The food was good but felt expensive for what you got - small portion of spinach and artichoke dip with only 4 large cracker things and the cod did not come with any sides. The service was good but it felt like they were trying to rush us out - we were done in under an hour! Overall it's a fun spot and would be great for a date.

Yelp
Still have YET to come here for food - so this review is solely based on ambiance & drinks. Been here twice now late night and had such a lovely experience both times. The corner and back booths are such a vibe and the staff is great. Will update this review next time I try the food!

Yelp
Really cool downtown vibe on the UES. Nice addition to the block. Staff is great, food was even better.

Yelp
I wanted to rate this place so much higher because I've heard amazing things. The staff was super accommodating and friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect for cocktails and bites with friends. However, the food was quite amiss. We ordered some happy hour bites. The smashburger was way too well done and almost inedible. We attempted to get the twice baked potato, but they weren't able to put any toppings on it when we asked - we got the loaded fries instead but they only came with a bit of cheese on top, which I felt wasn't worth it. The crack and cheese tasted okay, nothing special. The caesar was probably the best dish if I had to pick one but it was half of a romaine heart with cheese and corn dust on top. Overall, would probably only come for drinks again.

Yelp
Ladies and gentlemen, the real reason some people never leave Manhattan: Nightly's "crack n'cheese" followed by their ricotta whipped donuts topped with strawberry cream and vanilla ice cream.

Yelp
Seriously good. The place was packed and it had been open less than a week. That's what happens when a great team opens a fun place in a good location. The staff were excellent and attentive. I had a risotto that was perfect. There were four of us and I had a little bite of everyone else's... I would have been happy with any of the dishes. We'll be back. Just hoping we can get in. See you there!

Yelp
Great new spot in UES. Cozy ambiance - food and service was great. We got the crack n cheese, crispy skin salmon and burger. Everything was tasty. Definitely will be back soon

Yelp
This place was recommend by a friend The food was amazing and drinks good. The chard Caesar salad as an app and the doughnut for dessert are a must order The downside is the noise. The place is so loud I could barely hear the people I was having dinner with.

Yelp
So excited to visit this new spot! The ambiance was great and our server was very personable. We visited during the soft opening so service overall was a tad slow and they forgot one of the items we ordered, but that's to be expected as they work things out. The food was good but pretty salty. Cocktails were great! We'll be back to visit again in a few months (grab a matchbook on your way out, great touch!)

Yelp
I've been waiting for this place to open up and they finally did.... Gorgeous room with a downtown vibe... Get the octopus, the chicken, and the misfit martini.... All 3 things I ordered were 10/10 and the staff was welcoming so I'll be back!

Yelp
Sooo thrilled (and a little concerned) to have Nightly's open up on my block! The food was literally unreal, the mac and cheese was so creamy and flavorful (Heidi's has competition) smash burger was great as well. Also drinks were unique w the perfect combo of ingredients. I sat at the bar w my bf and the service was great, and vibes of the restaurant were high. You could tell they were happy to be there and be open :,) ..... hire me

Yelp
This was my first time Dining here. Reservations were required and we were seated promptly as promised. We all ordered an appetizer which satisfied all. I ordered Salmon as my main course and my friends ordered the Cod Fish, both were perfectly cooked and were absolutely delicious. Everything about the dining experience was great from the attentive service to the cozy ambience. I am looking forward to my return.

Yelp
I'm surprised by all the rave reviews to be honest. I went and definitely had a subpar experience. The vibe is definitely super cute, I love the aesthetic. The one negative to that is that it is SO loud. It's really hard to hear anyone. It would be great if they had installed some noise dampening measures. The waiter was nice but was definitely struggling. It felt like he didn't know a lot, kept pushing us to buy a bottle of wine, and often ran off without actually helping us (kind of in a distracted way). The food was mostly meh - and it was way too expensive for it to be that way. The dip was pretty good - nothing to write home about but it was solid. The dry aged burger was SO bland. I could see that there were onions on it but couldn't taste any. It was basically just a salt flavor. Fries were good. The really bad menu item we got though was the "agnolotti flower" which was literally just one large agnolotti that included a broken and bland filling and mushrooms that were not cooked well enough so they were chewy to the point of inedible. And the price point for what you get is actually ridiculous. The cocktails were fine but when I asked the waiter if I could order a cocktail not on the menu he said no because they don't have a full bar which seemed weird. I would try it again since it's cute and nearby but I don't think this is a place to go out of your way for. And don't arrive super hungry either.

Yelp
Good place, quality food and it's new which makes for a nice addition to the neighborhood. Will return.

Yelp
Ok. I was fairly sad when quality eats closed in this spot. I was skeptical. But then I walked in. Wow. They did a great job opening up the place and it's a nice ambience with quality food and service and drinks.

Yelp
Nightly's absolutely delivered. The steak was perfect - tender, flavorful, with an amazing sauce. The Marry Me Chicken nailed that comfort-food vibe, and the truffle mac? Just next-level creamy and rich, exactly what mac and cheese should be. The ambiance was spot on - lively but not over the top. And the service was some of the BEST I've had in NYC: attentive, professional, and on it. Lastly, the Craving Chaos cocktail really stood out (seriously good), and you've got a place I'll definitely be coming back to.

Yelp
Super rude hostess and management. Menu and preparation is like every other New American restaurant all over the city. It's basically Quality Eats Part 2 but worse service and the food tended to be so salty. The noise is insane here. I have really good hearing and could barely hear my dining parter. So loud!

Ally O.

Yelp
Came during the soft opening and was blown away! Incredible service, tasty cocktails and phenomenal meal (tuna tartare, steak and truffle risotto). Thought we would be going home with leftovers but devoured everything. Can't wait to come back!
