An incredible experience, from the humble yet talented chef, attentive service, and creative menu. I was shocked when the chef herself, Flo came down to greet the customers, introduce the bread, cook the dessert (Le Baba). The real shocker was when she even helped hand write notes to my girlfriend, mom, and I … and even helped us get into our Uber! I’ve never met such an unbelievably down to earth, with a bright sense of humor and smile in our short chats!! Where Flo was warm and welcoming, the staff were incredibly attentive, professional, and on top of their game. Within the first 5 minutes of entering the restaurant, I knew this restaurant was legit. Never have I felt so taken care of, from having our chairs pushed in, to the wiping of the tables, to replacing forks, to explaining dishes. Truly setting the standard for service. Food was a ridiculous gastronomic journey lasting 4 hours. An extra course to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday (mont blanc is her favorite!) was a nice touch. We were so stuffed after 6 courses, but every course brought a new flavor that kept entertaining the taste buds and had us never feeling tired of food. My mom loved the presentation, my girlfriend the taste, and myself the creativity. To give an example, never would I have thinking daikon paired well with fish, rum with oranges … boy was I paired wrong! There were so many layers and brilliant ideas. As someone who has been to a few Michelin-starred restaurants in New York and Paris, this blew all of them out of the water. Such an intimate, warm, and incredible experience. Thank you Flo and team for creating a hidden gem in Da’an!

Definitely one of the most exclusive French restaurants in Taipei. From the decoration to the service and of course the food. Very creative, it's not only very good but each plate is surprising. Can't wait to go back again. Thank you to the chef Florence, who always sublimates her dishes.

The devil is in the details. Chef Flo opens her very own restaurant, serving her hometown cuisine-Burgundy. The full menu includes 8 courses and the seasonal ingredients are often expensive, caviar, lobster, uni, truffle and etc. There are many French restaurants in Taiwan and 16 by Flo certainly stands out thanks to Chef Flo's culinary skills. The communal table offers an unique dining experience, intimate and cozy. The portion is substantial and just come with a good appetite-you are in it for a treat.

The food was pretty unique for Taiwan - authentic and fairly creative - seafood dishes in particular were exquisitely prepared and featured subtle touches. Service problems flagged by previous reviewers have been solved but the whole everyone sits at one big dining table experience is still there, along with a lot of bugs of different types joining you for dinner. Appreciated generous pours for wine by the glass.

We celebrated at 16 by Flo a couple of weeks ago, and it was excellent. Having tried Chef Florence's food when she was the Chef at Robuchon we were very keen to try her dishes as she showcases her own style to a fuller extent in her own place. We started out with Oscietra caviar served in customised tins together with an unctuous langoustine tartar, before moving through the rest of the thoughtfully judged menu. Other than some slightly thick pasta on the scallop dish, everything was perfect. Chef Florence's saucing skills verge on sorcery (sorry, I couldn't resist), and her flavour combinations keep on surprising. For food of this quality in such a beautiful atmosphere, the price is perfectly acceptable and we have already booked to go again.

Google let me rate only 5 stars, but I’ll give 10 ⭐️ for this amazing evening with all the staff and chef Florence Dalia’s magnificent menu and delicious cuisine! I’ve lived in Paris for 12 years, love fine dining, and this is the best french cuisine for me in Taipei 👍👍👍Must try!!!
