The most beautiful and charming location. We ordered the meat to share and loved it. It was a huge portion though but still great. Long and well curated wine list. The lady who served us spoke excellent Spanish and she was very attentive. Worth the one-stop train ride from Gstaad.

This is probably my favorite place in the Saanen-Gstaad region. The food is consistently outstanding and locally sourced. On this visit, I had perfectly cooked veal, preceded by a simple but fresh salad, and finished with a selection of local cheeses. The service is always exceptional—warm and welcoming. They also have a well-curated wine list. It’s an ideal spot for a Sunday afternoon aperitivo on the terrace, and just as inviting in winter, with a cozy bar area. What makes 16 truly special is how it brings together both locals and the international crowd, creating a unique and vibrant atmosphere. A must-visit.

An exciting hidden gem located in Saanen. We were enthusiastic about this awesome terrace covered by a huge sun umbrella and surrounded by rose trees. It creates a unique and romantic atmosphere giving you a feeling of being among friends at home. The service is extremely friendly, personal and attentive. The food quality was insane, meaning our Côte de Boeuf was perfectly made, delicious and tender. Finally, my passion sorbet was the best ever, melting me away with joy and happiness...Already looking forward to return anytime soon to this little paradise!

Beautiful restaurant run by an absolutely amazing team! We had arrived late for dinner after a long day of travel and with almost the entire Saanen village shut for the evening. The restaurant team not only accommodated us but ensured that we were looked after and we ended up having probably our best meal diring our Swiss holidays. Kudos to the Manager and the fab lady server who went out of their way to make us comfortable and treat us to a great dinner! A must visit place 😊🫶🏻🥂

It was a really nice place. The gentleman who wOrked there was really friendly, despite not speaking English or French, we could understand him a bit. The burger which I had as my lunch was super delecioua but expensive indeed! I felt like I'm in Zurich and not Saanen! The inside of readtaurant was also nice and cozy. The washroom was really small! Anyway! We enjoyed our experience here , thanks team 16
