Super cute place and yummy assortment of pastries and sweet treats! I got a lemon macaroon, gold flavor but quite sugary. I liked the hot lattes but my iced strawberry matcha could've used more strawberry syrup, the taste was kinda average. I'd go here for a tea date with the girls!

Come to spill your tea in a good ole-fashion way. Delicious (but little too sweet) semolina cake with yogurt frosting was full of flavor. My Cup of Joe was strong and hot. Plenty of choices to satisfy a sugar cravings. I felt welcomed. Clean bathroom. Fresh flowers on tables. Located at the small shopping plaza with a walk in courtyard with plenty of wooden chairs to sit.

It’s A Calming Atmosphere And Very Calming Music. The Tea Is Amazing And Relaxing. I Bought The Citron Calm Tea. It’s Very Calming And It Definitely Relaxes And Calm You Mind. I Would Definitely Recommend Anybody To Try This Place Out. Great Atmosphere, Great Employee, Great Service.

I have been here before for the macarons and coffee which we have always enjoyed. Yesterday 6 of us came for the afternoon tea and we all agreed this experience is just not a good overall value. Presentation is stunning with the beautiful dishes and gold tiered trays but the food and experience could be improved. For $30 for kids and $40 for adults, you have to share a pot of tea per couple, so you have to hope you have the same taste. The serving is one tiered tray with a couple savory options and several sweets. The menu is same for adults as it is for the kids but there is not enough for each person to have one of everything. Because it's all blended together on one tray it's confusing. The savory sandwiches taste like basic deli turkey kid sandwiches and then a unique cucumber sandwich which most of us did enjoy. Everything comes out super fast so it feels rushed. Having been to the Peabody's high tea several times, the cost for adults is $10 more at $50 and the cost for kids is the same at $30 but there you get 3 courses with several options, your own pot of tea, and a more prolonged experience. I think this tea experience could be improved with at least another course, their own tea pot of choice and ensuring that each person gets to try everything.

Absolutely LOVED our cake!! I’ve never had a cake that tasted like this, seriously such a unique cake. The perfect amount of sweetness, and the cake was so fresh. We ordered the 8” wedding cake for our anniversary and couldn’t believe how good it was, better than our wedding cake on our wedding day. It made our anniversary super special and memorable.

Looked all over for the perfect macaroons for a birthday cake for my child, little macaroon connoisseur. This place saved the day. Macaroons were bigger than all the other places we had stopped. Store was very clean and the owner friendly. Thank you!

This adorable shop in Overton Square has delicious macarons and other French pastries. They also serve Stumptown coffee and make their own delicious syrups for lattes with interesting flavors like orange blossom and rose cardamom. The homemade marshmallows are a must; the lavender ones are my favorite. They also host pop ups in the that give the place a real community feel. You should put 17 Berkshire at the top of your to do list next time you’re in midtown Memphis!

Had to go grab the iced coffee from 17 Berkshire in the Champion Sips Contest sponsored by Edible Memphis today. I am behind on trying the all. Going to catch up before it is over. I ordered the Snickerdoodle Latte with oat milk and half the sugar. It was perfect. Very nice flavors of cinnamon and yumminess. I ordered a snickerdoodle cookie that was pretty good size and very chewy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Perfectly baked cookie. The service was awesome. The young lady was very nice and cordial. The shop is decorated very nicely. The y offer tea parties and wonderful cookies, pastries and macarons. The items taste scrumptious. Check this wonderful local bakery and coffee shop if you have not.

Ordered macarons for an event and they were a hit! We stuck with classic flavors - pistachio, lemon, raspberry, and chocolate. Multiple people raved about how good they were and asked where they came from. Originally spoke with someone in the Germantown shop who was very helpful to figure out what would be a good fit for my event. Only note is macaron orders can't be placed online so we needed to call in. Looking forward to trying more flavors and treats next visit!

After visiting an exhibit at the Botanic Gardens, a group of us headed to 17Berkshire for afternoon tea. I am not a sweets person. Love candy, but desserts and the like have never been a fav. That said, I loved the food and experience! At $35 per person, each food set up includes tea sandwiches, scones, and assorted pastries. The scones were nothing to write home about but everything else made me sing. I don't recall ever trying a macaron and even if I did, it was only once. I'm glad I gave them a try during our visit because I found my new treat. To drink, we opted for the Heavenly Cream, Rouge Provence, and Chai teas. I had the latter two and both were amazing. The space is small but the windows make for great people watching on the square. The only downside to our experience was the wait time, and that was beyond anyone's control. We had a reservation but only one person was working, so she had to help every customer on her own. Keeping that in mind, please be patient with the staff

Absolutely love love love these. Never in my life have I had a macaroon, an just so happen a friend brought a box to work. An I never tried them based off others opinions. Til NOW!! I was told they are made different so if I ever try another from some where else. An they don't taste like these. You can keep it Raspberry all day for me. Can't wait to try the others

I wanted this place to be a great experience, but I was very disappointed. I heard about this place from an Edible Memphis article touting that it's "the gift for the tea lover who has everything." Their branding/marketing is super cute, and because my friend's birthday was coming up, I booked a tea time. We selected an afternoon slot on the day before Thanksgiving. I figured it would be pretty crowded but didn't think it would be packed, and it's a tea shop, so how busy can it get? The answer is VERY busy. The entire time we were there, people were packing in to order pastries and desserts, talking loudly. It's not a big place, so this was a huge distraction and really took away from the relaxing tea experience. When we got there, we waited in line, and were gestured toward a table in the corner which was reserved for us. We sat ourselves and waited about 15 minutes for the waitress (who was also working the packed counter/register) to come by for our tea order. We were informed that we get one tea type per two people. There were only 5 teas to choose from. We went with a classic Earl Grey. They took quite a while to bring us the tea pot, and the tea was very floral for Earl Grey. The tea cups weren't so much dainty tea cups as tea mugs; they felt very clunky for afternoon tea. Call me crazy, but I honestly expected bone china. More time passed, and then we were given a three tiered tray with our tea snacks on it. The snacks consisted of an underwhelming assortment of 6 generic sandwiches that were the size of a piece of bread in quarters, 4 scones that were the size of macaroons, and 6 bite-sized desserts. The sandwiches were 1) turkey with mayo, 2) cucumber with dressing, and 3) a crostini with cream cheese and a sprinkling of everything bagel seasoning. They were incredibly small and soggy. The pumpkin and vanilla scones were soft and super sugary. The desserts were a petit four (honestly the best part of the whole meal, though unexpectedly custard-like in texture), a chai tea bite, and a espresso and a maple macaroon. Our waitress only came by our table to get our initial tea order and then drop off the tea, and then drop off the tiered tray. We were not checked on at any other time, and I felt as if we were inconveniencing her when we asked for cream for the tea. To add insult to this, when I walked up to the counter to pay, I was informed there was a 15% service charge. Granted, the staff members were polite, but there were way too few staff members for the service I think they were trying to deliver. I didn't feel the value, service, nor food was worth the price. Everything tasted like it came out of a premade tin. I suppose my expectations were a lot different, as I was expecting a quiet, customized tea, especially for $40 per person. I wouldn't want to go back for anything, as even that petit four wasn't a stand-out item that would have me coming back. I'm really disappointed, and I can't say I'll ever be back.

I'm so so so so thankful 17 Berkshire has Harry Potter day/weekend at least once a year! We so enjoyed it last year and we're so happy it came back again for a full weekend!!! Everything we tried was fantastic and I think it's absolutely worth a trip but do be aware of a little sticker shock when it comes to the price. Everything we had was so fresh and while some of it felt especially overpriced (looking at you Goblet of Fire...) I can't be mad at the overall experience whatsoever. Favorites: Pumpkin Pastie, every single macaron we tried, and the polyjuice potion key lime was fantastic!

Cute little shop we found on yelp after we finished a late lunch nearby. We needed a lift after our long drive into Memphis. Our chai and latte were very good the cup and decor were very unique and special. My mom hit the nail on the head when she said you can tell this is someone's dream. The ambiance was quiet. There was only one family enjoying an afternoon "high tea" they were dressed to the nines. Rectangular dishes or trays under the pastries on display would really help highlight them . Definitely worth a stop! Go out and support someone's dream today!

Patisserie "a shop where French pastries and cakes are sold" I think it's so cool that we have a patisserie in the city! I love just passing by 17 Berkshire during my visits to Midtown! It's so beautiful, peaceful, and delicate! It's the perfect place to get some alone time, do some work, or have a tea party! I've done all 3! Lol The tea parties can be for adults and children. They include an assortment of pastries, teas, and coffee. They also have only merchandise for purchase at the store! It's a pretty sweet getaway and truly a city jewel. It is another one of the many examples in the collection of experiences Memphis has to offer. If you're ever in Midtown stop by to get something sweet and grab some tea! Items I Purchased: Pastry- Fraisier The Fraiser was creamy, fluffy, and paired well with the strawberries. It's not to be confused with cheesecake. Tea- Rouge Provence Rouge Provence was so good! It gave creamy floral notes. Next time I get it I'm going to add a little cream but it's good with only a little simple syrup.

Saddle Creek has a Pop-up location *through Feb. '24) between Talbots & Sephora. SO Nice for tea, coffee and pastries especially Maccarons - - recommend the Wedding Cake flavor, but all are fresh & super light.

We got this cake for my daughter's 2nd birthday! The cake was moist and the frosting was sweet, but not overly sweet like a lot of buttercreams. It was delicious and they did such a great job decorating it!

This is such a cute and fun spot. The macaroons are delightful and full of flavor. The store is too cute. I don't know why when I visited I immediately thought of cute decorations to host a brunch. Crazy right, lol! But that's how my mind works when I see something cute and with great food and service. We tried all of the macaroons and each one of them had a different taste. I definitely enjoyed the ginger one more than I expected. So yes, if you are in the area I would suggest stopping in for the small treat that's packed with so much flavor!

I adore 17 Berkshire! So it's hard to give it only 4 stars but I want to give a fair assessment. To good (great, really): the best macarons you can find in this area. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. The location so great and storefront is adorable! The bad: 17 Berkshire does cakes as well. I ordered one for my daughter's graduation and, particularly at the price point, it was beautiful but tasted underwhelming. Significantly underwhelming. This is why I've deducted a star. Recommendation for the owner: let customers know which flavors of macarons you're serving on which day. I'd happily drive from Mississippi for rose or lavender (personal favs) but not chocolate or red velvet. So each trip comes with a risk of disappointment. ProTip: Saturday morning has the best selection of macarons, cupcakes, tortes, etc.

Oh what a disappointment and a disgraceful showing. 150 bucks for tea for 3 and here is a the low down.... Three small square cucumber sandwiches, three small triangle 1 slice of meat sandwiches, three stale slices of baguette with herb store cheese- nothing was fresh- luxiourious or even palatable! The two mini scones each one was not baked through- some processed lemon curd just gross- the sweets - frozen cake that was gummy, processed stale mini cream puff and a macaroon. 2 pots of tea- had to ask for milk and honey. Now to the lake of service- laminated menus, paper napkins, and not once did they explain or check the table- and built in 15% cause honesly they would never get a tip! Bathroom was filthy- floor covered in paper and wet with you know what! I wanted to love and support this business but don't waste your money! So very sub par! I did not even take a photo cause it really was not pretty enough to post- sad single flower on the table- Don't go!

Cute place, nice desserts and really great service. Their birthday cake was more like half pudding half cake, yummy but on sweeter side. They have a rotating array of cupcakes which we heard are popular and sometimes sell out by afternoon. I usually don't like macaroons but their earl grey had a strong but not too overwhelming tea flavor.

This place wasn't easy to locate, you can't see it from the street while driving, you'll have to park and walk. The setting was elegant, the service though could be better; the young lady at register could use some additional training; greeting, smile, appreciation, etc., none of that was displayed. Their pastry runs $6-$7 a piece, so I do expect quality at this price. I tried a mango mouse and a peach pastry if I recall correctly, and it wasn't what you would expect from a gourmet bakery. I was curious about their tea service going in, but I don't think I would go back.

So I've given 17 berkshire lots of tries. Coffee is pretty good but nearly every time I order I have to explain to the barista how to make it. The decor is super cute. The pastries are beautiful. It's a lovely little spot to sit and drink coffee. One complaint ... and it's a big one. They have beautiful well baked macarons, near perfect in appearance; but practically flavorless. I have tried all my favorite flavors of macarons ... lavender, orange blossom, earl gray, rose, and lemon. Of all of these chosen flavors the only one that tasted anything like it's labeled flavor was lemon. And the lemon just tasted like slight lemon extract. There was no discernible flavor in pretty much any of their macarons. I could taste no lavender or orange blossom or earl gray or rose flavors in any of them. Were they tasty ... I suppose. They tasted like a plain macaron with plain buttercream and if they had not been labeled as a flavor I would not have been disappointed. But, they did label them as a flavor ... with a pretty sign and everything! And because I was expecting lavender when I ate the lavender macaron I was considerable crestfallen when it tasted like nothing more than slight almond. I have eaten many macarons all over the country and other countries (including France). I've had amazingly flavored macarons. I've actually made them myself several times. Macarons are this lovely little mix of cookie, candy, cake, crispy, chewy, etc. I love a delicious macaron! I'm just so so sad 17 berkshire was so disappointing. They have beautiful pastries! The macarons are just picture perfect. But if you say something is lavender or rose ... it should be exactly that and not leave me searching for ANY flavor (other than almond and sugar) as I chew. I've debated on what to rate this ... I WANT to give 17 Berkshire 4 stars just for the appearance of everything ... including the pastries! I feel I'm somehow definitely going against the crowd here ... but I would feel dishonest singing their praises for those - like myself - looking for a deliciously flavorful macaron. I wish I could rate them 3.5 stars ... but no half stars allowed and as it is, a three star review is a much more honest rating. Will I go back? Yes.... I mean everything is just so pretty!!! Will I continue to try the macarons ... *sigh* yes ... who knows, maybe next time I'll discover flavor that I am so eager to find.

This place is very nice the only thing about it it's very small but no complaints, they have some very good dessert and not to bad of a price for what they are selling. Totally recommend

Such a cute bakery in Memphis. I went here because I heard about their macaroon selection. They make about 8 different flavors of macaroons each day. I got one of each flavor to try, and they were so good that I was back the next week to buy more. They also have a wider selection of other sweet treats that they make daily. The bakery is very well decorated. They also offer afternoon tea that you can make reservations for on days that they bakery is open. I have not tried the afternoon tea yet, but I would like to make a reservation soon! They also have fun theme related events. At the beginning of September, they had a Harry Potter themed weekend. Treats and drinks were made that were Harry Potter themed - from a sorting house cupcake to a butterbeer latte. They also decorated the bakery with Harry Potter themed decorations. Such a fun a cute idea!

This is the prettiest pastry spot in Memphis! Perfect for an afternoon treat with girl friends.

Cute little shop. Wish we would've tried the coffee. The macarons were delicious and we had a blueberry tarte as well that was pretty good.

En Esta Pastelería sirven postres pequeños llenos de mucho sabor. Este lugar ofrece diferentes sabores de macarons y variedad de pastelitos que llenan de felicidad. Pueden reservar fiestas de té en la tarde y tienen menú para los niños, ¿No les parece tierno? Ofrecen café, te, y lo más lindo es que tienen una repisa en la esquina de la tienda con puras cositas chiquitas que puedes comprar, van desde velas aromatizadas a franelas con frases alusivas a la pastelería. Came to Memphis with my family. While staying at the Memphian we wandered the streets in search of a pastry shop something cool and satisfying. We found just that. Greeted with sweet staff and our taste buds immediately appreciated our decision. The fruit tart and macaroons with a vanilla bean latte hit the SPOT. Absolutely delicious and cute. The courtyard allows for a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy your treats.

Lovely atmosphere, scrumptious finger sandwiches and small scones/cakes/cookies, teas that I've never had before, smiling service. Thoroughly enjoyable experience! We had a wonderful reunion - thank you 17 Berkshire!

Love this gorgeous, friendly, whimsical spot. Unfortunately, on this trip, the macarons were each very dry and stale. The Persian Love Cake was moist and unique and glad I tried it.

This is the place your Instagram dreams are made of! The food is not only delicious but so beautiful and between the marble tables, flowers and white framed walls this is the perfect spot to snap the perfect pic while enjoying some sweet treats. There's about 7 tables inside that seat two each so you can either grab and go or sit and socialize, which is what I did. I got a chai tea and a box of six macaroons so I'd have some to take home, so far the Oreo is my favorite. The tea was $3.75 for a cup and macaroons are $2.15 each with a small discount when purchasing a box of 6 or 12. This is the perfect spot to hang out with your gal pal and catch up over a cup of coffee or tea. I can't wait to go back!

3.5 stars. Pretty atmosphere, good macarons. We got one of every flavor. Some were better than others. I cant say they are they best macarons I've ever had, but they are the best I've had around here. What marked points off for me was some of the filling tasting a bit artificial. I wanted to try their opera cake but it looked really flat and priced at +$6. Would like to try their afternoon tea next time.

17B has the BEST macarons in Memphis! I love them so much that I requested a macaron-topped cake from here for my birthday. my family said it was the best cake they had enjoyed in a long time and I agree! the Service is always so friendly and the coffee drinks are excellent (orange blossom latte )

The macarons are AMAZING here. The perfect texture... an initial crunch and soft inside. As good as the ones I had in France! Their flavors are plentiful and they change out flavors each day. Made fresh in store! Definitely do not want to miss this place if you enjoy macarons and great pastries! Our faves were the wedding cake, lemon and chocolate. They are all great though! We went 2 days in a row!

My group and I (grandmother, aunt, mom and cousin (8 yrs old) wanted a tea and pastries place for the 8 year old & grandmothers bday. My aunt and grandma were frustrated that they weren't able to find it right away, (they drove), I however got on my apple maps once we were in town and realized it was in the back and not on the main road it lead them to. Easy Fix. Not hard to find. It's a cute part of town. There's free parking garage across the street. It is $5 6pm-4am. The place was very small inside. My aunt reserved for 3 adult teas and 1 child. Instead it gave us 2 tea pots & 2 trays. The food was 7.5/10. For the price it is not worth it in my opinion. We were wondering why it wasn't busier for the tea party feel for woman and girls. I think that is why. It was ok. I would try somewhere else before returning. 3 of the women liked the Heavenly cream tea over the chai, but my little cousin and I (21 yrs old) thought it tasted like water. I most looked forward to macaroons as those are my favorite dessert. There's were 7/10. My small MS college town coffee shop and small MS home town both has coffee shops that make them better. Altogether my aunt and grandmother enjoyed mostly everything

A wonderful spot nestled in Overton Square! There are various pastries and other sweets to choose from, including macarons. We chose to try the raspberry, lemon, and espresso macarons, and they were great! Lightly sweet, a nice crunch to the outside, and a soft, chewy inside. There were other fun, fall themed flavors like pumpkin spice, maple, etc. The pumpkin bar was moist and had cream cheese baked inside. The pecan tart was light but satisfied our craving for pecan pie! The whipped cream was a great addition. Afternoon tea seemed to be very popular, and there were multiple groups enjoying hot tea, tea sandwiches, and sweet treats. The only item we did not enjoy that much was our iced vanilla lattes. The espresso had a bitter aftertaste, but the vanilla syrup was nice. Overall, a great place to wander into on a sunny Sunday afternoon in the fall! We will have to come back for afternoon tea.

I have never been a big fan of Macarons, but I stopped by 17 Berkshire in the late afternoon to see if they could change my mind. They out of most of the flavors since they were about to close, but I actually really enjoyed the ones I tried! I can't wait to go back and try a few more. I had a tea latte as well, which was delicious! The atmosphere is really cute as well. Update: my husband went and got me one of each flavor to try!! They were all pretty good, honestly, but I enjoyed the pistachio and rose the most!

The macaroons that I had were surprisingly underwhelming for a stand-alone macaroon and tea/coffee cafe. I ordered a variety of flavors with the top flavor being raspberry. The shop itself isn't large but lacks warmth and charm. I wouldn't return.

This is the cutest little bakery that I've ever been to! I got here around 1 PM or 2, and it was completely empty. I ordered the lavender, pumpkin spice, snickerdoodle, raspberry, and espresso (I think) macarons. All of the flavors were so delicious! I was a little thrown off by the macaron texture - I was expecting them to be chewier and denser, but they were somewhat fluffy and very light. They were also pretty pricey at about $14 for a box of 6. Nonetheless, they all tasted great!

Amazing - from Alabama and came after reading the great reviews and it was better than expected as far as macaroons go. Next level for sure - do t hesitate!

Macaroon ice cream sandwich. With lavender ice cream. Yes, you read that right. It's so good!! Grab your treats & ask for plates, you can sit in the Overton Square patio on a nice afternoon and have a little moment.

Beautiful store, perfect decor and sweet treats. What more could you ask for? They had a vast selection of macaron flavors, however I found the texture to be odd. While they were tasty, the cookie was off. It was crunchy and had a large air pocket. The crunchy, soft, melty texture I enjoy in macarons was not there. The buttercream was also not the normal texture of a macaron. It reminded more of a cupcake topping. Again, they were flavorful and unique, but not what a traditional macaron is to me. I enjoyed the store and was absolutely perfect for Instagram lovers!

This is the cutest little coffee shop! It has delicious coffees and lattes, a clean chic atmosphere, and tasty macaroons and desserts. It's a little pricey, but it's a great place to have coffee and catch up with a friend. I will definitely be back. Everyone I have taken here loves it!

Been waiting an ETERNITY for a place like this! From the decor, the marble, the cute flowers, and the super delicious sweets, this place hits the spot. I can easily make this a weekly spot for coffee and dessert. The dessert is the perfect little size with such unique flavors. Everything we tried tasted so homemade and authentic! It's like having a little bit of Paris in Memphis. I already know this place will be very successful, popular and busy.

Stopped with the kids for a treat while their art dried at The Art Project. Beautiful shop!!! Pretty desserts too! I got a vanilla latte which was good but not very hot. We got the orange, rose and birthday cake macaroons. All three were delicious!! The kids also got a cupcake and cookie- sugar overload! Definitely try it and enjoy the fancy feel of it!
